My last year staying here was awful. I had the worst few roomates and block didn’t do anything about it. Left the door unlocked, while someone was shot outside of the apartment earlier this year. Roomate getting an animal more than half way through their lease.
I also had mishaps with my mail the last year in 2020 as well. Gym is super small. Only good thing was the maintenance was on top of our apartment always. The price is cheap but you get what you pay for.

I have been living at Block 43 for three years now and I have never had as many issues as I do now. First they changed to the locks to my unit so when I got back home I could not even get in and when I asked they couldn't even find the key for me to get back in. When I got back in they said they had "inspected" the unit after the previous roommate left but there were still things in the living area of my unit that were broken. I pay for a carport spot because of my busy schedule i come home at crazy times so i want to ensure that i have a parking spot. Time after time unauthorized people have parked

Feel free to move here if you want inattentive staff that can't ever be reached, hangs up on you when you get through on the phone, and takes forever to respond to maintenance issues. Oh and, I forgot, they charge you a full month's rent for the first month in spite of the fact that you move in the middle of the month. You also pay an application fee, move-in fee, and security deposit. You would think that after paying so much, the apartments would be move-in ready.

I have not even moved in yet and my roommates have updated me with these pics and information. The apartment wasn't cleaned at all since the last renters were here. Theres dog hair everywhere on the carpets and in the washer. There was dirty socks and dog toys left in the apartment. The washer is leaking and had mold and roaches under it and the dishwasher has a leak and is flooding. All of my roommates are our parents have been trying to get any staff member to help or at least speak with us and no one will answer a phone or do a thing about it. We had no options of going anywhere else or waiting

Move in day is a HOT MESS. We followed all the instructions and have been waiting 3 hours for a key. They are making keys today - no planning ahead?? - for people who are *not even here* while 20-30 people have been waiting hours for keys.
Also, dozens of parents upset that rooms are filthy - moldy, stained, trash. We haven’t seen my daughter’s room yet. Since we don’t have a key. Hopefully she will have a safe, clean place to sleep tonight.
No management available on site. No one answering phones or emails.

We have been trying to move my son into his first apartment for the past two days. He has a key to the outside door but not to the room in which we have already paid $1500.00 upfront. They have not offered any credit or money back. This really terrible how they have taken our money but are not offering any money or credit bake. They need to offer free rent for two months. They had no problem sending email notice about a deposit and first month rent due before they move into a very nasty place. We are looking for another place and an attorney to address breaking the lease.

If I could give 0 stars I would. This place along with the new management they got is horrible. I was excited to live here and didn't have many problems my first 4 months there. After coming back to school in Jan2021, the problems began. My roommates and I had issues with pests (I have a huge phobia of bugs) and were dismissed about it until my parents got involved, Pest Control once came in my room when I wasn't there (no warning, no nothing from anybody telling me they'd be there) and tossed everything off of my bed onto the floor (my clean laundry that I was folding) and left my room a mess

Definitely love staying here as a college student! Easily can shuttle to campus. Grocery store is only down the street! Staff and community is friendly and timely with getting back with you!

I’m gonna be honest, the first couple of months I moved in I would have given two stars. We had lots of water heater issues and management just didn’t seem to care. We went without hot water for 3-4 days on end and then they would come “fix” it and it would be the same issue again the next day. Since they’ve changed management they have seemed to get better. Our washer wasn’t working for a while so they replaced the whole unit for us. I feel like they seem to be doing more events and are really becoming the environment that I wanted when I moved in. Keep improving!

Lived here for about two years, and I haven't had many complaints. All work orders are answered within the next day or two. The rooms in courtyard are small but you get quite used to it. The privacy of each room is great, huge bathroom. The only complaint I can say is my neighbors are not the best when it comes to properly disposing their trash so there's been issues of horrible smells and bugs when i walk past their apartment. Overall, if I wasn't moving, I would have definitely renewed my lease with them.

Do not live here. Ever. Block 43 has the worse management of all apartment properties in Greensboro for students. It is now day 6 of living in a overpriced townhome with no AC. Emails and calls have be ignored, communication has been terribly poor, and the employees have nasty attitudes.

Out of the 3 applications we submitted for a 3 bedroom cottage, Block 43 managed to mess everyone of these up. Their application system has glitches where you fill the entire application out, submit, get an email that your completed application has been received, only to be told your application didn't go through and you missed out on the short-term lease you applied for. We received calls that our application was missing information and, when we submitted the missing information, nothing was ever done with it. They hang up on you, lie to you and never do what they say they will do when you
