Aspire 349 is an alright place to live, IF you never have any issues. Issues are never resolved and not handled professionally. Our fridge has been broken for several months and when they send someone to “FIX” it it works for a couple weeks at max before breaking again. Our complaints have not been handled seriously. We have have had it looked at probably around 10 times and they still can’t seem to fix it. It has cost us money at this point, to continually throw away groceries. The rent is way to expensive to deal with reoccurring problems such as these. If you ever want to have friends

Do not rent from this community unless you want your guest being towed away every time they visit. There are approximately 20 visitors parking spaces for the entire community. Maintenance never fixes anything and good luck on getting any answers to your questions because nobody ever knows the answers. Heed my warning and save you and your guests the headache and the $134.00 towing fee.

Too many changes of stories during our stay. Was told one thing on move in and another when it was time to move out. Charged for an entire extra month that we weren't even allowed to live there. Their excuse is "we don't know what our old staff told you". Charged extra fees that were not communicated upfront when specifically asked. They don't return phone calls until you reach out to their corporate office. No loyalty to tenants that have always paid full amount and on time. Staff tells the college kids one thing but changes the story when parents get involved.

Lived there from fall 2018 until spring 2019. I signed another year lease thinking I would be in Wilmington for another year. Things didn't go the way I planned so I had to find someone to sublease. After finding one, my former roommate "decided" she didn't want to live with a male even though the office had said everything was good to go. I… unfortunately had to tell him "too bad, sorry" and find a female. I emailed the office manager, manager below her, and spoke to everyone in the office trying to figure out what to do. I was told something different each time and the office manager wasn

Update to my previous review. A yelp response was sent to me by a Jennifer from Aspire 349 stating that she wanted to talk to me to resolve the issue. She never called. I called back in to Aspire and reached Victoria who is the manager. She said she did not know who Jennifer was. But that she herself had reached out to me. (She did not. I have been waiting.) And she did not know who this Jennifer is.
But the long and short of the conversation with Victoria was the same response, 'Well, you signed it."
It is a 40 pg lease! I would never knowingly sign for something that is more than

I'm so glad that I can finally say that I am officially moved out of this apartment. The only good thing that came from this apartment was the maintenance staff was always super nice and efficient. I read the reviews on Carolina cove before moving in, and thought that since there was new management it couldn't be that bad. Parking was also a complete nightmare all of the time there's never enough visitors spots, and the tow truck is constantly circulating through the lot picking up cars. When I moved into this apartment my carpets were not new and had stains and rips in them. I marked

I will be thankful to everyone at Aspire 349 for going to bat for me and helping me get out of a bad living situation that was very unexpected. I wasn't supposed to move to a new unit for a few weeks and when my situation worsened, the process was sped up so I could move in as soon as possible. Shelby & the maintenance guys made sure the unit was… in good condition as well as checked up on me afterwards. They cared about my well being and helped me more than they know. Every time I come into the office, they are always kind and they all know my dog Clover and treat him like family. I

DO NOT RENT FROM HERE!
Place claims to be a "gated community" but gates are always either broken or always open. Never any visitors parking because of the open gates, people come from other apartments to park here. Security is never here, they are here only during certain times which they just sit in their cars on their phones. There has been people messing with cars, breaking into apartments.. etc. They don't do anything because there are no cameras. I am ending my lease 4 months early because of these issues and more . :))))

FUTURE RENTERS BEWARE! My son moved into Aspire in August 2018. I signed his lease back in February 2018 because the Aspire people recommended we do that to guarantee him an apartment. When we went for orientation at UNCW in June, they still had plenty of available apartments, as did they when he finally moved in..Only difference is they were… renting for less than I am paying! Okay, no biggie …..who really ever knows how fast apartments will rent in the long run, right.
When we first visited Aspire they bragged about how secure the complex was, how they had gates to keep non residents

Worst place to ever live! Waited 3 months for management to approve work orders. There’s constantly glass in the parking lot. They advertise as a “gated community” but the gates are always broken and never… locked. In the past 6 months there has been numerous deaths. The workers up front talk about your personal CONFIDENTIAL information and management just says “you have no proof” and does nothing about their crappy employees. The lights outside the apartment doors never come on at dark like they should to make it safe. They have dogs that attack other dogs
