After 25 years in business Andrea is still very involved the day to day operations here at Amazing Edibles. Her focus is customer acquisition, client experience and company culture. Community is of great importance to Andrea and she has served on several boards including Industrial Council of Near West Chicago, Global Citizenship Experience Lab High School, A Children's Place, Cornell College National Alumni Board, and Rivendell Theatre Ensemble.
The Amazing Edibles story begins 25 years ago with the big dream to bring the best food and service to the Chicagoland area. We started small, with only a handful of employees and clients. As the years progressed, each event we catered gave us bigger and better ideas for the future. As our ideas and business grew, so did our staff.
Holiday catering is often available, but depends on many factors including date, time availability, location and what you are looking for. Amazing Edibles was definitely AMAZING! From the beginning, this company was there to answer every question I had and was very helpful in making and changing our proposal. Andrea, Diana, and Hulda were quick to make the changes I requested, up until the night before our wedding! They made our tasting so much fun and it was so hard to decide on what to serve our guests. Everything we tried was so delicious. We heard nothing but positive things throughout the night about how awesome the food was, how amazing the service was, and how great the drinks were. I sent them an email inquiry. They responded with a questionnaire which I immediately filled out and returned. I didn't hear from them for 2 days so I sent another email. They responded and we set up a time for a call. They were supposed to call me at a designated time and they were an hour late. The woman, Andrea, that called me must have been on drugs. She was very high strung and rude. She was upset because I wouldn't let her know what my budget was. Then she got upset because I wanted to choose the food for our party! Apparently, she felt she was supposed to choose the food

We worked with Amazing Edibles for our wedding at the Fairlie. They were amazing!! Sara Ann and Andrea were very responsive and easy to work with. They guided us throughout the planning process beyond just our catering. THE FOOD WAS AMAZING!!! We get compliments about our food months later. It was not your typical wedding food and it was just what we wanted. They can do custom things such as a salsa bar during your cocktail hour which was a major wish for us.

The food and service at my daughters wedding was INCREDIBLE! Guests loved the food! From the passed appetizers to the entrees and desserts all was perfect. Even the late night snacks were a huge hit. The servers and bartenders were great as well. Very helpful and responsive! Even when we arrived two hours before the event, they helped us unload our vehicles that was super helpful!

Planning a wedding during a pandemic comes with a lot of stress but we were so lucky to have had Amazing Edibles as part of our wedding team. They were incredibly understanding and flexible and provided support and guidance along the roller coaster of a year. The staff is polite and the food is good. Unfortunately they didn't budget enough food for our wedding of 170 people. Our last 4 tables were missing up to 4 options from the buffet by the time their table was called.
Update: I have now had many more individuals tell me that food was already gone (8 of 18 tables were missing part of the dinner). Very sad. Would not recommend. And if you go with a buffet regardless of caterer, please check calculations beforehand to ensure there is enough food!!!

My friends hired Amazing Edibles to cater their September 15th wedding. Since I'm an Executive Assistant, I served as the couples day-of coordinator and I worked closely with Sarah and her incredible team for the last month of preparations.

This review is from office use rather than personal. Since AE has become a preferred vendor at my workplace, I decided to try them out for ordering lunches for different departments I support. I was not disappointed! Response time to inquiries is fast, there are so many options for food, and delivery is on time, sometimes early. My coworkers have liked everything they've had so far, from the Amazing Buffet for lunch with different gourmet sandwiches, to the yummy salads. I highly recommend AE for any event!

I have used them for catering events for about 15 years. This Christmas I bought my wife a gift certificate for their cooking class. Andrea also clued me in that if I asked 3 buddies to do the same we could have our own class. Turned out to be a great Christmas gift. All involved loved the idea! Fast forward to this past Saturday. Great customer service and delicious food. For the two events they have catered for me there has been more than enough great food for a very reasonable price. Everyone from the brand evangelists to the delivery staff is friendly, helpful, and delightful to work with.
Definitely going to use them in the future for work events and look forward to trying more of their menu!

Our venue space (Space 1858) has partnered with Amazing Edibles for numerous events. They have always stood out and our guests love working with them. I love having them cater in our space and trust that all will be just as we gave it to them at the beginning of the event. And, mostly, the food is DELICIOUS!
