Dr. Danelle Walton was born and raised in Indiana. She received her undergraduate degree in Biology from Indiana University Bloomington and went on to get her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Indiana University School of Dentistry. While in dental school, she met her best friend and future husband, Kyle.
We have worked hard to provide an atmosphere that allows you to feel at home. Our strength is in the details and every aspect of our office has your comfort and experience in mind!. Dr. Walton just picked art she liked to decorate the office but some has meaning. When Dr. Walton's parents got married, their wedding flower was birds of paradise, hence, the large canvas.
We will need you to provide your insurance information at least 3 days prior to your appointment so that we may determine your eligibility. Please understand that it takes a great deal of time to do and in the event that this is not done prior to your appointment, we cannot give accurate estimates for your treatment.
As a courtesy to all of our patients, we accept all PPO based plans and electronically submit claims to your insurance on your behalf. Insurance can be confusing for everyone (even us!). All plans are very different in their coverage amounts, maximums, limitations, etc. We do our best to contact your insurance carrier with the information you provide to us to ensure your eligibility prior to your appointment so there are no surprises i.e.
If you are having a true emergency, we can get you in the same day. We set aside specific times in our schedule that allow us to address emergency situations. Please call us (512) 953-8362 in the unfortunate event of an emergency. Murphy's Law -- our office is closed and your tooth decided to act up on you.

I really don't like going to the dentist, however, Dr. Walton is very friendly, gentle and sympathetic to people like me! He recently treated my teeth with some fillings and I've never felt more confident in my dentist and comfortable being in that chair. The fillings went without a hitch and I'm happy to finally find a great dentist I can trust!

Im a dentist and went to Dr. Danielle Walton for a procedure and i can say with confidence that i can tell she is a dentist who cares about her patients and will go the extra mile to get good results. Wholeheartedly recommend her not only as a professional but a human being who takes care of you like family. She wont just treat the symptoms she will try to find the cause. I've been a patient of Dr. Danelle Walton for almost as long as she's been in Austin, well before she had her own office. I recommend her and her practice without reservation. I don't mind going to the dentist at all, as there's no pain involved, even when a filling is as difficult and deep as the one I had treated today.

Update...So, it's been two years now, and I've continued to use Dr. Walton. She's as friendly and considerate as before. Her business has grown over the last two years, so some things have changed.
She's still my most favorite dentist...
Update - 04/23/21 - I experienced significant issue with a tooth, started causing pain. Called and set an appointment one week out. Made it three more days before the pain reached a level I could no longer deal with. Called, was unable to move up my appointment so Dr. Danelle, Dr. Kyle, and the staff worked with me extensively

I highly, highly suggest turning to Walton Family Dentistry and trusting them with your teeth. I didn't have a great experience at my previous Austin dentistry so I figured I would give Walton a try (based on positive Yelp reviews). That was the best decision I could have made. Danelle and her husband Kyle are so knowledgeable and extremely helpful. Danelle did one initial review of my teeth and starting talking to me about how I see you sleep on this side of your face at night, here is why you snore, etc. Gave me so much valuable insight that I never knew!

Both Dentist are very knowledgeable and work extremely hard to give their patients the best dental care. Dr. Kyle Walton makes getting treatment a walk in the park with his thorough explanations throughout the whole process . Very skilled work . Dr. Danelle is also very skilled dentist who pays attention to every small detail and takes her time with her patients always making sure her work is top notch . I have been going to Dr. Walton for the past 6 years after moving to Austin. She and her staff are top notch! I recently went and even with all the crazy covid precautions felt very safe. Whether you are going for a 6 month checkup or an annual visit they always provide thorough care and explain everything. Prior to moving to Austin, I had some pretty traumatizing dental visits but Dr. Walton always makes you feel comfortable and at ease. Thankful I found such a wonderful dental practice! Highly recommend!!!

I was in search of a new dentist and am so glad I found this practice! Dr. Danelle Walton was more thorough than any dentist I've ever seen and pointed out/explained things in a way that I've never heard from other dentists. I feel like she takes a more conservative approach, which I love! In other words: she gives a vibe that's the exact opposite from the kind of dentists who make you wonder whether something is actually necessary! I completely trust her advice and would highly recommend her.

Dr. Walton's practice is extremely efficient, friendly, and reasonable. He was the first dentist I've ever had who not only explained what was happening with my teeth but why x or y was happening. While a previous dentist had tried to sell me on aligners, Dr. Walton was quick to say that if I was happy with the appearance and function of my bite/smile, there was no compelling reason to have the expensive and commitment-requiring treatment. Dr. Walton consistently spent more than enough time answering questions and making me feel more confident than ever about my smile. I can't recommend this office

Both Dr. Waltons are outstanding-- you can't go wrong. I've had exceptional dental care from them for nearly 10 years. I feel compelled to write another review for the miraculous work that Dr. Kyle Walton did on my 87-year-old mother's front teeth. She recently fell on a Sunday and severely chipped three teeth. I contacted their office that day, he texted me 15 mins later to schedule an appointment the next day, and he was actually able to save them and patch them up. They look incredible! It is a tall order to find a new dentist in a new city when you have had the comfort of the same dentist for 30 years. The online reviews held up for Walton Family dentistry, and the transition was comfortable and seamless. Dr. Walton is THE BEST dentist. I think she's really amazing at her job because she's a perfectionist and really hard on herself. Haha
I was impressed when I had my teeth bonded. I had worn away a significant amount of enamel, so she had to reconstruct my teeth. In other words, she sculpted the bonding stuff into perfect tooth shape for each tooth that was getting repaired. Very, very detail oriented work!
When she was done, my teeth looked perfect, but she was still worried it wasn't good enough. That was maybe 9 years ago? My teeth still look perfect.

Just finished up my first check-up with Dr. Walton. What a fantastic office! The front desk staff member, Lindsay, is so friendly. Cassidy, the dental hygienist, is very knowledgeable and thorough. They were accommodating with my schedule and very friendly, thorough, and overall fantastic. They explained so much to me that no other dentistry practice has before (who knew I have mandibular torii?). I initially visited another dentist, which was not a great experience, but I decided to go to Dr. Walton for a second opinion. Walton Family Dentist have the best hygienist. Her name is Cassidy. In all my years of going to dentists, my teeth have never been cleaned so thoroughly, with such patience and care. I cannot say enough positive things about Dr. Walton and her staff. I happened to find her through a friend and co-worker. I knew that I had to get a crown procedure done and received a quote from my regular dentist that was depressing. My friend urged me to call Dr. Walton's office and get a quote (as they were a part of my insurance network) and thank goodness I did! Not only did I save money but I have found my new dentist!
