I don’t recommend this place to anyone, We booked an appointment a month earlier. When it was time for the appointment me and my four kids went. We had to wait 2 hours to see the dentist, on top of that the dentist in charge did not do what we had asked for on the phone and what we agreed on. Awful experience.

My 3yr old son had his first and now second dentist experience here with this wonderful team! I was nervous of bringing in my wild child but from the moment we walked in, it was a special experience. They did a great job connecting with him, smart placement of distractions, and he left with a smile on his face (balloon, toy, and new toothbrush helped too). It was like reliving my childhood in the best way. Making what could be a dreading experience, a great one. Each visit has been with a different dentist and staff and so far all of them made it a happy and seamless. Thank you Central Texas Pediatric

Our 2 year old had major enamel hypoplasia. We've seen several dentists with most telling us to just pull the teeth. Even though we were delayed for 3 months due to the virus, I'm so grateful to Dr Hernandez and his office crew! Our little love seems to be doing amazing. Dr Hernandez has the best bed side manner everytime we see him! My daughter's 2 so she really has her own opinions(or attitudes anyway), but he is always so calm and reassuring with her.

This review is only for the front desk as we never got to see the dentist, Steve Hernandez and Angie Hernandez. This was my daughters first dentist appointment, she is 20 months so we were looking forward to our appointment and had talked to her about it all week long. Our appointment was for Friday, April 6, 2018 at 9:30am. I found it odd that I did not receive a phone/text to remind me of our appointment and I was so busy I did not call to confirm. On Friday, we show up and the doors are locked. I was confused because their hours say they open at 8am. A friendly dental assistant unlocked

Today was our first ever visit to the dentist (dr. Angie Hernandez ) with our two boys, 3 and 15 months. We had been speaking to our older son, Luca about brushing, flossing etc. He woke up so excited about his visit! When we arrived we were greeted by so many friendly faces :) we sat in the waiting room equipped with books, TVs, and toys (and a fish tank which my 15 month old lovvved). Dr. Hernandez personally came to greet us and brought us back. The first 10 minutes were all about making the boys comfortable. Showing them around and talking to Luca about cleaning his teeth, explaining everything

I took my kids here for a few years but today I finally hit my limit. We received the appointment reminder post card a couple of weeks ago, so I made necessary arrangement for another one of my child's usual Tuesday appointment so we can make this dentist appointment and I requested time off from work. This morning, I realized that the dentist office hadn't called me yesterday to confirm, which is the normal (albeit old-fashioned) way. I called at 8 am thinking they were open but the auto message said they open at 9. I had no idea they opened at that hour which is late for a medical office

I've been taking my kiddos here every 6 months for 3 years, and have had positive experiences each and every time. The only negative I can give them is that I did not like the orthodontist they recommended to us, only because the way he talked to my daughter had negative body image connotations, and he was primarily concerned with vanity. BUT the dentist and their work has always been exceptional!

I love this practice! I have three boys ages 2, 3 and 4. The first time I went for a regular check up I was so impressed with the office professionalism and how comfortable they have made the office for parents and children.
Today my 2 year old fell off his bike. The office got me in immediately. They were kind and wonderful. Madie saw us first. Madie was so friendly, caring, approachable, and professional. She checked in on us. Explained everything in detail and was a gem! Dr. Steve came in and from the very first time I met him , prior, I adored him and felt amazing professionalism and

I have been taking my girls here for a couple of years now. For cleanings, they are fine. We have had long waits during several of the appointments which is not good for an anxious child. My main issue with this office is their customer service with the parent. They seem very annoyed and very concerned about being paid. They are very quick to offer services that your children "must" have when in the end, they are 100% optional, like sealant on their molars. Last year, while my daughter's teeth were being cleaned, they brought me an estimate, to sign and date, that showed what

If I could give 0 stars I would.
Long post but about someone trying to hurt my daughter:
So, I took my kids to this dentist recently and they told me that My daughter would need 3 silver caps or crowns on her teeth. So, like any normal parent I freaked out at what they were telling me and was horrified at having my 6 year old have a mouth full of silver. The dentist told me there was the option of using a half silver crown that I would pay out of pocket or to take her tooth out. I was shocked and said there must be other options and she said there were not and to think it over when I was less

I cannot express my appreciation for this dentist group enough! Dr Steve was GREAT with my daughter. He made decisions based on what was best for her, not his financial gain. My daughter was very scared, as she had a VERY bad experience in another country in the past, and so screamed a lot the first day, but today she took her meds, and slept through the procedure. This is a testament to the rapore he built with her. The staff was also amazing! We will continue to come here from whatever country we live in.

We had a great experience here. The waiting room was chaos, and one mom was yelling at her three kids the entire time we were in there, so my first impression was not good.
It isn't the most personal place. They have one room with three chairs in it, versus what I'm used to, which is rooms with one chair like a doctor's office.
But, the staff is so friendly. All of them, from the hygienists, receptionists, and dentists, everyone was really putting in effort to make the kids feel comfortable. By the time we got out of there my daughter had four stickers, a balloon, a bag full

Overall, the staff was great with my 3 and 5 year old. However, the dental assistant (Nora) was very impatient and rude. She showed no enthusiasm and actually seemed angry that my daughter was not biting down correctly during the X-rays. I complained and was told a manager would be with me shortly. This never occurred which was unsettling so we will not be going back.

Our 4 year old and 2 year old both get their cleanings and dental work done at Central Texas Pediatric Dentistry. From the beginning, I've been amazed by their patience, staff, and top notch care for their little patients. My oldest daughter was a finger sucker and instead of making us feel guilty and worried about it, they encouraged us to use positive reinforcement and let her grow out of it on her own time. The dental assistants, hygienists, and doctors really understand kids and know exactly how to make them feel comfortable and make their dental experience a positive one!

Dear owner/dentist,
After trying to call your office for two days in a row, for probably a total of a dozen times, during normal business hours, and never getting anyone to answer, I've decided to find the next pediatric dentist on the list. Business 101, make sure your staff answers the phone. That's your million dollar tip of the day.

I love this place for my kiddos. The office staff are very friendly and prompt. The assistants, Maddie and Daniella were super gentle and sweet and made my girls very comfortable. The hygienist, Jodi, was very patient an explained everything to the kids. Dr. Rice is cool and very kid oriented!
I like how technologically advanced they are with tv's in the ceiling, text message reminders about appointments, and the latest dental equipment. The decor is awesome and very kid friendly while reflecting the airport with airplanes, runways, and little gadgets.
I would highly recommend this pediatric

We've only been using CTPD for about a year, but so far they have been great. Very friendly staff, good dental work and wonderful with my kids. They even have TV screens on the ceilings to keep kids occupied while the work is being done so they don't get all squirmy and impatient. My kids even like the staff - can't say that about some other dentists we've tried. They're also in this century technologically - they send me text messages to remind me of appointments. Love it!

We have been going to Dr. Steve for 5 years now. When we moved to Austin and had to find a dentist, I was apprehensive about trying to find the 'right' one for my kids. I have feared the dentist myself for many, many years and I certainly don't want my kids having that fear.
Well, long story short...my daughter was at a retreat with our church when her tooth "cracked in half". Looks like there was no better time than the present to find their dentist! I called Dr. Steve's office and left a msg. It was a Friday night and I was just hoping the voicemail msg I left
