Services
Our Ninja Class is a simple and fun TaeKwonDo class geared towards engaging younger children. This class is exclusively for ages 3-5. Our qualified instructors work to help these students develop basic skills including self-confidence, focus, coordination, respect, and discipline. The instruction is given to them in the form of games that will challenge them both mentally & physically.
To advance from one rank to the next, students typically complete promotion tests in which they demonstrate their proficiency in the various aspects of the art before their teacher and instructors. Our highest ranking students, the future Black Belt leaders, are invited to progress even further by working at a high intensity and learning both advanced techniques and the skills needed to command a martial arts session.
Imagine an after-school care program that's more than just a place to hang out until mom or dad arrives. Instead, it's a stimulating learning environment that actually enhances life at home and at school. Students participate in Taekwondo training, receive homework assistance, and have positive social interaction during free time in an environment where respect, courtesy, and honor are highly valued.

This place is a SIRIUS danger to your kids my child who is 10 has told me that there is a special need child but they have shoved him into a closet that doesn't open from the inside and the masters give very cruel and harsh punishment and some kids get in trouble for smiling in class they also do not teach very good master lee especially can be very cruel even in front of the parents if i could I would absolutely give this place zero stars please do not come here if you want your kid to get bruises when you get home

My son recently joined YJ Taekwondo and loves it! The classes are the right size, the teachers are amazing, and my son is always asking when his next practice is. Classes have given him another outlet to have fun and be active, but also reinforce discipline, respect, and the importance of self-improvement. I also love that they encourage the kids to do positive things outside of martial arts such as reading, good behavior, and recognizing/showing appreciation. We looked at 3 other programs in the area and are so happy that we chose YJ Taekwondo!

My son Dre has been at YJ since he was 3 1/2 years old. While the school is a bit smaller than most, we love it because Dre gets the personal attention that he may not have otherwise. The instructors Master Jun, Master Alex, and Mr. Greg are great instructors. Their style of teaching is age appropriate and they help build the children's confidence. As Dre approaches 5 next month, he has proven to have more confidence and interest in taekwondo and has grown and developed into a great martial arts student thanks to YJ. Thanks, YJ!

We love YJ Tae Kwon Do Academy and especially Master Jun! Master Jun is an extremely talented, humble, and caring instructor. Our son loves and respects him greatly. He has been taking classes at YJ since he was 6 years old and he is now 10. During his time there he has demonstrated notable growth in his self-confidence and technique. One of the things we appreciate most about YJ is it's small size- where you feel you are part of a family and not part of a mill like at some of the large or chain dojangs. Master Jun and all staff at YJ taekwondo academy are very passionate and nice. My children love to taking taekwondo classes with their friends. Since here is not that big sized school, so kids can get more attentions from masters and instructor, that is the main reason why we choose this school. I want to highly recommend this school if you're looking for true martial arts school.

The leadership, hard-work, passion and values he demonstrates daily has had an profound impact on not only my son, but all of his students and our community. The place is nice , clean, and comfortable. Like the emphasis on good grades and self-discipline.I started in YJ Taekwondo about 9 month ago. It's changed my life and I feel much stronger physically and emotionally. Highly recommended for all ages. Also, I can see how the masters and instructors have passion for teaching. My daughters have been attending YJ for almost 2 years. To say that Master Jun has been a great teacher is an understatement. He is an amazing instructor and he tailors his teachings for each individual child. His classes teach respect, discipline, and focus. All of his co-instructors know each child and his/her traits by name and help each child progress in class. We are so happy that we found someone like Master Jun who really cares about child development! Definitely recommend to anyone interested!!

My family's experience with YJ Tae Kwon Do Academy has been extremely satisfying! Before sending my daughter there to start lessons, we shopped around and visited several martial arts places. I second others' comment on how this place is not super crowded and not as personable. Most place run their academies on strictly business terms. They are all about generating revenues as opposed to helping kids learn true martial arts. YJ, on the other hand, is much more friendly and focuses on the correctness of the forms. They watch every kid practice what they have learned by calling out the individuals

My son has been attending YJ martial art school for few months and his abilities has learned valuable leadership and service disciplines. I started this school because they were offering free trials and Master Jun who is the headmaster is great! You can tell he is well trained and very experienced. He really provides quality training and cares for each of his students. My son loves him and count the days to go training. The school is very family oriented and makes you want to get involved.
