We stayed in the cheapest room, the small studio. I thought we would sacrifice comfort and be The furthest room from the ocean. I was so excited that our room was 4 rooms from the beach. The pictures do not do it justice. The room was very clean. It's much bigger than the picture shows. Two of us were very comfortable. The bed was pretty comfortable. The sheets were clean. The comforter was new. We spoke with Christine, the girl that cleaned the room. She gave us a suggestion on a place for dinner. I found the staff friendly and helpful.

It's right on the beach, so the location is great. The center of town and Pier are a mile down the road, so you'll need to drive or spend 15-20 minutes walking.
Our room had a Murphy queen bed, full size futon, full kitchen and bath. I don't understand the need for a Murphy bed, but it was comfortable. The futon mattress was not comfortable for sleeping, it's cushioning is worn down.
There are beach lounge chairs for motel guest use, so no need to bring your own. There is a large heated indoor pool with bathrooms and a shower.
All in all, I would stay here again.

Locking and unlocking the room was a challenge. The room was VERY VERY VERY small for 3 people. We stayed back in May sorry for the late review . Very EXPENSIVE for 2 nights for 3 people over $500.00 for the weekend . The railing was VERY VERY wobbly. Stair very very steep to climb with stuff in your hands. There were nail sticking up on the deck (tripping hazard) when you walked on the deck it felt like you were going to fall through. Room need a up date. The only good thing was the view of the ocean but not over $500.00 worth. Will be staying some place net time. AGAIN THE ROOM WAS VERY VERY

I’m very disappointed with our last stay at the ocean walk hotel! The A/C unit in our room is full of mold and we didn’t realize this until both of or children got and are still very sick, witch prompted me to investigate the air condition unit and noticed the vent and filter are covered in black mold!! I let the man at the front desk know what was going on and he could careless. The house keeper told me they haven’t been replaced in the 12+ years she has worked there, I did a little asking around and mostly every a/c is full of mold there. I understand the location is good, but the upkeep

Great location, very affordable. The rooms are ok.. we stayed in unit 314. The bathroom is in need of a makeover. The tub unit shows stress cracks from wear, the grout around the tub unit is cracked and the drop ceiling shows water stains and rust. Adding a bathroom fan to this unit would be a very positive upgrade. Kitchen was nice, cupboards all look brand new! Very quiet in the room despite all of the foot traffic outside on a busy weekend! Would stay here again. I do have to admit it’s strange that it says no pets on the website... we saw at minimum 5 guests that had dogs in their rooms.
