Diane graduated from the University of California, Davis, with a Bachelor of Science in Physiology and has worked in the dental field for over 20 years. She loves the variety her three positions offer and the relationships she has built with both patients and referring offices.

When you call to schedule an appointment with our office, one of our team members will work with you to help find an appointment time, get you all of the necessary paperwork, provide you with directions to our office and answer any questions you might have. Your initial examination is a very easy appointment. Dr. Williamson will gather information about your case and discuss his findings with you. Many times, patients will not require any treatment at all; however, if you do require treatment, Dr. Williamson will review it with you and let you know what to expect regarding the plan he has recommended.
Our office will be happy to work with you to maximize your insurance benefits. It will be very important that you provide our office with all of your insurance information so that we can determine what kind of coverage you have and what benefits will apply to any treatment Dr. Williamson might recommend.

It's wonderful to feel confident going to a true professional that really knows his craft. Dr. Williamson did a molar extraction and bone graft for me. It was a flawless procedure and I would recommend him to anybody. I'm afraid of dentists and doctors in general. I'm so happy I found Dr. Williamson and entrusted my care to him. Dr. Williamson and his entire staff made my entire experience with gum grafting as pleasurable as it can be. He and the staff are extremely thorough and caring with their patients. It can be daunting having a procedure like this done but everyone in the office truly seemed invested in the quality of care their patients receive, and from my experience it was exceptional care. I cannot say enough amazing things about Dr. Williamson as well as the entire staff. Dr. Williamson is very knowledgeable and made me feel very comfortable starting from the initial consult to the surgery to the post op appointments. No one wants to hear from their dentist that they need gum recession surgery in their 20's- but mine told me a few times and I shrugged it off because I wasn't "in pain". I procrastinated. I wound up losing a mouth guard and had to stop in at my childhood orthodontists office. My ortho took one look in my mouth and confirmed my gums realllllly needed the recession surgery (unprompted). Today is the date that I have been waiting for my braces is off now..wohoo...and it's been 6 months since I had crown lengthening surgery from Dr. Mike Williamson. I am Vietnamese so my English wasn't good at all but he was kind and explained patiently what he is going to do to improve my gummy smile. The surgery date was finally coming, I was very nervous, the night before I couldn't sleep cause I thought it's going to be very painful and bloody. I've had gum grafting surgery before, and it's not fun. It's easy to want to put it off, and after having it done years ago, it was scary to get it again. But this time was with Dr. Williamson, and what a huge difference! Dr. Williamson did a great job, and my recovery period wasn't too painful. They took something no one likes (dental work/oral surgery) and made the whole process enjoyable. The entire staff was friendly from the first time they greeted me until the final follow-up appointment. This summer I had a gum graft with moderate sedation with Dr. Williamson on one tooth and it was all smooth sailing. My primary dentist referred me to him for a different problem that turned out to be a non-issue (my bottom molars are growing unopposed because my top molars were pulled out several years ago). Everyone I met was super nice and Dr. Williamson spent a lot of time with me answering my questions. All of the pre-and post op instructions were clearly explained and also written down, and I love that he uses both traditional pharmaceuticals and also homeopathic drugs for pain management

I've been going here every three (3) months for almost six (6) years now. From day one, I've always felt welcome and enjoyed my interactions with the various staff. My everyday dentist told me to see a periodontist, and sent over my tooth X-rays - 5 years prior and current. Dr. Williamson said he studied the two and the latest showed lots of bone loss. He assured me he did nearly a thousand of these a year. I asked to see the two X-rays side by side but he didnĀ“t seem to hear me and could never see them. Dr. Williamson does FANTASTIC work!
I had no idea a gum graft could be so painless! And this was the kind where Dr. Williamson had to take a piece of the roof of my mouth to do it. The next day, I was back on the phones at work, and didn't need to use any of the pain meds or numbing solution.
To top it off, everyone in the office, including the good doctor himself, are personable, professional, and knowledgeable. Don't hesitate to make an appointment if you need periodontal work done!

I was referred by Dr Worob to Dr Wililamson for a phrenectomy and a gum graft. Scheduling was easy with the front desk(Jill). I had a reminder call before each visit. During both visits he answered every question I had with professionalism and made sure I wasn't confused. He even remembered small details like personal life aspect, volleyball team and etc. Sarah was professional, sweet, and very caring. She's a great team member of the practice. I have been a perio-patient at this practice for many years. Through all those years I have had Lynn as my hygienist and Dr. Williamson as my periodontist. Lynn does a superb job, and has been very patient and thorough with all my cleanings and the couple of sessions of root-planing and scaling. She is also very knowledgeable, kind and friendly. Dr. Williamson is very knowledgeable and through as well and I had good results from the one round of gum surgery I needed years ago.

He is extremely knowledgeable and stay up to date with continued education. So this is still fairly early, but my husband had a tooth extraction, implant, and gum graft this morning. Dr Williamson and his his nurses made him feel very comfortable and well informed about the surgery and recovery. During the surgery, he felt absolutely no pain, and they were gentle and thorough.
