Excellent grounds, management is top notch. Mature and quiet living experience. The maintenance crews' response speed is second to none. Very spacious units with modern design and tons of storage. Close to the airport, nightlife, shopping and major transportation. Great place to live in the San Jose area. Villa Torino is a beautiful community nested in a strategic location in down town San Jose. It is an excellent dwelling for professionals and close to everything you need especially the airport that is 7 minutes away. The maintenance and leasing staff are very responsive to residents' requests

Good apartments but little noisy for the apartments facing north street. The apartments have a lot of storage space. Design for kitchen is the best. Patios are quite big compared to other apartments and one can make good use of this space.

Living here has been good so far just don’t like the fact that I hear foot steps every single time someone walks. Either upstairs, the hallway or the unit next door.

1 Star only for Maritza, the leasing agent at this location, who was amazing and did what she could for us.
We took a tour of this place roughly 2 weeks ago and enjoyed the location, however, we had to cancel our agreement due to the unethical and sleazy management at this location. I would highly recommend not staying here unless you like dealing with below optimal management.
We put down our first month rent + deposit after touring the location and thought we were ready to go. They were only able to hold the apartment for us to move in for a few days and we negotiated a higher rent for a later

The worst place to live in
1. Theft of Amazon packages happens all the time 2. Car break ins are happening all the time and even in the gated garage 3. Mail boxes robberies are happening all the time 4. All valuables from balconies even from 2nd and 3rd floors have been stolen all the time 5. Bikes are never safe there. They will be stolen even… from a safe bike storage room 6. Villa Torino located in really dangerous and disgusting neighborhood. Homeless people are everywhere. Their tents are surrounding apartment complex. Many of them are really aggressive and mentally ill. 7. You will

Charged us for various things after move-out, and we had to pay additionally over the deposit amount for those imposed charges. Staff is sometimes rude when it comes to delivering packages or other things. They failed to present the invoice for each charge when asked for and replied rudely. How can we even believe that you are charging us honestly when you are unable to show the proof.

I am not sure where to start with this. After living here for 2.5 years, I am adjusting my initial review. Moving out has been a nightmare for my wife and I. All they care about is your money and they will try their best to charge you as much as they could possibly get out of you. Even though the apartment was left in good and clean condition, they are still taking all of our deposit and even charging us more. Due to some issues we had to break our lease which is understandable that we had to pay thousands in fees, but to take all of our deposit and charging us more was not expected. There are

I had a really rough go around at Villa Torino. They did not give me any security deposit back, when I left the apartment in perfect condition and I had to leave the area due to COVID, which the management team did not care at all about.
In the time I lived there, the management team was horrible. I had a few packages I needed to pick up 30 minutes before the office closed, and one of the managers was rushing me and frustrated that I was picking my items up close to closing time, because his dog had surgery that week...
I also received calls from the management team that my rent was not paid

Cons
- Very poor management team.
- They will keep your deposit no matter what and charge you even more when you move out.
- They charge you for everything, water, hot water, gas, trash, parking, and a lot of other fees so you should add at least $250 + rent.
- Good look trying to find another parking if you have 2 cars.
- Cars getting broken into all the time, and security is just a joke here.
- Getting packages is almost impossible. You will have to go and get them yourself from the local postal office. My packages are getting lost all the time.
- Everything is about money here and I truly

Would you recommend a community where management doesn’t care about their tenants? A community where management is aware of crimes and thefts committed and they decided to show the contract and reaffirm they… are not willing to do anything to help the residents? Do you want to live in a community where your appliances are downgraded when maintainable is needed? Hell no!!
This place is a nightmare!

Beautiful place to live with friendly office staff and neighbors. The proximity is favorable given the fact it is located on the quite side of downtown (just north of the clubs, bars and restaurants) and is within walking distance of the SAP Arena (Go Sharks!). It's no wonder I've lived here for 15+ years.

Old apartments with less amenities (gym & pool). For the same rent, you can get better and newer apartments in downtown. Though its gated, most of times the doors are not closed. Management didn’t fix this during my 1 year tenure of stay. AC is in living room only. Only best part is large store in patio.

I love living downtown near San Pedro Square. The amenities are great and the staff is awesome. Living on the street side can be rough on the weekends though with the loud late-night traffic.

This is my second year renewing my lease in Villa Torino. I find the community really convenient for someone who needs to live in Downtown San Jose. But it is also relaxing and peaceful for being located in… downtown. It is closed to Caltrain, Light Rail and buses. As well as, great proximity to SAP Center. Amenities are great, swimming pool and jacuzzi are awesome. I'm still waiting for some improvements in the Gym area.

I'd give five stars if it weren't for the leaf blowers. Every weekend, I clean my patio, only to have leaves, dirt and bark blown back onto my patio a couple of days later. All they have to do is blow them to the other side where there are no residents... better yet, rake them into a pile and actually bag them instead of blowing them onto everyone's patio. The sidewalks may be clean but not our patios.

Lived at Villa Torino for almost 2 years now. The staff at the office are helpful and nice. The only complaint I have is if you live next to the bridge towards Coleman it can get a bit noisy due to construction and with the complex being close to the airport. Otherwise, the apartments are very spacious with high ceilings, clean, and maintenance comes through every time.
