It was good, the menu has a great selection. The pendelton burger and clam chowder were excellent, enjoy the view of the river and bridge. I would go back again/ recommend. The only thing- their menus are on large screens behind the counter, as they rotate through they can be hard to read. A post C-19 precaution. They have a non moving menu if you ask.

I will definitely be coming back to this place :) Melissa and the other young lady were very professional, and attentive. very caring and genuinely nice people to chat with.
I got put out of service at the weigh station (I'm a truck driver) and i was gonna walk back, i was dreading it because it was windy and chilly. They offered to drop me off, which kinda surprised me but that's quality service!
Thank you for making my first visit pleasant 😊

Forgot to review while we were there, but this place deserves a mention! The service was outstanding and the food was packed up for us lunch box style with napkins and condiments since we were planning on eating down by the river. Food was well worth the price. The views were amazing from this place which it’s name is so perfect a fit!

After reading the reviews we figured it would be the best place to stop for a bite after a hike. Honestly wasn't THAT impressed. We felt kind of rushed because we got there an hour and a half before they closed, which is plenty of time to order eat and leave before closing. My partner and I shared a beer and ordered the chicken burger and fish and chips... not a lot to say about either of those. Our dogs loved the fries though.

I was incredibly on the fence as to a 3 or 4 star for this place. Let me explain.
Staff were really on point. Courteous. Observant. Fast. When the coffee ran out I didn't even notice when they swapped it for a fresh pot, they were that on top of things.
The view, fantastic. The gift shop interesting.
The food was ok. Mostly, learn how to crisp that bacon fat a bit more than a floppy fin on the edge of a delicious piece of meat.
The tables, I know they were clean, but they were sticky, along with the bench seats. It's probably due to the cleaner, but hey, maybe get some plastic table toppers

The view was pretty spectacular.
You get in a cafeteria type of line and pay at the end.
We had "breakfast" here as we had a coupon from our hotel at the Best Western next door.
We were given a choice of continental (boiled egg, cold muffin and orange or apple), or nothing as they were out of everything else that was supposed to be on the breakfast menu. We could have paid $12 for pancakes or eggs, but offering a free breakfast from our hotel was quite misleading.
I had to ask for water, muffin was ice cold.
Really, for $250/night, mc donalds breakfast would have

I'm fairly certain the majority of people willing to hike the Gorge during all types of weather do so in order to stop in here for a Charburger as a reward. And for those who haven't done so yet, they need to.
What's been said before, you walk in to a quaint decor with gorgeous expanded views of the Bridge of the Gods and the Columbia. You're met with friendly service from the taking of your order to your service at your table. I've never had anything bad here, but I go for the Charburger. The cheese blends in to every bit perfectly, and for a bonus? Throw on a fried

A very cozy and respectable establishment. You can learn a lot from the visual history presented inside the resteraunt and you get a breathtaking view of the bridge of the gods right outside the river-facing window.
I would definitely recommend this to anyone heading out that way, and may myself go back someday.

Large room with tall ceilings. You order at the counter and grab a seat. Service is friendly. It is sort of like diner food. Breakfast and lunch. I ordered the hot pastrami sandwich. It was delicious. Served on a toasted sourdough bun with hot pastrami, sautéed onions, and a dab of mustard. A side of crispy French fries.
They have Smith tea, the green fez was tasty and just the right touch on a cold day.

Oh so delicious!! Got lunch here after a hike in the gorge and was not disappointed at all! Thick, juicy burger, a soft bun, and crispy onion rings has me wanting to drive the hour just to visit here again!! Not crazy expensive either for quality and quantity. Also had an amazing view of Bridge of the Gods from where I ate in the parking lot!

Would you like a Million Dollar view with your burger? Then Bridgeside, formerly Char Burger, is your place! The food is what one would expect at a roadside diner; it's the view that makes it spectacular. Nestled under the OR side of The Bridge of the Gods with views if the Bridge and Columbia River, it makes for a delightful spot to grab a bite and take in the gorgeous scenery.
Since I drive to Hood River often, and always take WA hpHighway 15 there, Bridgeside is the perfect place to stop, refuel, and truth be told, to use the restroom! They also have a gift shop with awesome cookies and

Bridgeside is your typical American diner and their most appealing trait is their location next to the Bridge of the Gods. Come for the view, not the food.
Covid Safety - This area is currently allowing indoor dining and I observe half capacity with every other table being available. Hand sanitizer station. Plexi glass at the cashier. Staff wears face masks and customers wear face mask until they are at their table eating. Salt and pepper packets provided. Ketchup is given in a disposable sauce container.
At Bridgeside, you order and pay and the cashier and they give you a number for your table

I would give them 3 1/2 if possible. The food is good for a cafeteria/grill. I had the seafood plate. The clams, shrimp and fish were all crispy on the outside and moist inside. My husband's meatball sandwich was good. The place is clean and the help is friendly. I also like stopping by their gift shop for a goody (fudge and cookies) to go. The best part is the drive there. The gorge is beautiful and the booths in the restaurant have lovely views. Great destination for our Harley ride.
I also pick up some fresh salmon and fruit from the fishermen in the parking lot. I purchased a beautiful

Since we've been staying at the Best Western Plus next door, we've been enjoying our complimentary breakfast at Bridgeside. They have a select menu for guests of the hotel and many of the entrees are hearty breakfast items. Our go-to has been the Cascade breakfast, which comes with eggs (any style), hashbrowns, 8-grain toast, and choice of ham or peppered bacon. I really enjoyed the simple, flavorful breakfast and was happy to start my day this way before embarking on our hikes. The view makes the experience even better! Be sure to come early so you can enjoy a table near the window overlooking

***Café & Souvenir Shop Review Only***
There aren't a ton of establishments in the tiny town of Cascade Locks, but the Bridgeside seems to be a major staple in this area. For one thing, it's walking distance from the popular Bridge of the Gods. After my group and I walked the Bridge of Gods, we stopped here afterward. What's nice is that they have clean public restrooms and an adorable café and giftshop right near the entrance. There's also a full-service restaurant, but brought we all our lunch and decided to skip dining there.
The cafe offers hot drinks and baked
