Super friendly place. We were greeted right as we walked in. The friendliness continued from there. The bar tender was talkative and made recommendations. It was just the bar tender and the cook. Our service was prompt, the food is above average and the bathroom is really clean. It was really nice to go to a place for the first time and be treated like a regular. Thank you!

Worked here, trust me just don’t. I rarely ate anything here. Except the potatoe salad. Your risking and wasting your time coming here. Thank the owner, and if you ever stop by ask the servers how he treats them. It’s legit like a episode of a kitchen nightmare 24/7. The owner put hot grease in plastic bucket to clean it 🤣 and insisted the whole time it was ok. Until… we all know I don’t have to say it. Don’t waste your time. Or your health. Go on down the road to any of the other great hometown spot. I’m sure you will catch a properly cooked meal anywhere else.

I got the BBQ trio with mac-n-cheese and cole slaw. The meats were over-cooked and pretty flavorless; I honestly couldn't tell which was pork and which was the chicken. Brisket was a gimme 'cause it was brisket. The mac was bougie. The slaw was pretentious with more kale than cabbage (I'm legitimately still mad about that ridiculous, vinegarry slaw).

Boy this place has changed through the years. NOTHING like it was. The food is not good anymore. Don't see the smokers going, potatoes were not thoroughly cooked, Mac was frozen - SO watery, food was cold.
Seems like they want to be more of a bar atmosphere as they heavily over-serve the younger crowd. One star for the improvements on the property. No need to return here. Bummer, they started off so great.

Unfortunately I did not feel as though the food was worth the price. We ordered take out for 4 people tonight and what we got was rather shocking. The tacos were the best bang for your buck. We also ordered sliders, a sandwich, and the brisket with two sides and there was barley anything on any of them for a higher price than the tacos. We also ordered two of the pork Mac and cheeses and there was no pork in either one of them. Overall we were disappointed.

Some of the best BBQ that I have had in Oregon. Brisket is great. Pork is amazing. Chicken is pretty good, bit I am not much of a BBQ chicken person - so I am not a fair person to input on that.
Sides have been great every time we have been. We have had about everything now, but anymore we don't even look we just get the mac'n'cheese and street corn. My biggest complaint is they won't sell their blueberry habenero BBQ sauce by the bottle.

Seems like this is a hidden gem. I would almost like to keep it a secret, but they fully deserve

Absolutely heartbroken that I went into this establishment with my baby for a late Mother’s Day celebration just to leave with an anxiety attack I did not realize that no one in this place follows health and… safety and no one wears a mask until the waitress was in my four month olds face talking to her without a mask the least you guys could have done was posted outside that you guys weren’t following the mandate I would have happily left but instead I put my family at risk with how many people you service hell no I would he never been up in there with my child also I was told

After a long 15mile river trip. My buddy asked me to find a spot with five star reviews... I find this location and thought that was our golden ticket. Unfortunately the food here was gross! Bad nachos and bad tacos. The beer choice was good. The staff seemed over worked and under staffed. If you want food go somewhere else. If you want beer, I guess this is your spot

I'm not one to give bad reviews, but this was very disappointing. The food had no flavor, even using the BBQ sauce didn't help. Should have known when the parking lot was empty & there was no BBQ smell whatsoever. The waitress was great, super friendly service but the food was not worth the money we paid.

Such friendly staff and ownership. We had just had a car accident and were dropped off here to eat. They were genuinely so caring to us. All the staff kept checking on us to see what we needed. At the end the owner offered to pay for our meal - actually made us tear up. Such a friendly neighborhood pub! Too bad we live in Portland, or we would be going more often. Thank you!!

The service was great and beer selection was nice. The place was pretty empty because we were there at an odd time a little too early for a lunch crowd on a cold weekday. It picked up before we left, though.
The sauces were a little rough and the food itself was a little plain. They were out of a few items we tried to order, but it's a small place and that happens.
All said and done, it was a perfectly acceptable meal and we left thinking about the good service, but not the meal.

Nice stop off Highway 26 on the way to Mount Hood. Great dog-friendly patio. Portions are generous. Always a good sign when you can smell the BBQ cooking at a BBQ restaurant. Pulled pork and brisket were flavorful and juicy. Interesting selection of sauces from mild to spicy. For beer drinkers, there were 20+ to choose from. Service was friendly and efficient. Good value.
