Worst. Stay. Ever. This was the most expensive hotel room I have ever purchased aside from in London and in Greece. I would have expected if the mini fridge needs to be “reserved“ that should have been… mentioned, but for the hundreds of dollars we paid for one night, the mini-fridge should have been included. No microwave. No mini-fridge. No, the pool is not heated. Best of all, there is no patio space unless you’re on the ground space level and there’s a couple chairs outside your door. They advertise a “patio space” for double queen rooms which does

We were staying at the Paradox, which is a Marriott hotel and for convenience sake, came down to Solaire. It wasn't busy on a Friday night, I feel only guests come here. The menu is quite small, about a dozen choices between appetizers and hand held entrees. They did have specials as well as a full bar and draft list.
The special flatbread we got was a pretty basic pepperoni cheese flatbread. The sausage was good though! Just not that big of an app. The burger was average. The fries were salty but crispy and potatoey. I got the grilled cheese which I would not recommend. It came with tomato

I was pleasantly surprised to see the hotel pool bar was open. I guess it's not normally open due to covid. It was open for another private event, but they were still serving hotel and pool guests which was awesome. The cocktails were so tasty! Jeff and Rainbow were awesome, and they made some tasty drinks. I was in town for a funeral, not so great, but they both made me smile. Felt nice to sit in the sunshine with great drinks while talking to the friendly staff. Wayne, the chef, was also outside chatting with them and he too was very kind. Thanks to Flavia and Rainbow for helping us find a warm and inviting venue for an outdoor evening meeting! Our spot around the fire pit with heaters, drinks, and sandwiches plus access to the cozy cabana was perfect. Great service + safe/comfortable social distancing! We miss the full menu but appreciate having the bar service, looking forward to our next event. Thanks!

My department came to Solaire for our lunch meeting during our day long retreat at Hotel Paradox.
The restaurant has both an upscale indoor seating area and nice furniture outside with a pool and fireplace. I found the atmosphere quite nice for larger groups, families, yet still private enough in areas for solo travelers or couples.
Their "All-Day" menu features an array of western choices including salads, sandwiches, and even poke bowls. The kitchen had prepared everything for us in advance which was smart given our large group. I had their Salmon Poke ($18) which substitutes rice

Hotel Paradox was chock full of good news and great service, from check-in all the way through our final hours there at the pool. By far the highlight of our time there though, was the breakfast at Solaire, the restaurant inside the hotel. Kristy, our waitress, was simply the best.
Speaking of the best...I eat like a 7 year old with no adult supervision, so I constantly seek out simple foods like my go-to breakfast; the bacon sandwich with some form of potato and a gallon of coffee. Because bacon is amazing as a general rule, I've never really had a "best" bacon sandwich the way

The hotel and meeting rooms are nice. I really love the random nature spaces! The main restrooms are far outdated. The doors barely close; the seats are yellowed and skewed to the side; the TP holders are two different kinds. One like in a public high school and the single ones are so close to the floor you can't get the tissue out of them without wiping the floor.
The restaurant, food, service, and staff are EXCELLENT!! The people employed here are what truly saved the place and gave it a 4-star.

The best service I have had at a hotel restaurant. Ever. And I am a 100+ night/year, Platinum Premier, etc...hotel person.
I honestly cannot get over how much attention our server gave us and how everyone at the restaurant was truly invested in our well being and satisfaction.
