Been trying to use the gym for 6 months.... That's right half a year they say renovations are happening yet there has been nothing done for the last 6 months.... Glad I pay such high rent for amenities that I never can use?! And the water park I mean dog park is always flooded... every day, every night, they run the water almost 24/7 and your dogs will be covered in mud and soaking wet. Been to a lot of dog parks that don't have this problem I don't know why they continue to drown the lawn.

This is my door and the 2 neighbors next to me. When I told them about it they left me on read and it's been 3 days now don't waist your time and money go to somewhere where they care about you and your guest. If I put spike for the pigeons it's a lawsuit on me if someone get injured so they must do something it's there property. here's the truth the photos don't lie. I see you guys are replying to people I don't care for a sorry, apologies do nothing do something we pay rent, take action. You also don't leave people who give you more than $800 a month on read. I am writing this review to save others. Please do not waste your money and time at this place. My husband and I lived here for two years. We made sure that we left the apartment in a good condition when we left. We did not hang anything on the walls, spill anything on the carpet and put no holes in the walls. We also paid for a cleaning service in advance so we won't get charged for cleaning. Before we left we informed the office that we paid for the apartment cleaning in advance multiple times. After leaving we received a bill from the apartment charging us for full cleaning, full paint

Been here barely over a month. Terrible place! We moved in to a two bed/ two bath. Where oh where to start!!! Couldn’t use the toilet in one for about two weeks! Every pipe just about had a leak or just wasn’t attached! Wood under every sink was sunk in! Still in able to use my dish washer do to rust which they kindly PAINTED OVER! So I can use it to dry dishes?!? Awesome! Now our AC is broken and we’ve been able to use the pool a whole one time which has been closed since the heat?at this point none of the “amenities” we’re paying for work and am considering an attorney cause this

The front office is awful. The services are subpar. They only care about people that don’t live there. Once you move in they find you nothing more than a problem. They are slow to do anything and they are pretentious. The people that answer the phone are not interested in being helpful and don’t even know anything. There’s a gang of kids that… scream late at night and cuss and scream the n word at each other. I have two little kids and it’s hard to take them out. The pools are closed for Fourth of July. I renewed my lease for a 3rd year with Terra Vida in May and over the last few weeks, I gravely regret the decision.
I live on the 3rd floor, in a 2 bedroom and 1 bath. Over my time here, I can honestly say summers are the worst. The coldest area of my apartment is by the front door, under the main vent, where the thermostat reads 84 degrees. The rest of the apartment is unbearable as the other vents in the apartment fail to push out cool air. When I put my hand to the living, dining, and bedroom vents, I feel hardly any air at all.
My two children and myself have resorted to multiple fans, hanging

As others already pointed out, it gets really hot in summer especially if you are living on the top floor. Wish they would fill up the dirty pits in the dog park. My dog had severe diarrhea due to the water from one pit near the second gate. Have been living here since 3 years and the only issue I had was AC not functioning during summer and it got fixed after constant follow up for a month or two last year. Otherwise, the community is a good place to live in. It's calm during the night and reasonably safe enough to go for a walk around even at 1am.

The assistance that was provided at Terra Vida apartments was extremely helpful! The worker that was sent out came a day earlier than expected which was nice, efficient on getting things fixed . The gentlemen was very nice and did exactly what was needed to be done how we wanted it done in a nice timely manner. Then after the worker was all done he left a pleasant surprise of a bag of popcorn!

I lived here about four years ago. My grandmother sent a package to this apartment on accident last year for my birthday. I assumed it would just be returned to sender. I found out this birthday that it had the only copy of a priceless family photo in the package. So I called today to ask if they had any packages from about a year ago. The lady on the phone was very nice to me, but I gave her the wrong apartment number to look for. When she came back on the phone I told her the correct apartment number, and you could hear her boss screaming in the background that they don't have packages delivered

This was our First apartment together, we had a beautiful view of the pool and we were always barbecuing (lots of great memories) but it definitely made us have a check list for our next apartment. We picked the 1st floor which is considered underground because in the summer we assumed it would be colder (less money on AC bill.. WRONG) not the best idea. as you can see from my pictures there were rainy days; it was always flooded, being that we live in AZ you wouldn't think much of it but it was so annoying having our carpet soaked NOT TO MENTION it smelled like mildew with a sent of cigarette

Do not live here!! It's sketchy, dirty, and the maintenance staff are extremely slow and unhelpful. It seems the police are here every other week and someone was stabbed in one of the buildings a few months back.
Have been waiting over a week for someone to come fix our leaking AC and broken garbage disposal. The buildings are all cheaply built and look like trash.
Dog crap and trash all over the complex-no one ever bothers to clean it up. We only picked this place because it was the cheapest option close to campus but now we will gladly pay more and drive further just to leave this horrible

I love the fact that my kids are safe to play outside, without any fears of other kids or me having fears of other adults. walking distance to my son's elementary school, light rail, grocery stores, convenient stores, post office, and fast food places. some of my neighbors are great friends and our kids are friends. I do love living here very much.

I am a current resident, and will be looking forward to my lease ending. The recent "tax" increase on rent was lovely, and the hours of the office changing (closing at 5p), and the time in which one has to pay rent exactly on the 1st is just quite ridiculous. The response "it's never changed" has upset me times 10, well done Terra Vida. You managed to make more money off your residents, what apartment complex provides no grace period??? In all my years of renting have I been told theres no grace period and no exception rent is due on the 1st, thanks for the $75 late fee

I have been living here since September and I find this to be a very nice place to live so far. People are so friendly towards one another. The staff is very accomidating and quick to help when needs reveal themselves. I like the diversity here at the apartment. I like the well-behaved children that run around and have fun.

I'd like to start out by saying that I've been living in Terra Vida Apartments since September 2010. I'd consider myself a veteran of the complex. I've lived in the same 3rd floor apartment since I moved in. First and foremost.... my reason for being here for so long is location and ease of access to major freeways and the Lightrail. I work in Chandler so the 101 is my route to work. I'm right there. If i have to head to the west valley, a short trip from the 60 to the 10 is what I do. Got tickets to a D-backs game? Take the Lightrail and save on parking!

The area near the Light Rail always tends to attract grifters, but this place seems pretty insulated from them. It's a quiet neighborhood, and people let their kids play unsupervised (this may be a good or a bad thing, depending on the kids I suppose). But there doesn't seem to be any issues with them.
Like a lot of apartments you get yearly raised rates for staying longer and being a loyal tenant. Lovely, huh? Well, it's often attributed to property taxes. Oh well.
The management has always been courteous and professional, no complaints there. Only had one issue since moving
