Pete Missed the 4 rotting railings on my porch, the a/c unit was complete trash and he green lighted it. (A week into the house it broke. 9k repair). He talked the entire time rather than inspecting. Missed wires sticking out of the ground around the property. All in all I would have expected a professional inspector would have caught these things. Would not recommend homescope

Pete inspects 95% of my clients homes and does a fantastic job. He is very honest and tells myself and my clients exactly how he sees it. Pete does a very thorough inspection and provides a full report online with pictures and descriptions of the issues. It is very user friendly. He has also inspected 2 of my personal homes. Pete has been in the business 25 years and has seen almost everything but the best aspect is IF he is not completely sure on something he calls the right people who do know. He is definitely one to provide answers even after the inspection. He has called the county, plumbers

Pete has done at least 4 inspections for us over the years and we wouldn't trust anyone else to give us an honest assessment of a prospective purchase. He's thorough but very down-to-earth and not an alarmist like many inspectors can be. Highly recommend!

I used Homescope Inspection Services for my home and radon inpections when I purchased a 10 year old condominium in Haymarket Virginia during the summer 2017. Pete was very professional, courteous, prompt and thorough in performing the home inspection. Because Pete is extremely experienced in the business, he found several deficient conditions that were overlooked by the previous owner. I was really glad to get the previous owner to resolve these issues before closing. It was also great that I could get the home radon inspection accomplished through Homescope as well which greatly simplified the

Pete was unprofessional and even got to the point being rude after I told him that me and my wife were the ones who found 90% of the problems in the house he was inspecting for us. Do not take his word and do the inspection with someone else. All kinds of leaks appeared after we moved into the house that he said was fine except for the roof that needed to be replaced. The dishwasher leaked which damaged the basement ceiling and bathroom leak damaged the dining room ceiling both after the first use so I don't know what kind of "full cycle" he ran when we were there. The washing machine had actual
