I witnessed an attempted murder in the parking lot that resulted in my car being totaled. Shadow Ridge now expects $1400 for breaking my lease even though I provided more than the notice required and begged them in writing not to charge me. Staff is barely able to intelligibly communicate in emails, and one maintenance worker employed at Shadow Ridge attempted to break in to my apartment. I heard from a neighbor he was fired for stealing from other tenants. No central AC, out of control mold problems and the bathroom floor of my apartment was rotting away and they never fixed it despite telling

Apartments are run down, unmaintained & full of mold. Nonstop issues with parking lot noise & crime in the middle of night. Lived here just under 3 years, decided to move after our car was totaled while parked in front of our apartment, the driver was attempting to kill people standing in the parking lot. Avoid this place at all costs. We were charged $1500 for terminating our lease less than 2 months early with 60 day notice given after losing our vehicle. If you have no other choice, I’d find anywhere else but here.

Haven't had a great experience so far. Our unit is quite run down - lots of holes in the walls and doors, paneling missing on walls, and so on. The appliances do not work well, if at all. They are slow to fix anything - our dishwasher hasn't worked since we've moved in and they've not done anything about it (and it's been FIVE months). Our AC unit was in horrible condition, which they thankfully replaced. Along with the poor air conditioning, our faucets leak (even after they "fixed" it), altogether costing us almost double in utilities.

THE WORST PLACE TO LIVE. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS ONE. We've been here two years now and so far have had four property managers come and go. The units are in the worst possible condition-- they fix nothing, only cover up problems. All interior door hinges are broken or screwed up, so you can barely close the bedroom door and the closet doors have completely fallen off. Carpets are disgusting. What looks like wood flooring is actually cheap linoleum that, if you peel up the edge of, I've found is covering nothing but more cheap linoleum except the stuff underneath is COVERED in mold. I would not advise living here. There are far cheaper places with MORE to offer. They don’t seem to care about the units they give you, and forget to fix it if you complain. Many of our features and appliances have been broken or in extremely poor condition since move in. It has taken us almost half a year to get the dishwasher looked at, and it’s still not fixed.

I am going on three years here. It is a very nice comfortable spot for my son and I. BUTTTTT I have had many issues in the beginning and it took forever for them to correct it. I had to nip it in butt to get things done. Never had a roach. Had mold issues in the beginning, but everything was taken care of. My neighbors are friendly. 😃

I've lived here for going on 2 years now. The staff is amazing and very helpful. Josh the property manager is amazing he pays excellent attention to detail and responds to all questions and issues quickly. Randy the other office man is the same. I have recommended this place to all my friends and others, and will continue to do so. Thanks guys keep up the great work. :-)
