My partner and I scheduled an in-person tour of the available apartments on Sunday, October 24th at 1pm. We got there about 5 minutes prior to our appointment and tried to ring for the office via the intercom to no avail. So we proceeded to wait outside, periodically calling and intercom calling the office for the next 40 minutes to no response (i also left a voicemail). We finally gave up at around 1:40pm. As we were leaving, we noticed the Amazon delivery driver trying to get in to no avail, so they started stacking the boxes on the sidewalk. I hope this isn't a common thing for the residents

The power goes out a lot here. And I mean A LOT!! The power went out 6 times last night. I moved in,
in November and from November to now the power has gone out 47 times. I can't believe I pay this much money to live here and I can't even enjoy myself cause the power is always going out. Absolutely ridiculous!!!!

I love living at Grant Park Village. I've been here for almost 2 years and I don't really have any complaints. The staff are always available and always there. Maintenance comes really quickly. Grant Park Village handles concerns really quickly as well. Very safe because you need key fobs to get in and to use the elevator. They also have security roaming the area all night long. I don't see myself leaving Grant Park Village any time soon.

I've lived in other parts of Portland and I was skeptical to move to a new area. However, to my surprise, my transition has been above and beyond my expectations. The staff are always pleasant, available and eager to answer any questions. I feel safe 24/7 with their implemented amenities and am satisfied with their covid safety precautions. Overall, I am thrilled with my decision to move here!

The staff was sooo accommodating and a pleasure to work with. I loved my unit. It was a very cozy little oasis. The only downsides are the fire alarms that went off every couple months and also the area can be a bit rough around the edges at night (but absolutely NOTHING compared to where I grew up in Chicago). Highly recommend!!

I enjoy so many things about my living experience here, the location is perfect, I feel safe and taken care of. The office staff is easy to talk to, they answered any questions I had and gave me a thorough tour of the building. It smelled, felt and looked clean when I got the tour and it still does. I see house keepers leaving or arriving often. The elevator smells neutral. The trash shute doesn't smell. The apartments are new and cute, the kitchen backdrop is beautiful and they chose darker wood cabinet as opposed to those awful yellow wood cabinets that a lot of apartments use. Overall I am very

I really enjoyed my time at Grant Park Village. I was on the top floor so experienced no noise from other tenants, which is a huge deal for me. The complex is in a convenient area: pay attention to where your unit is facing if noise bothers you because the convenience brings lots of urban sound. The units are nice and my two bedroom unit had two bathrooms, which was the selling point for me and my roommate.
The staff were awesome: maintenance went above and beyond and the PM helped me when I thought my bike had been stolen, even though I was in the process of moving out. Sam (best maintenance

I recently wrote a previous review but now I'm lowering my 2 star rating to a 1 star. New neighbors moved in upstairs and they are crazy loud. I am repeatedly woken up while asleep by them. I wrote a complaint and the management says this is acceptable noise without hearing or knowing what noise is taking place. I have lived here 2 years and never had rude and noisy upstairs neighbors like this. Management does not care and this is based on their e-mail responses. I took my dog out to use the restroom in the dog area and mentioned it to three other of my neighbors that I see often. All of

This community will charge you for each and every amenity that it provides. They will ticket you any day of the week for being 15 minutes late for moving your car out of its' paid spot. The alarms go off constantly, without ownership or attempt to rectify the issue. We have experienced dozens of false fire alarms in this building, many of which happen at 2 or 3 in the morning. They advertise this building as a "place to call home," but this is not how you welcome people. I am very disappointed with the defensive staff that cite fine print and deflect each time I have brought a concern

While management and staff are AMAZING and truly doing their best to help and accommodate, it seems that the drawbacks outweigh the benefits due to poor building planning, city regulations and building owner policies. Luckily, a couple months for lease to end. This applies only to the building on 32nd Ave.
1. Safety - growing homeless harassing residents and relieving themselves in unsecured, accessible staircase for residents from parking garage. Security guards only here at night (and they are pretty awesome folks as well.
2. No freight elevator to move in furniture. - The only elevator

If you're thinking about moving into Grant Park Village I would suggest you look elsewhere. My wife and I lived at Grant Park for 1.5 years and only once we moved out, did we realize how bad the living environment there was.
We experienced 5 or so fire alarms evacuating all the buildings in the complex at 3 or 4 am and a number of others during the daylight hours. There was a significant increase in vandalism in community areas and increasing level of thefts over the time we lived there.
If you liked dorm room style living at college with people climbing on the roof in the night, drug

Wow I can't believe I'm living in the same place as a lot of these complainers. First of all this is COMMUNITY LIVING! Maybe it's the first time for some of there renters and reviewers.
The homeless problem has been taken care of ... the fire alarm hasn't gone off since last summer, meaning the problems has been taken care of (was it mentioned that management gave each resident a $100 gift card for the inconvenience?) sure there are little things that everyone can nitpick about ... but these are the bonuses about living at GPV.
Awesome workout room ... not huge but never

Could be 5-stars but, always room for improvement. -- My wife and I, along with our Golden Retriever are quite comfortable in this mid-range apartment complex. Most complaints we read are exaggerations (Why?) or concern problems that have been resolved. Nearly every complaint is related to usual problems of urban living. Parking is scarce everywhere, yes. City noises should be expected, in the city. Homeless people are messy & irresponsible and they cause problems throughout Portland! Housing prices in desirable Portland are on the high side and they're likely to go UP! False fire alarms

I'm updating my review, I'm still giving it only two stars however I was in a feisty mood last time and thought I'd be fair.
I'd also like to say to managements comments down there, I see them all the time and never once have they asked me about my living experience here, just listened when I complained. They're installing security cameras for the stairwell and they still can't lock it, there's already security so clearly not much more is going to stop it. We've even called the police on the homeless people and its private property so the homeless GET FINED

Grant Park Village is "alright". The apartments are great (though pricy for the size), the staff works to help you, and the neighbors are quiet folk for the most part. Decent location for public transportation and located at the apex of three different grocery stores (all within 1 block). Parking is abysmally expensive for a full time spot and the cheap parking option is only available during basically overnight hours.
While your apartments are finished the building is apparently not so. If you move in now what you're doing is "beta testing" this apartment complex

We ended up moving out only 3 months later. The management here was awful! We had complaints on a weekly basis and they were never resolved. I will never get the awful sound of those fire alarms which went off several times while we lived here. It was the worst sound I have ever heard. It would go off for hours in the middle of the night. Many elderly residents were trapped in their rooms during the fire alarms with their only escape route being 5-10 flights of crowded stairs. After leaving us abandoned outdoors for over an hour, the management would tell us it was a truck which hit the alarm at

Although we lived in GPV for the better part of a year and loved the building and building staff, we have not had a positive experience dealing with Greystar, the management company. They are totally unresponsive and inefficient.
The building staff dedicated to "selling" the building were friendly and very accommodating. The maintenance crew works hard but there are not enough people to keep the garbage, especially the weekend garbage, under control. Our main beef is with the management company which is Greystar, Inc. All of our dealings with them have proven them to be uncaring, totally
