EDIT: After posting on various review websites, I finally got someone to answer me. Carrie James, one of the managers, let me know that she was looking into this and she was sorry that it had taken so long to get any real response. Unfortunately, she was leaving Eliot (I wonder why) a couple of days later and promised me this would be handed off to… the manager, Sharita Harper.
After not hearing for another week, I e-mailed 2 days ago and asked for Sharita. She called me this afternoon. Long story short - she had no idea the back story because apparently no one in this organization takes

Hello: I'm sorry to have to write this message about a complaint I have about a lady recepcionist a the desk of Eliot on 4th. Yesterday Tuesday November 23rd about 11;30 AM by mistake I went into the lobby building, I was looking for an office building near by. When I ask the lady at the desk, she said this an apartment building, so I said will… make a phone call to the office I'm looking for and was ready to put my things on a chair and was going to sit down to make the phone call whe she said in a rough manner, you can not sit here, this is an apartment building, I said I just going to

We were loking for something fancy, good quality and near center of DC. And we found the best option that met our expectations at Eliot on 4th. I'm not using a personal car in DC, so we needed a place near Metro station and near supermarket. And Eliot on 4th is right there! It s 1 min to Safeway and 1 min to Waterfront metro station. I like that building is quite new, and so are apartments. There are disign furniture in common areas. It's not so important, but still matters.

William in leasing is top notch! I am a first time renter looking for a 1BR, I've experienced a number of rude leasing agents amongst other companies. William was very patient and answered all my questions via email. Quick response time and excellent customer service. Very pleasant conversation when contacting the property to inquire about a 1BR.

The staff is friendly and helpful. Since the amenities were mostly unavailable due to covid, I don't have much to say about it. It was disappointing that they didn't work with the residents who had suffered hardship during covid to provide some rent relief. Most frustrating thing was that even though I had followed the move out procedure, they lost track of my returned keys. They also sent me a bill for extra cleaning with no clear instructions on how to pay, which was somehow automatically sent to a collection agency in just TWO weeks. I don't know what kind of impact it will have on my credit

The concierge is amazing, amenities are good and it’s in a good location close to the Wharf and the metro. While I have enjoyed living here, I am saddened that they do not seem to value existing tenants.
Me and my partner have lived here for close to one year and have always paid our rent on time, and take care of the place as if it were our own. We even endured through the water shortages due to pipes bursting in the building last year, and paid for amenities we did not get to fully enjoy without hardly a complaint.
We signed our lease pre pandemic and since then, rental prices have significantly

This building is beautiful, has great amenities, and is in a great location. The property manager, Todd, has been amazing since he arrived. He has been so helpful, friendly, and responsive to every resident. The leasing office is also always willing to answer my questions, and get me help when or if I need it. Will is always helping each and every resident regardless if he is on or off the clock. The only thing I wish they would do more of is resident events, like the holiday party, sushi night, breakfast on the goes, and more....

The staff is amazing, lovely place to live! These are great apartments in a great area. Their leasing managers Ndidi and William are always friendly, they know everyone by name. Their maintenance team are quick to attend to any problems that arise . The grounds and facilities are kept clean every day by friendly courteous workers

I've done a lot of research... I mean, for over 3 months, to look for an apartment that has all the amenities, good location, large sq ft, super modern/clean, and good price. If you are looking for all-in-one deal, this is it. I cannot find a single thing to complain about... I want to live here forever !!

These people told a woman who is fighting the pandemic that her dog was barking too much - and it turns out that because she works late hours, the dog barks JUST TO GREET HER. After a 13 hr shift helping people through this crisis.
That's no way to help a tenant.
Her post is going viral and I came on here to share.
This building management is shameful.

STAY AWAY, but live here if you want to be harassed and discriminated against. The past week the management team has been harassing me about complaint from my dog barking. They did not investigate the situation from both sides but rather immediately placed blame.
First, I have a medical condition and live alone so my dog has barked to save my life… and alert that I have fallen. So I will not lock my dog in the bathroom as suggest by the resident coordinator, Anna Cooper, or as she stated find a way to shut them up.
Second, I confronted resident whom made compliant. The resident stated to

We were on the 11th Floor from 2017 to 2018. The window was not sealed properly or adequately, so in the winter we were chronically cold in the living room. Later, when it was time to check out the management assessed us $100 for 2 access cards which we never received. Felt like I was being nickled and dimed.

My husband, sister in-law, and I live here and we love it. The amenities are great with definitely one of the best roof tops in the city. The concierge and front-desk staff in particular make it feel so much like home. We do not have enough nice things to say especially about Derek Patron who from day one made us feel like home and continues to be a vital part of our stay here. Nestled in a great part of SW with easy access to the Wharf, Safeway and the new DC United stadium, Eliot on 4th is a great place to call home.
