Andrew did the most thorough job possible and wasn't in a rush to get the job done so he could move on to his next appointment. Even though he's only required to do sample testing on certain items such as electrical outlets, he didn't do that. He checked every outlet, even the ones that were not easily reached.
Andrew told me the inspection would take about 4 hours to complete, which it did but I was warned by another inspector in the area that this size house should only take 2 hrs and to run the other direction if an inspector is taking 4 hrs to inspect a house of this size. Well, I would run

Andrew is is extremely professional and highly organized. He showed up on time today, spent 3 hours inspecting a house and finished up inspection report right away. He noticed everything that was wrong in the house and gave us a great report so that we could follow-up on all repairs. The inspection report was incredibly thorough, easy to follow, and had great pictures. The inspection was also very reasonably priced. I highly recommend Shied Home Inspection to anyone!

As we live out of state and unable to be present during the inspection, he followed up with us immediately after to recap his findings. He was extremely thorough and answered all of our questions we had. The detailed pictures he sent us were extremely helpful.

My family has used Shield Home Inspection five times. Andrew is very professional. He does amazing work. He takes his time to inspect your house. He digs deep to give you the best overview possible. His prices are very manageable compared to the competition. He is worth every penny. Once the inspection is done he will go over the results with you and give you his opinion and suggestions on findings. He also prints you out copies and a disc of the results right there on the spot. Will definitely keep his services in mind for the future.
