Services
It is meant to keep you active, have more energy and not feel spent at the end of the day. Our staff is well trained in movement and engagement. You'll feel the love, energy and knowledge that each of them uniquely bring to every class. We pride ourselves on our facilities. From the quality equipment to the cleanliness of our space, we know you'll feel the love we put into J3 Athletics.
Play 45 is a 45 minute group fitness class with an awesome blend of cardio and strength training to make you move and sweat. Classes are led from start to finish by a coach who will help you move better and encourage you to be 1% better everyday. Our private training sessions are tailored to your individual needs and goals.
For most, that means not thinking about what strength training or cardio workout they will do, nor how to warm up for it. At J3 our coaches set up your equipment, lead you through flexibility drills, get you warmed up and keep a watchful eye on you to ensure you're getting a great, safe workout. That hit of dopamine can cure any stress while improving your physique.
The Live Active 203 Podcast follows the mission of J3 Athletics; To Inspire Activity. The episodes range from health and fitness tips to inspiration to be better to businesses around the 203 area code that drive activity and health. Molly used to think her dad worked at a donut shop, because he always brought them home from work.
We've learned that bread is not the healthiest option for our bodies and often prevents us from having the body we want. A staple in the Springdale community, The Village Table has a very extensive breakfast and lunch menu. Their options for salads are amazing but sometimes you want something different.

J3 has been my home for over a year now. Once I started I haven’t looked back for a place to go for a great workout, quality coaching and a fun place to train while meeting new people. The community is so welcoming and the workouts are well thought out and can be scaled up or down based on what your fitness level may be. I highly recommend this facility. You see changes to your body immediately.

I started at J3 this past summer of 2021. I’ve seen a big difference in my fitness having increased strength and conditioning.. The coaching is top notch and the different workouts everyday make the programming a lot of fun. The gym is clean and organized with covid kept in mind so everyone has their own space (pod). The classes are kept tight so you get a lot of attention by the coaches which is a plus. It’s a very upbeat atmosphere with a lot of community events which makes J3 a special place.

I have been going to J3 for 3+ years now. James, Timmy B, and Liz genuinely care for you and are there to help you reach maximum potential. Classes are challenging, but fun! Much more engaging than going to gym on your own. I can’t ever go back to doing that. Members are motivational and are supportive. When you first start, it can be a humbling experience. If you put in the time and effort, going consistently leads to increased physical and mental well being. I’m proud to be a member and tell anyone. I highly recommended J3.

J3 is one of the best around! The workouts are so fun, and are all class-led by personal trainers who give hands on feedback. The trainers AND members are motivating, friendly & encouraging. There is no pressure ever! The atmosphere is great and the gym is spotless! Plus there are plenty of classes during the day to choose from. You will not do the same workout twice & you will see results!

I've met amazing people at J3, and I've never been fitter. The coaches/owners are encouraging and clearly care about you and your safety, and are proud of their work. The gym is clean, and the workouts are always varied, and planned well – easily scaled up or down for your level of comfort. Working from home can feel isolating at times, but J3 feels like a big group of friends that happen to like lifting heavy things too! I recommend this place every chance I get.

I joined J3 when they first opened. The workouts complement my active lifestyle both at work and during my down time.
The coaches have always been willing to adjust workouts depending on where I am on my fitness journey. Pushing me and encouraging me as needed.
The support and camaraderie of my fellows at 5:15 am always gives me a fun and energizing start to the day :-)

This gym is like no other. I would give it more than 5 stars if there was the option!
I took a 1-1 class with James and enjoyed it very much. I told him about a shoulder issue I was having and he was very mindful of it. So, I signed up for the 3 weeks of unlimited classes as a trial... When I took my first class Tim was coaching. The first thing he said to me was: “you have a shoulder problem, right? We’ll change one of the exercises for you.”. Tim was aware of my issue!!!! I was SO impressed by this. That’s caring!

If you are looking for a solid , high intensity workout but are worried about getting injured you should check out J3 Athletics. The coaching staff is very hands on and attentive to insure you are not only using weight you can handle but also doing the movement properly. It is a great family / team atmosphere to get yourself back in shape. Would recommend to any age group or level of fitness experience. Go check them out !!!!!
