Your pet is an important part of your family, and when he or she is ill, you want the best medical care available. The veterinarian and staff at our clinic are ready to provide your pet with cutting edge veterinary medical care. From wellness exams and vaccines to advanced diagnostics and complex surgical procedures, your dog or cat will receive high quality care at our hospital.
To allow ample time for all patients and scheduled surgical procedures, we operate primarily by appointment. Emergency cases shall always receive priority, which is why occasional appointments may be delayed. Please understand that we make a sincere attempt to see each client on time. For your protection, and that of others, all dogs must be on a leash and properly controlled while in the waiting area or exam rooms.

Made an appointment and forgot the new patient form (a non-fillable form on their website - how lazy can they be) and his med records.
They wouldn’t start his exam without it (even though round trip to my home is 10 minutes including go into into and out of house). They did offer to fill in form, but that’s semi-worthless without his vaccination record which was at my home.
Owners never called upon my request to know why they think it’s smart to lose over $400 for this visit and subsequent visits.

Critical: Professionalism, Quality, Reliability, Responsiveness, Value
We got out new puppy Cookie and she needed to be checked out and get shots. I made a 10AM appointment. I got there 9:45. They had me waiting for over 50 minutes until I pulled off, then they decided to call me in for my appointment. If you like dealing with people that don't respect your time or value your business then be my guest.

Dr. Cronin and his dedicated and friendly staff are truly an asset to pet families on Long Island. As a vet myself with a limited mobile practice, I help a number of families who utilize multiple clinics along the island and when it comes to personalized, safe care, Bellmore Vet Hospital is amongst a client favorite! During Covid, this team is doing all they can for the safety of their clients. He is an extremely dedicated and hands on vet who is realistic and in this business for his passion for helping animals. I highly recommend Dr. Cronin and his wonderful team!!

Dr. Cronin is amazing! He has been my dog's Dr since he was about a year old and has guided and helped us for the last 15 years. He's very knowledgeable, kind, caring and will do what's best for your pet, even when that means it's end of life. He is compassionate and patient. I've heard people complain that his office should be opened longer but you don't know what else he does and how many other pets that he's helping when he's not in Bellmore and with that said, he's worth the wait anyway. He has a great staff and they are perfect in every way. I highly recommend Dr. Cronin and Bellmore Veterinary
