I really hate to give this company a one star, as I was a tenant in one of their properties for 14 years. I raised 2 children there and only in the last few years have I had issues with the property management. AJ and Sammie were phenomenal and always addressed our concerns in a very timely and professional manner. With that being said the current property manager Jennifer is horrible, dishonest and not friendly at all. My family lived in this house with moldy carpet due to an air conditioner leak and we never complained. We had constant plumbing issues and we never complained. We paid our rent

Positive: Professionalism, Responsiveness
From start to finish, Paige Hollis was a great help in explaining the process of the paperwork I had to fill out for getting my gutters. If I had any questions about anything, she replied quickly. I felt like I might be annoying with all my questions, but she was very patient. I appreciate that.

My home spot has been taking care of my property in FL for over 10 years now. I have been extremely satisfied and will probably cry should my current property manager, Sammie, leave. Glenn and the whole crew have taken good care of me and mine and I appreciate the fact that they don't just rent out my place to anyone. Great communication by all, the owner portal is excellent and if I ever need anything, I just phone or email.

As property owners, we have been with My Home Spot for 10 years. Glenn and the staff at My home spot have always been very responsive to our calls, questions, and all things regarding our rental properties. We appreciate their services. Especially being across the county. I would reccomend My Home Spot to anyone needing property management services in Escambia County.

This company gets a lot of grief and bad reviews because they are responsible for finding people and assessing non-conformity to HOA rules that they agreed to know they bought the house. It doesn't stop people from breaking the rules and then blaming it on this company. In my experience however working with them has been a pleasure. They've always been responsive to my questions, they've always been professional at the board meetings, they've provided prompt responses to both violation questions, inspections, or clarity of the HOA agreements and guidelines. I'm really glad that we hired them to

Glenn Dorsey and his team at MyHomeSpot have helped guide us to continuously make our property a better place. Glenn is extremely knowledgeable with condo law and has made the Board's job significantly easier and saved us money. Brad Hill in Accounting has also been very helpful and always super fast to respond and assist. Ashley is also a great addition to the team and helps our Association. Glenn also assisted a friend of mine and worked with some credit issues to enable her to obtain a long term rental managed by MyHomeSpot.

I see a lot of negative reviews but my current lease is not up yet and I can not express the gratitude I have for Sammie for bending over backwards to make sure my family has a place to live. I look forward to continuing my lease here. They care about the maintenance emergencies and have always responded in a timely manner and also called back later to make sure all of our issues have been resolved. I hope I can renew my lease when the time comes, but for the time being I would like let this company know how much I appreciate how I know they care about their tenants. I came here after renting from

I just thought I would take a moment to add a comment to the Google reviews. I was a recent employee at myHomeSpot and a VERY happy one. I enjoyed my job, the customers and the management team. (Glenn Dorsey & Rachael Ward) While it was time for me to make a change, I just want to say my 2 & 1/2 years was a very positive experience. I leave with many happy memories and some fun friendships I will have forever. I highly recommend myHomeSpot for your HOA or Property Management company. Hard working people offering great services!

Can't speak to home they manage their properties, because they took an application from me for a property they already approved someone else for. Applied on a Friday through their website, called them Monday at 9am and left them a message. They didn't return the call, called them back at 1:50pm for them to tell me they already approved someone else earlier last week and they paid the deposit this morning. They offered to cancel the application or transfer to another property, there aren't any other properties in the area, so I told them they can cancel and refund it, they said that

If you're in the rental property market in the greater Pensacola area, I STRONGLY encourage you to STAY AWAY (Better yet, RUN!) from this joke of a property management company. My experience on the whole wasn't bad, until the end. For starters, they know they are a bad company and make you sign a Non-Disparagement agreement thus signing your rights away for 45 days prior to and 90 days after your lease ends from making any negative comments about them online. If you choose to do so within the above time frames, they have the legal recourse to fine you!!! Little red flags went up when

After 26 years of Military moves and countless property managers I must say these guys are the absolute worst we have ever encountered. Treated like we were some kind of enemy. We had pride and only wanted the best for our rental unit. Met with subpar results and ridiculous claims by the staff. Do not rent from this company, they will steal your money and do it with a smile. Shameful!

