Right after college, I was living in a small beach front apartment in San Diego. I figured that like me, my fellow recent college graduates were not looking forward to going back to their respective cubicles on Monday. We decided to enjoy a pizza night on Sunday and extend the weekend.
I told my friends that I had dough and beer for everyone and that they should invite interesting friends and join the fun with toppings to make their favorite pizzas.My roommate had a lot of international friends and each week new and old friends showed up to make some unique pizzas. I remember many amazingly fun evenings with friends gathered around making pizza and enjoying each other's company.

Making fresh pizza has been our passion since 2014. We love to share our clients special occasions and see the smiles as the guests eat wood-fired pizza. This year we had a 1st birthday party and an 80th birthday party and many in between. Graduation parties have been a hit as well as weddings and many more ways to enjoy pizza at social gatherings in San Diego and beyond.

Wow pizza doesn't get any better than this! Sean and his partner pulled into our lot at work and set up for lunch. In no time he had his pizza oven turning out phenomenal pizzas for our entire office. If you haven't had a wood fired pizza you don't know what you are missing!!

Yea, you could have Chipotle catered ORRRR you could have Sean come to your house with a retrofitted truck bed with an 800 degree wood fired pizza oven on top of it and take you for a culinary ride!!!
No butane burners here, everything cooked fresh in front of your eyes. The only thing that isn't prepared on site is the super secret pesto sauce which I highly recommend.
Had a birthday party for my wife and it was an absolute hit. We have 3 young kids so being able to get some authentic neopolitain pizza without leaving home was great. We were short a table, he had one, he brought some

Sean made pizza for about 20 of us. He was punctual, friendly, and the pizza was top notch. Great thin crust and fresh quality toppings; real Neapolitan style if you want but he can add more toppings for a more American version (nothing like Costco, not that Costco is bad but this is the real deal). Hand tossed and customized. He brought many more toppings than we initially planned for and they are all great. Fresh pineapple and roasted garlic even. Try it if you like Italian pizza!

The Pizza was excellent. For our 1st get together post Covid, this was special!
Sean and Angel were great pizza makers, very easy to work with and professional. And most of all very personable.
Sean arrived on time and ready to roll.
All of my guests were amazed at the quality of the pizza and loved the variety and LOVED the crust. A job well done.

I threw my friend a birthday party recently and brought in Pacific Pizza to cater. Sean and his crew were great! They were there when they said they'd be to prep and were super upbeat the whole time. LOVE LOVE LOVE Pacific Pizza! These guys rock. Tasty ingredients and hand tossed dough, what more could you ask for?! Nice, thin crust pizza that will leave you wanting even more. I asked my six year old a while back if she wanted to get pizza for dinner. She answered "No! I don't like pizza anymore... except Sean's pizza. He cooks it perfectly".
Suffice to say, she now only eats pizza if we go to see "Pizza Sean" at Groundswell. What can I say?... she has a discerning palette.

The guys here are super nice. Price is $11 for a 10-11 inch pizza. The pizza quality is fine, but not special in anyway. Bronx, Pizza Port, Basic, Luigis are all better. This might be below CPK but above Oggi's and Sammy's.
The problem is that it is not filling or flavorful. The sign of a good crust is one that you hold up and it doesn't flop around, this one goes flaccid instantly.

I ran into this Artisan Pizza Baker at the Helix Brewery, a place I like to frequent a lot, shh...
I ordered the pepperoni, sausage, and red onions with a red sauce thin crust pizza for what I think was around $10, but it could of been $11. I can't remember give I was at a brewery. Anyways, the pizza was delicious. It was a little uneven baked, with some burnt crust ends but it was no biggie.
The sauce was tasty and not to overwhelming. It provided a good light tomato flavor. The toppings were all good and I especially liked the semi spicy pepperoni slices. The ground sausage was good yet

I love Pacific Pizza!! Sean brings his awesome oven to the Groundswell Brewery in the Mission Valley / Grantville every Wednesday.
Yesterday, I ordered a Capetown and Pesto combination pizza. Sean's pesto for the day was a cilantro and lemon pesto, so bright and yummy! With the addition of the Capetown spices, peperdew peppers and sausage, it makes a great combination if you love flavor that just bursts in your mouth. If you like a little heat, then add pepper flakes.
The crust is thin and light, and the cheese is not overwhelming. Add the great customer service and reasonable price
