This place is horrible I was there for one year. They will try and pinch every penny out of you for anything they possibly can. I terminated my lease early and paid a fee for doing so which I was ok with because that was in the contract. After paying that fee, I asked multiple times if I was "all good" and in the clear to move out and be done with this place. They told me every time I asked that I was good and the early termination fee was the last thing. Next thing I know I'm getting a bill for a cleaning fee a couple weeks after moving out. A $300 cleaning when I cleaned the place

Roaches are literally everywhere. When I say everywhere, I mean every single corner of that place. Every time I leave my cup for like 5 minutes, there would be a roach swimming in it. When I wake up, there's a roach crawling next to me. It is also not a quiet neighborhood. You always hear people yelling outside all the time. This is place is depressing.

*DON'T ignore the roach reviews like I did ***
If 0 stars were an option, boy would I chose that. Where do I begin? Cockroaches is probably a good place to start. They are everrrrrywhere in this complex. They're the little kind, and after doing research I learned they actually live in the walls of buildings for decades. They aren't going anywhere. Invest in roach traps, I sure did. I think the second biggest downside of this place is just the security aspect. I thought not having a gate would be fine... nooope. If I had a dollar for every time I woke up to people screaming outside

Still the worst place to live. Roommate was trash even though you applied for a one bedroom and they mistakenly gave you a two bed. The water leaked through my ceiling ruining a $1700 bed which the manager said she'd take care of but never did. I have a friend that lives here that says it's just gotten worst. Anytime they go downstairs the manager seems to be on the phone and will close the door instead of helping you. If you wanna save money, just go ahead and shell out the costs for your own apartment.

Don't live here. Tried to pay for hundreds of dollars in cleaning fees after we cleaned the whole place A LOT then when we tried to pay they weren't answering it saying they couldn't help. Now they want to come demanding payments in the middle of a pandemic when I DONT HAVE A JOB. Yeah okay, heartless people. That's all I have to say.

I have to give a big thank you to the leasing office. I was in a bad situation stuck last minute looking for a place for my son to move in same day due to Gateway being totally incompetent and leaving my son without a place to live. The staff at the Mark moved him into their model within hours to help us out. They were so nice and professional. I really appreciate everything! Reading peoples comments below, I'm not sure about roaches, etc. I just hope that is not the case. I can say I didn't see anything when I was there and my son hasn't said anything to me. A big thank you to The

I have lived here for 3 years and management is at an all-time low. I had BED BUGS and was forced to resolve it on my own dime even though my neighboring unit had them weeks before. I stayed again this year because of location/price/moving furniture sucks..but seriously... save yourself, DO NOT live here. I have encountered 5 different property managers over the years, each one worse than the last. Rent rises without warning, utilities are billed unfairly, and management is the absolute worst I have ever encountered. The laundry rooms don't work. WiFi, hot water, and electricity go out for

I honestly don't even know where to start with this review. I lived at The Mark for three years (definitely not by choice unfortunately) and have never felt so miserable in my life. They have tried to renovate the place to make it seem more appealing. They increased the price of rent and started charging utilities (which were included in rent originally) after their built a pool no one uses. When asked why they needed a "Vegas style pool" the staff said to compete with neighboring communities. Those communities are brand new. The Mark will never be able to complete. They also randomly

I've lived in The Mark for a year and I've had a pleasant experience. Since moving in in the middle of 2018 The Mark has been understanding and very responsive! The office staff is very friendly now and are very helpful when you call or need a package. The maintenance staff is amazing and incredibly fast. My AC went out and was fixed within the same day! The only downside is there are no washer and dryers in unit but they do have paid laundry on the second and third floor.

*****DO NOT LIVE HERE*****
I currently live here. I paid my lease out. I am saying this as a person who understands the frustration of moving across the country. I moved here in August, yet I signed my lease in July. Though I was hesitant to, I signed it. The building is a catfish. On move-in day, I was told I needed to pay a city tax, which was like 14 dollars, so I did. Then, when I was getting my keys to move in, I was told that I needed to pay $30 a month to park my car or I would be able to park on the dirt lot for free. Within the first moments of opening the door, I noticed the room had

Probably the worst place to live as a student in Tempe. If you're looking to save money(which students should be doing) don't be fooled by the low rates. The Nelson Brothers Property Management find every way to screw you over. Your rent taxes aren't shown until the after the 1st and they tell you in the office to pay by the first or you'll be fined but you get fined anyways. They also told us that we could either pay for parking in the paved lot, or we could park in the dirt lot (which was the guest parking lot as well) for free. But now they're renting out the dirt lot

Where do I even begin. Actually, I'll start with the massive infestation of cockroaches since my roommate and I moved into the apartment. None of the doors are sealed from the outside, so bugs of any sort can just crawl into your apartment with absolutely no trouble. We like to keep our place relatively clean, and no matter how clean we keep our living space, they never seem to stop coming.

I lived at The Mark from August 2015 - July 2017. The first year I didn't have any significant problems besides one of my neighbors constantly playing loud music. The next year, I got almost all of my clothing stolen from the laundry room. My clothes were stolen at 6 am on a Saturday after the security guards had left - they could not show me the security tapes until Monday at 6 pm. The homeless person who stole my clothes continued to walk around the complex after she stole my belongings. There is very little security and homeless people search around the complex for places to sleep or steal

For the longest time I have tried to give this place the benefit of the doubt. I really liked the physical apartment, however if you have to vacate early they make it seem like it's very easy to sublease and that they will help fill your apartment but they do not. Understandably, there is a clause in the lease which states that the renter is responsible for filling the apartment.
That being said, I have never received such terrible customer service in my life. I moved out early and accepted that I would be stuck in my lease for the remainder of the contract I signed. Management has since
