Went to this dentist to try them out for a first time visit. They chose to do only x-rays and asked for me to make time for another appointment to clean.
I could never get an appointment for cleaning even though after I called a second time and they promise to call me back when an appointment would open up.
Never happened.
Not exactly friendly and strange that I could never get much communication in order to get an appointment.
I have never been to a dentist with this type of system.
I guess it was inconvenient for their business to have both x-rays and a cleaning in one appointment which

I have been a patient of Dr. Meeks for almost/right at twenty years. However, I received an email from his office stating that they are now charging $24 per patient for PPE gear for every appointment. When I questioned the offices practices. And stated that I would finish out my two appointments and find another dentist. I was basically told that I can go to a new dentist now.Which was rude. It wasn't about the $24. It is about principal. I'm fortunate to not have to worry about money. Apparently the practice didn't take into consideration that people are going through hardships

I have been using Dr. Tasch since 1991. He has done crowns and replaced my night guard, more than once. I would love to continue to go there but they no longer take my dental insurance. I have also moved to Pflugerville so will be getting someone closer to my new residence. I have only had good experiences here and would recommend him to anyone that needs a regular dentist. Just check if your dental Insurance is one they accept.

I was a patient of Dr Meek only meeting him briefly at every cleaning I had there so I had no knowledge of his personality when under pressure or his work ethic. I was reluctant when in for my last cleaning there was informed by him that I needed a crown according to the x-ray he to took never able to see a crack on the front of the tooth as he pointed it out to me. I agreed to a crown thinking he was telling me what he knew to be the case. When the crown came in it was made incorrectly. Agitated, he shared that information with me but was determined to use it anyway instead of having it remade

In 2003, I was here in Austin for SXSW, and I broke a tooth on a tortilla chip! It didn't hurt but I needed it fixed. A friend of a friend sent us to Dr. Tash. We end up living here, and after 10 years, hubby and I, going to 38th Street Dental. . . for me it's a big deal because I am a dental-phobe for decades.
I will part company with these good docs because of the office staff's inability to be kind. Mainly the Office Manager who shamed me for escalating in my anxiety.

Dr. Meek is great. I love going to the dentist! When I moved to Austin I wasn't able to find anyone I liked and ended up not going to the dentist for a few years. I got referred by a coworker (yay insurance) and hope to keep going to Dr. Meek for years to come. I live and work in South Austin, but it is well worth the drive! His staff is excellent and make sure you feel comfortable. They are not pushy about "extras", but give you their honest opinion. I love that the cleaning seat has a large window to look out on the trees while you get your teeth cleaned!

The entire staff from the ladies who greet you at the front desk to Dr. Tasch & his assistant Courtney, you’ll be welcomed with kindness & respect. They’re very attentive & carefully focused on your needs based on the doc’s assessment. Dr. Tasch is such a kind, incredibly smart, patient and good-hearted man! I'm so grateful to have a stellar dentist --he has been my dentist for years--and is now my mom's dentist. The dental technicians are outstanding too; they do such important work and are the nicest people. Also, many thanks to the wonderful, caring office manager who took the time out to help me figure out how to move forward with my mom's dental plan. If you are fortunate, over the course of a lifetime you will meet people who are gifted at what they do, love doing it, and enrich the lives of those with whom they interact. I've been a patient for a long time. The care from Dr. Meek and the hygienists is top notch. I'd give five stars for that. But I called today and the bored-sounding scheduler offered me a cleaning in July. I also have a filling that is cracked or has fallen out and hurts a… bit, and she said the earliest Dr. Meek could see me would be in 4 weeks. I was disappointed, but I wasn't sure if that was the standard of care.
So, I called four other dental practices in North Central Austin (all with five stars on Yelp). All

The staff makes you feel like you are part of their family. The hygienist I saw today, Sadie, was AMAZING. She made me feel at ease and relaxed. She will be my hygienist from now on. Then there is Dr Meek, there is not enough time in the day to say how wonderful he and his assistant are. I have HIGH anxiety with going to the dentist, they are very patient and professional and never makes a big deal out of my anxiety. I HIGHLY recommend this practice.

Dr. Meek is AMAZING!! I was recently visiting Austin and had an emergency dental situation come up after losing the veneer on one of my front teeth. I was mortified to say the least. Being without a veneer is like being without one of your front teeth, it is not a pretty sight and the exposure of what is left of the original tooth is painful. My friend is a patient of Dr. Meek's and reached out to him to see if there was anything at all he could to do help or point us in the right direction being that it was a weekend and on such short notice. I usually get dental work done overseas, but since I haven't been able to travel in a while due to work so I decided to get my teeth checked and cleaned here thanks to new dental insurance. The office was clean and the receptionist was very sweet, I had to wait less than 5 minutes before I was brought to the back. I was seated in a chair with a nice view and Jennifer was my dental assistant. She explained everything to me very thoroughly from my x-rays to how i should clean my teeth and why I might be experiencing some gum swelling.
