I absolutely LOVE this apartment complex! It's so beautiful and the amenities are GREAT! They have a huge onsite gym, a sauna, tanning bed, fire & BBQ pit, jacuzzi and pool area for all their residents. The rooms are big, each with their own bathrooms and A/C units so you can control the temperature in your own room. And the rooms are beautifully furnished! They pay for water, internet, and give each roommate a $25 credit towards electricity. No parking fee! And you don't have to be a student to rent here! The only down side is if you choose a unit with 4 roommates, they only supply one fridge

While the appearance from the outside is nice, please do not be fooled because everything that glitters is not gold. This neighborhood has caused me and others more harm than good and even after voicing concerns, the multiple changes and management etc. There has still been no change to how poorly operated this place is. If you want a true quality living experience free of hassle, incoherent staff and a community that truly cares about students living in the area then I would seek housing anywhere but here. The office staff is extremely difficult, maintenance is intrusive/unprofessional (also did

The rooms and apartment are already a mess the day you walk in, they give you a move in paper but there’s to many problems with the apartments. the houses always have this nasty smell you can’t remove from the carpet no matter how many times they clean it. And most importantly the staff is terrible literally useless and have the worst attitude, most the time they are busy making tiktoks and videos rather than help. And they give you attitude as soon as you have a complaint about anything, like you’re wasting their valuable time they could’ve spent making tiktoks. Don’t get me wrong the

This is the worst apartment complex especially if you are a visitor of friends that live their. They will boot or tow your car without even giving a warning first and they do it on home game nights knowing the students that live their will have friends over, also knowing how much of a profit they can make off these kids. I am so glad my student does not live there and never will. I would not recommend this place to anyone. I did not want to give it even one star but it would not let me post this without it. Oh and I am reporting them to the better business bureau.

I haven’t had the worst experience at Arcadia compared to so many other concerning stories. Which i assume is because I didn’t chose a furnished apartment. They have nice amenities and apartments but you can tell the “fixing” of things in the apts aren’t done correctly. You can see so many things wrong with the walls especially in the bathrooms. In the living room/rooms you can see all the holes that were just painted over. Our microwave is rusted in the inside as well as the bathroom sink knob. We were pressured to renew our lease at the beginning of the year since “prices were going

Tl;Dr unsafe for multiple reasons, gross/poor management, etc.
SAFETY:
I have hated it here. The whole thing is a farce. They charge you more because it's supposed to be "safe" but a gated community means nothing when the gate is always open or you can call the front desk and get the gate code no questions asked. Once the gate opens five cars can drive through before it closes, so people who don't live here will sit their car at the gate and drive in when someone who does live here triggers the gate.
I've had issues with the HVAC people trying THREE TIMES to come into

Their business office there is absolutely horrible. Just remember if you change your mind and can't send your student there due to any reason at all period they will not let you out of the lease. They couldn't care less only greedy after the money and taking advantage of these poor students. They also don't tell anyone coming in that they had a serious black mold problem a couple years back which is another reason I do not want my daughter living there and the fact it backs right up to not safe areas where you' would not want your students to be walking around due to crime

I co-signed for my child’s first year there. Only three months into the first year they began pressuring them to resign a second lease or the price would go up. This was a full 7 months before the lease was up. My kid felt pressured to sign. I didn’t not re-cosign however they now have me listed as the co-signer for the second lease. I tried to explain I never signed and they didn’t care. Now there is a pandemic and my kid and I are on the hook for an apartment in another city however she has no classes on campus due to COVID. They are also unwilling to follow the North Carolina law (Isbey

This is a student living apartment complex so I expected some wear and tear.
But I didn't expect there to be many more problems that came with living here....
To start, everyone gets a gate sticker on move in, my gate sticker was not activated. I went to the office 6 different times trying to get help... it took 6 separate trips to the office and 8 months later that I got a new sticker.
As far as the appliances in the apartment go, we had a moldy dishwasher. Something went wrong with our oven causing it to smoke up, when the maintenance attendant showed up he told me to "fix it myself".

I’ve only been here for a week today and we had a furnished apartment. Walked in and there was no furniture. We didn’t get a bed until the day after move in. We just got our couch yesterday (6 days after move in) and we are still waiting on dressers, desks, night stands, dining room table, chairs, and coffee table. We were told 3 different days that we were going to get our furniture and never got it on those days. When you call about it they never know when we will get the furniture. The place was very dirty so I doubt that their “professional cleaners” even cleaned. When you fill out

To a younger student it would appear to be a perfect living environment. That's not what it's like at all. Our son moved in there last year and has had several issues. First on move in day they gave him keys that let him into the apartment but not into his room . We had to go find someone to open his door and to my knowledge he still doesn't have a key to his room.
He has also witnessed drug deals and fights from his bedroom window. Just this week, his car broke down in our driveway at home. He took my car to the beach, then came home, bought a new car and went back. He left his

They've never been kind to their residents in anything but words. Refused to give gate stickers for months to my friends after they stopped working. Our dryer has been broken for two years and they refuse to replace it. They towed me out of my paid parking spot and made me pay for it. They lost my mail, told me to my face, and denied it the next two months. Management has no compassion, consideration, or kindness for any of the residents. If you want somewhere that won't inevitably cause you problems, then look elsewhere.

The students have been in their apartments for 2 weeks and zero internet. It states internet is included in the rent. The front office doesn't respond to emails, phone calls or maintenance requests. Good luck getting anything fixed. Worst management ever! But...they will put you on a list?!?! A list for what? They knew before the students moved in that the internet wasn't working. Do you think they planned ahead and fixed it? NO!!!

If I could give this apartment complex zero stars I would. Absolutely do not sign here. The staff and management are absolutely horrible and don't want to help at all. If you go to them with a question they act as if they are too good to answer. Management from day one is the absolute worst. The staff are college students who hate their jobs and it shows in how the handle business. The front gate was broken for at least two months when I got here in August as well as my roommates and I waited two months before we got our tv. On top of that, when locals come and destroy our property us residents

I currently live here and I will say that the management has gotten a lot better than what I read in previous reviews. However, they still have a lot to pick up on. My roommates and I didn't have mattresses when we first moved in and were forced to sleep on the floor, couches were disgusting, but Arcadia replaced them for us. The gate wasn't working for the first 3 months, but now is. The bus shuttle runs well but the lady in the morning shift leaves campus earlier than scheduled which caused students like me, who rely on the Arcadia bus time time schedule, forced to take Uber's

Here's the thing, I know there are rules to follow for any organization. However, disrespect and awful customer service is causing me to leave this review. Up until this point I hadn't had any problems with the staff or any other complaints. I'm interning this summer, working 9-5 everyday. I'm transferring to another apartment on site. Our transfer date is on a Wednesday. I called, requesting that I start to transfer my belongings over earlier due to me not being able to get that day off work (it's the last week of my internship and I have presentations to give throughout

The worst apartment complex around. They have terrible mold problems, mice issues and Nickel and dime you for everything possible. They did not help with any of the issues I had and simply shrugged their shoulders when I had mice in my clean apartment. Getting someone to take over my lease was a huge pain and the head managers in the office had no idea what they were doing and left the students working there to figure it out on their own.

Awful living conditions. My son moved in a year ago and has consistent issues. Half of the community is closed due to the ground beneath the buildings collapsing. This is includes all the "extra" amenities and fun stuff like the pool and club house that have been closed for well over 9 months and is not expected open again until August 2017. And, most recently there was confirmation of black mold in the air vents in what I guesstimate to be about 75% of the property or all of the buildings on right half of the property. Please do avoid this place like the plague. There are better, safer
