We moved in on October 8th after breaking the lease and paying a buyout fee for our old apartment, Bloom.
I cannot express how wonderful Monterra has been to us. They held our apartment for two full months, and Kimberli was incredibly kind and helpful the entire process--she went out of her way to find what we wanted within our price range and on the date we were available, helped us with getting all of our documents together and fees paid, and continued to offer help and guidance after we were settled in.
We didn't realize just how awful our old place was until we got to Monterra. They were

This place has upstair residents throwing up on the staircase and children running wild. Go to the middle of Apts where the BACK POOL is no grass vary little maintenance even though they act like they're working. This place says I owe them, $1400.00 For What? I don't owe a dime

A tree fell on my husbands car the tree was not planted correctly. The manager was very rude and wouldn’t listen. States they aren’t liable for any damages done to it. Management is so unprofessional not caring for tenants that pay there rent on time. If I could give negative 5 stars I would when told we will contact our attorney Jane the manager was very rude and hung up on my husband. It’s ridiculous how unprofessional they are.

Lady named Fabiola is very rude. She miscommunicates and almost seems like is new at her job. I've had to clarify with someone else in the office and I want to say most information she told me was false. I can see why they say they dont like to deal with other associates clients because the information told by one could be completely different when talking to another. And when you question Fabiola she says I never say that. So our whole conversation you never say? Not moving into a place that cant even get their information straight. If I could put a neg star I would. DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT MOVE THERE. I lived there for several yrs and the staff was always horrible. The only knowledgeable and friendly person working there was Romie. And he left. The pools were never open and when I asked I was informed it was shut down by the health dept. When I reached out to the health dept they had no idea what I was talking about. Every time it rained my livingroom would flood. Maintenance came several times and it still flooded. I believe there had to be mold in the walls. My allergies wld kill me and I had 3 sinus infections living there

Management is horrible, they don't care at all about tenants or issues they have. It's never there responsibility even when they advice you to do one thing that turns out to not be good advice, and then refuse to own up to there own mistake or at least try to help. They'd much rather tell you you're at fault and they can't do anything to help, they have no sympathy since its not affecting them. There are many tenants moving out and I see why, this place is not worth the rent might as well rent a home with these prices anyway.

The washing machine went out, and maintenance came over the same day I notified the front office. It's an outdated washer so it took a couple of days to get the part needed to repair it. But once it came in, they had it fixed right away. It would've been nice to get an updated unit, but all's well that ends well.

I’m so aggravated right now! I pay my rent on time every month! And this the second time my knob on my shower has become loose! I’m very patient but this has tick me off because maintenance said it’s not enough of an emergency to come out and fix! I need a shower because I been working all day and they saying it’s not an emergency! I went to the store and grabbed the wrong pliers! This is soo crazy! I just want a hot shower! Monterra is surrounded by problems,in the area it's located. You can't leave the house without seeing the police or some fiasco. The management also picks and choose who they wanna mess with they will write you up but let your neighbors do the same thing with no complaints for weeks I've talked to several other people from the apartments and they plan on not renewing their lease just off that the new management is so petty and unreasonable, there ruining our once peaceful environment/ community. I wish arianna was still up there in the office never had no problems. For sure Worst

I lived in these apartments for a year and for sure didn't renew my lease! There is nothing luxurious about these apartments like they claim! The office only cares about the front of the complex but when you get to the back it gets trashier and trashier! The office only allows you to find out how much your rent is on the first and you have to have it paid on the first no later or you're charged late fees. There were always hobos in the back of the garage area sleeping and causing chaos. The play ground is not safe for kids I when I moved in there was a part of the playground that was

My grand daughter chose Monterra Apartments as her new home. When I showed up to see it I was stunned at how immaculately clean the grounds were as well as the pool and gym area. It is a place to be proud to call home. Also the staff, each one of them has been helpful, organized and friendly to us along the way. They deserve this review as I rarely do this, so I would highly recommend Monterra Apartments to anyone!

I have been living here in Vegas for 11 months now I just signed another lease for a year at Monterra I have had no problem there The property is clean and quiet no issues with my apartment if I did all I have to do is call the office they will come immediately and fix it issue I want to thank Arianna and Romeo for being nice and understanding and always being professional

So, update time. I recently signed a new lease. If you're like me and don't get paid consistently on the 1st of each month DON'T come here. They're now charging if you're late. Let me explain. Before the new lease we had from the first to the third to pay rent. Now it's due on the 1st and if you pay it after, you get slapped with late fees. Earlier this year someone got shot here, we had some drunk dude try to break in. This place is a cluster. Oh and if you don't know the staff name, they get mad. For instance Romey. The worst experience ever had landscaper blow dirt in my new car mngr had it cleaned. New mngr and it happens again landscaper said I hit him no metro involved they evicted me mngr took landscaper s word over mine did not listen to me or let me tell him this is the second time same person has done this. These aren't luxury apartment living it's the worst place I've lived sense being in Vegas & I have lived here for ten years & haven't been deceived or lied to by apartment staff like this anywhere, they cant even properly fix a toilet after it flooded my apartment there's dead roaches in my lightbulb in my bedroom closet but they said they cleaned everything before we moved in I've had so many problems here & I've only been here 8 months going on 9 months if you where going to look here I wouldn't there front office staff that actually speak with

I am so mad at these apartments I been here almost an year and today my rent was denied over 40 cents and when I said I am so mad I am mad like my rent was late already cause I got paid on the 4th and the office was closed and it was the last day to pay was on the 4th so had to come up with 75 dollar for late fees and to get my rent denied over 40 cents to have to come up with another dollar I am so upset they don't care about their residents here. This apartment complex is trash. It is sold on on false impressions. The management over charges water and sewage with an inflated c.a.m. charge to their tenants. The automatic gate that management is overspending on only keeps the people trying to help, out of the complex. There are a few delivery options that will not deliver because of this location being involved in robberies. Josh is the property manager and only believes in lining his own pockets

Yesterday, my boyfriend and I had our friend over to visit and while he was in the bathroom he saw a scorpion. This was the day AFTER pest control came and no matter how clean your apartment is they will STILL COME IN YOUR HOME. The utility bill is high for no reason. They even charge you CAM fees which I later found out were charges for the amenities that come with the apartment.
The worst thing about this complex is that on the outside it looks nice and somewhat decent, but it's all a lie. I'm convinced that this entire property was built on desert land. We are at the point now where

Apartment is nice. Have not seen any roaches or had any issues of that nature. I am giving 1 star rating because the water sewage and trash is tremendously high. I am paying $70+ for a one bedroom (bill is due with rent). My electric bill isn't even this high. Also maintenance will enter your home without warning. Noticed a few things had been fixed around my house. Maintenance fulfilled work order at the end of April that had been previously satisfied in February. I moved in here a few months ago and I should've known that when I opened the door the first day of moved in and saw dead cockroaches, that was a sign.
It took about 3 months for the roaches to invade. It's been a nightmare.
I know a lot of apartments have the roach problem. When I walk my dogs, I see the roaches crossing my path and on the grass and landscaped rocky areas.
Don't be fooled by the nice landscape, the pool, professional leasing office, and the demo apartment unit they'll show you. It's all a facade.