I will have to agree with the previous review, DO NOT RENT HERE!!! This place is a bunch of thieves. Upon move out Instead of receiving my deposit in the mail I received a $1500 bill. The house was spotless. I got charges $250 for "bad smoke detector batteries" and no AC filter even though I had left a brand new one right beside the old one. Also had "dust on the blinds" even though they did the move out inspection over two weeks late. I left a door mat out of good courtesy and they also charged me $100 for the removal of it. Like are you kidding me. Multiple friends that go

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Let me start by saying that I have rented NUMEROUS properties over the years and I have never had an experience as terrible as this one. Nor have I ever written a bad review for anyone, ever. I have recently vacated one of their properties in Perdido, FL. Of my $1500 deposit that I paid to move in, I just received $125 of it back. They say that you can be present for the walk thru inspection upon vacating, but my property manager didn't have the time to do it while I was still in the area (convenient, right?). Well now, I'm being charged with $1374.56 for

As a military member I have moved frequently and have interacted with quite a few different property management services, including one that I use for the home that I own. My Home Spot I would rank last out of the 5-6 that I have used.
I have felt generally positive about the company as you can rent and then basically never hear from them with the exception of normal inspections.
I am on my second lease with them and when I attempted to pay my rent on the first of the month something happened with the webpage and it said "do not refresh" so as to not accidentally pay rent twice

I would recommend My Home Spot to any of my friends or family looking for a home to rent. My wife and I recently rented a home through My Home Spot and the lease signing was quick and easy. Any repair we had was fixed in a very timely manner. All inquiries through the rental portal were promptly answered. All of the people that work at My Home Spot were professional in all of my dealings with them.

We are moving from VA to Pensacola and have been endlessly looking for homes for nearly a month. It's difficult when every property we found was already under contract to be leased. The one property we kept coming back to was never available for show because it was not cleaned yet. It was on the lower end of our price range and had the amount of bedrooms and bathrooms that we wanted includeding lots of storage from a shed and 2 car garage. The pictures on myhomespot.com for the property looked great and it was a relatively new house. After calling and talking with the property manager, Rachael

I would not recommend this rental agency, Even if you have no choice in the matter. This company price gouging is crazy.
First, repair were never done after multiple inspectors that came to the house for measurements nothing was ever completed, but the company still closed out the clams. When i moved in the house was not cleaned and the carpet were horrible. dead bugs and hair was ever where.
Second, I get charged 115 dollars for rent at a place I dont have a key too, then i get charged a ridiculous amount of money for common things like light bulbs, air filters, carpet cleaning, and even

Absolutely horrible. If you're looking at renting a house that's managed by My Home Spot, I STRONGLY suggest that you walk away. They don't answer their emergency line (or return messages left there), they nickel & dime their renters, and honestly I don't think they'll be in business much longer. Just the worst.

During my 18 months in a My Home Spot rental, they did one single walk through. While I didn't mind the lack of invasion, the lease stated their would be at least two walk throughs a year. As a home owner myself, I would be upset to know my home went uninspected. The only reason they came to inspect it, was because the owner was wanting to sell it. I had a dog and cats too, I would really want to know the animals were't destroying my home.
The worst part was when I moved out. I left the house spotless, even leaving behind the extra cleaners for the next people. MHS thanked me by charging

I used myHomeSpot for about 3 years to manage my property. Throughout that time, the tenant was forced to call me numerous times about minor problems because he was unable to get in touch with anyone at myHomeSpot. As a result, my tenant and I would coordinate to get the problems fixed and completely sidestep the property manager. Makes me wonder why I was paying them 10% of rent as a fee. After Huricanne Ivan, my house did very well except for some shingle and chimney damage. When myHomeSpot did the estimate to repair the damage, they told me the fence needed to be completely replaced and
