I felt like home. I stayed at The Hinds Victorian Guest House while my new apartment is being available.
This is a gem. A full size kitchen with everything available. You only need your groceries. It is a very well organized system. Spotless clean. The common rooms are full of history with beautiful antique furniture. The common rooms are big enough you can still have your own privacy. My Bedroom was so comfortable with plenty of room. I slept so well.
I loved this place. I want to come back for a stay vacation.

I just completed a 10 day stay at the Hinds House in December 2015. This is the place that I have been searching for. I've been coming to Santa Cruz about 6 to 8 times a year for more than 20 years, I've stayed everywhere! This is now my favorite. Why? 1. Location. Location. Location. 2. Really like the access to use the kitchen since eating out every meal becomes a chore. 3. Enjoyed visiting with other people as we pass in the kitchen, dining room, or parlor. 4. Brian and Megan came immediately to solve the one problem that I called about. 5. Everything is so organized. (Someone

Stayed here for a week long staycation in downtown. This is a hidden gem of a place. The property is beautiful. The historic architecture is a constant source of joy and wonder. The large common rooms are perfect for longer stays as you don't want to spend all your time in your room. Here, you can spread out and relax in some of the most beautiful rooms anywhere. The location is just right-on the edge of downtown and a short walk to everything. The kitchen is big, light and fully stocked which saved me from eating out every meal. I met some of the coolest people staying here, some were

On my last visit to Santa Cruz, the room I was in at the Adobe on Green Street had a problem; since the Adobe was full they put me up in their other property - the Hinds Victorian Guest House. Although I was bummed that I couldn't stay at the Adobe (I love this place!), the Hinds was pleasant surprise. It's like stepping back in history. The furniture and architecture are all period, but they do have a washing machine and dryer, a full kitchen, wifi and plenty of street parking. Apparently, the rates are very reasonable too. I think you can only rent rooms by the week, and I would definitely
