Updating again to remove another star. If you are elderly or immune suppressed, consider not living here. They refuse to enforce mask mandates at all. Posting signs is the most management is willing to do.

Love'n the Milton's! Great staff! They are always there to help the residents and are speedy in their responses. The apartments are fully updated with stainless appliances and storage space beyond comprehension! If you need extra space to store your stuff the Milton Apartments got you covered! They also have nice ementaties, like a club house gym, pool and social friendly courtyard area. They are pet friendly in 2 of their building and have a mini dog park. It is a great place to live!

We love our Milton apartment. The maintenance staff is always responsive and quick to solve anything. The amenities are excellent as well as the location. Office staff is friendly and available to answer any questions. Very clean and well organized community we love to call home!

Today I witnessed Chauncey, one of the members of the leasing office, tending to a woman who had falled off of her bike. Being a paramedic myself, I rushed over to see if I could offer any assistance.Chauncey had it handled!! He was assisting the woman with his gloves on and two first aid kits! He had wrapped her finger, applied antibiotic ointment and multiple bandages! I feel he went above and beyond to help a member in our community. I have always said that we have the most competent, caring and efficient maintenance team dad I have witnessed in my 70 years of existing. They have never walked out of my home not fixing what was wrong or having a plan to get it fixed.

They didn't turn up for inspection, charged $90.00 as a cleaning fee and then tried to fleece $600.00 for a cooking smell??? Guess what I work 5 days a week and hardly ever cook. Be warned.

Honesty living here was so wonderful The aparments are amazing. Big and spacious. We lived in a 2 bedroom, with 1 bath. But it had a double shower and double sink! AMAZING!
Its very quiet and the people that live there are nice and friendly. They just added an amazing common area with a fire pit. Outdoor TV screen, lots of games and upgraded the whole pool area. Its awesome!

The management is actually very nice. Chauncey is da bomb!
Megan is very nice.

My biggest complaint, is actually more of a warning!!! Make sure they are charging you for your utilities! They didn't charge us for utilities

I would highly recommend not moving here. But if you do move here be prepared to live with...1) routine water shut off at least two or three times a month. This ongoing project seems to have no end. 2) completely incompetent onsite manager - the leasing agent is really kind however and he is the one who seems to care about the residents. I have nothing good to say about the manager. 3) social distancing is definitely optional here. You'll routinely see kids and lazy parents engaging in social gatherings at the club house and in the gym, breaking the community guidelines on a daily basis even

Loved the Milton, staff was great! I enjoyed living here and had a good deal with my 2 bedroom apartment. The only reason why I give it 1 less star is due to the fact that they had major constructions including a flood in my building that wasn't handle very well during that time. But overall I would recommend this apartment in Vernon Hills. I was just bored in the suburbs that's why I moved out.

I love living here! Moved here from Gurnee with my boyfriend. He plays baseball so he is gone most of the year so the fact we could get a 6 month lease was perfect. We love our apartment, we love the facilities, and we love the staff.

If you're expecting luxury when you move here, THINK AGAIN. This place is a complete mess! The staff NEVER answers your phone calls when you need them and maintenance is a joke! The property is constantly being renovated and is noisy. The front office makes NO EFFORT to let you know about changes in advance. My last straw with this place was when they turned my water off without letting me know in advance (EVEN THOUGH I SELECTED TO RECEIVE EMAILS). Imagine coming home using the bathroom, and then not being able to flush the toilet or wash your hands! Then imagine you trying to call the office

My husband and I have lived here since March 2018. We are incredibly happy with the location, the very spacious apartment, the responsiveness of the management, and the very nice amenities. Our 1 year old daughter loves the pool and I love the clean, landscaped courtyard with a grill and fire pit. The people that live in these buildings are so nice and really diverse from young professionals, families with children, retirees, and everyone is so friendly and helpful.

We watched the building management switch from amli to Milton seamlessly and are very pleased with how communicative the staff has

Don't move here! Constant construction & noise. No projects ever finished. Garbage receptacles only available a few days a week. They approve anyone. Security doors constantly propped open. Office staff: no follow through, won't answer phones when they don't feel like it, not helpful, insolent, disrespectful.

The apartments look good on the outside. Unfortunately, this management team is more focused on policy and their own convenience than renter satisfaction.

In under a year since this ownership took over they have

1) towed my second vehicle without warning.
2) took up renovation of my floor and left it with plastic on the carpet and partially painted for over a month.
3) They do not allow package to door delivery. This necessitates driving to the club house, navigating 2 doors, loading up a cart and then filling your trunk with your packages to drive back to your apartment, unload to a cart and
