Almaden House

I just wanted to give this place more stars since everyone seems to think they deserve white glove top notch service from an apartment complex that charges way less and offers more than nearly all of Santa Clara county. Reading the other reviews, I would argue that a lot of people really don't get how expensive and nightmarish it is at other complexes.

Recently received a parking sticker from the leasing office and placed my parking permit inside my vehicle on the dash board. My car was towed and my parking sticker has gone missing. Now I have to pay 500 dollars to get my car back. If this had happened to anyone in the past please comment.

I see a lot of negative reviews on here. I just have to say, you get what you pay for. Neighbors are respectful and quiet and the manager onsite was understanding. The location isnt that great as you have a lot of people hanging outside of 7/11 being loud, right around the corner. Its right next to Almaden Expressway so you may hear people speeding yelling and screeching tires from time to time during night hours. Its got a gym, bank and few fast food spots within a block thou.

This is the worst property management I ever contacted. I'm only giving them a one star because I can't give them a zero. I was set up with an appointment to look at a rental and nobody showed up to let me view the rental. I wasted 2 hours of my time in commute to look at this stupid property.I didn't even receive a call back or email from Almaden after they failed to show up. Horrible, Horrible property management. Never contact Almaden!!!!!

I'm not one to complain at all, this is probably the first review I've written in months. But I want to do a service to the people of San Jose by saying stay away from this place and do not invest a dime in this dishonest place. Not only was there rodents roaming the unit at night, but the manager has just topped the cake with her dishonesty and is an example of the greed that exists within the housing industry. This was our worst experience of living in the apartment. No, in general, everything was not bad: of course the apartments were old and we knew what we were get for at that price (the cheapest price 2 years ago in this area), and the management always carried out requests on any issues. But when the time came to move out, here already the apartments decided to make repairs at our expense! Be careful when settling in Almaden, I recommend making a photo of all the holes, scratches, cracks, spots, etc., in the future it can be very useful. And also carefully place the signatures on the move-in/move

Worst manager ever, please if someone from upper management read this do something about it, she is been here for couple of months and I had enough already and I bet I'm not the only one. If you are wondering who is the manager, her name is Norma Duarte.

To start off the management here have poor customer service and no common sense to anything an to top it off lazy...The apartments are old full of mold ,mice,and the parking is terrible not enough parking for the tenants that rent here if I would of known I would of never rented here ...Waiting for lease to be up..."Don't Rent Here pay a little extra somewhere else before you regret it...

Horrible parking slots this place has around 100 apts and allows 2 cars per house with less parking space i came last night @ 1 am and couldnot find any space i searched it in and out on roads huhhh my bad luck i couldnot find any and parked in reserved my car got towed and i paid $300 to get it back iam really disappointed by this every place should have more parking slots than the no. I wish I could give more stars. I like the area and the apartment, however, customer service is horrendous! We have lived here 6 years and been through countless managers and thus last round by far is the worst. They are non responsive in regards to billing and hardly EVER in the office. We had a hole in our roof for MONTHS during the winter before it was fixed and we have small children. Staff didn't even blink an eye. There is no one further to contact if they are unresponsive which leaves the customer without options. Terrible service!

Very poor customer service the Manager so rude and unprofessional every concerns you have she makes it seem you are asking her for too much .she is never available she lacks of manners

Both myself and my boyfriend have been trying for months and months to find a place to live. Something nice, well kept, good area for our two little ones to grow up in. With not much luck at all. I ran across their ad on craigslist amd I must say Julie Paterson has been extremely helpful and good to us in explaining every step as we go. Great news is we finally have a home at almdamen house. And we couldn't be more excited. From the warm welcoming to the help through all the steps I'm definitely happy with the service we received. THANK YOU Julie for everything!

I've lived here since 2008 and it is now 2016. So for 8 years I've been living here happily. My review is only on the customer service. I had called this place and talked to Shawna. She was very patient, nice and answered my questions in detail. I also met her to see an apt. She was great throughout the whole inquiring process of renting there. She definitely deserves a raise and an award. I've been searching for a place for almost 2 months and she was one of few that were extremely helpful and nice.

I've lived here since April 2010. They had a good special going on for new leases, and I needed to relocate for work - the staff were nice and responsive, in the beginning. However, I am definitely moving out when my lease expires. I would recommend looking elsewhere if you're looking for a peaceful, no-drama, and crime-free area to live in.
