I have been a resident at this complex since April. I have to say I love my apartment, the amenities are great as well as it being completely gated. The office workers have been very nice and as helpful as they could be, from what I'm told, their service is a big upgrade from previous workers.
My only two issues are dealing with maintenance and the way issues get resolved. I've been having AC issues since move in, the unit will freeze over and stop working occasionally. One particular time, maintenance was sent over while I was away from my home and my door was left WIDE OPEN with the spare office

I lived at Alpha Mills for a little over a year and I recently moved out. Alpha mills was the worst apartment complex I have ever lived in. With endless bug issues, loud neighbors, and slow maintenance, this was not the place for me. My first month living there I had several issues - we were promised full hard wood floors downstairs but we moved into a fully carpeted townhouse, I had to speak with the manager (Chris) several times to get that changed. Been at AlphaMill for 4 years and although it has changed over time, the baseline experience was pretty much always the same: a friendly staff that kept the property nice and quickly attended to maintenance. Great value here with ample space, nice finishes and enjoyable amenities. Chris the property manager is easy to work with and really cares about the resident experience.

Have had nothing but poor experiences over the past 12 months living at Alpha Mill. It began by needing to move from our first apartment after about a month, due to lack of security and a severely unsafe living situation. The office staff were extremely rude and unhelpful, providing only the option to move to a new apartment and pay more. My roommate and I agreed to that, as we wanted to be able to sleep at night and feel safe. They hired security for a few months after we complained, then security was no where to be seen. I’ve lived here for almost 5 years. For the first 3 I was constantly searching for better apartments in the same price range and you just can’t fine any. The amenities are what has kept me here really but now there are positive changes occurring that the naked eye can see. We can now use the wifi in the gym(big plus to not be draining your data to work out I’d say). “Biggest pool in uptown” is not an understatement. Thank you to the management team over at alpha mill for caring about the community and the residents.

I lived here for almost two years and while most of the staff was nice and helpful, the manager Chris would always blame me and my roommate for their own problems because we were younger tenants. This complex also has a bad cockroach and mold problem that was not fixed the whole time I lived there. I would also notice homeless people running inside the gate when I would pull in and ask for money. They also try to charge you for every possible fine when moving out even when we spent multiple days scrubbing and cleaning the entire apartment to ensure we would not get fined. I would not recommend

I have had my indifferences with this apartment complex. However, I do believe the new management is trying to work out previous flaws I have experienced the past year.
1). My issues with maintenance were they could be slow at times. I had a ceiling that poured water into my living room every time it rained for about 7 months before they were able to fix it, and the security gate for the parking lot always seemed to be broken down.
2). Be careful to read the contract. There is a 60 day period before you the end lease date that you must tell management that you are planning on leaving, otherwise

I've lived at Alpha Mill for about 6 months after just moving to Charlotte and this apartment complex is amazing! The staff/management makes it 1 million times better. They are SO nice and do their best to help with everything and anything. Lacey and Chris have helped me with so many things and they are always so kind and understanding. Safety measures have increased just in the time I've bee here and the gated community is amazing. Absolutely love living here!

It takes a lot to write a 4 star review but it's worth it. I moved to Charlotte 2 years ago from the Midwest and rented this apartment sight unseen just from pictures. The options are vast in Charlotte but it was the staff and the apartment that earned 5 stars.
First of all, this complex is dead quiet. I never hear my neighbors. That is a huge blessing. Maintenance requests were few but when I had them, they came quickly and professionally.
The front office staff is amazing. Chris in particular is kind and helpful, always.

My overall experience has been terrible. I was interested in this complex because the location was fantastic. When I toured, I liked what I saw… but upon living here, I realize that it is very poorly constructed and not worth the money. There are way too many options in the Uptown area to settle for sub-par. The staff is the most unimpressive and… unprofessional people I have ever had to deal with. They were polite and helpful at first, but the moment you have an issue or a question – they could care less, this includes the manager. There has been a huge amount of turnover in
