Life Cycle is much more than a typical fitness boutique. Why? Well, first of all, as Downtown Stamford's Premiere Spin Studio, we use RealRyder bikes. These state-of-the-art bikes lean, turn, and tilt with your body, offering a total-body workout that's unmatched by any other stationary equipment. Second, you'll notice right away that we are a judgment-free family that breaks the cold, intimidating mold of many niche studios.
Last, but certainly not least, we round out our fitness regimen with specialty strength, cardio, and recovery classes.

I did a free week trial of lifecycle last year and am writing this now because I just tried out joyride on classpass. This place blows them out of the water!!! Golnar is an absolutely amazing instructor especially if you're new to cycling like myself. The bikes tilt unlike normal stationary bikes, the music is great, the lights are awesome, and the class pushes you in the best way! I love this place, if I wasn't so tight on funds I would definitely be a lifetime member :)

I tried lifecycle through ClassPass and I'm so glad that I did! It's such an aesthetically pleasing studio, from the location (right on Bedford st) to the personable, boutique-like feel. The classes are awesome (the bikes are like nothing I've ever tried before!) and for someone who gets anxious about trying new things, the class size is small enough where it's not intimidating + the staff is extremely helpful and friendly.
If you live in the stamford area and haven't gone, try their spin / TRX asap!

Awesome studio and fun instructors. If you're looking for a unique workout check this place out. Even if you're a beginner, give it a shot. The instructors are super welcoming and will help get you set up on the bikes. They're not your average spin bikes, they move! They offer classes early morning, morning and evening including cycle and TRX. Highly recommend!

Very unique experience on these bikes. If you have never tried it then highly recommend! You'll feel your abs working while cycling. Takes some time to get used to.
Environment is unlike your typical cycle studios, more inviting and down to earth. Studio is nice as well. Location good in the heart of Stamford.

Great first experience at LifeCycle - at first I was not sure what to expect with "bikes that move" but it was a lot of fun, and a killer workout.
The studio is easy to miss on Bedford St, it's right next to Lorca, a small door and downstairs. It's spacious though, with lockers, waters and snacks, some merch, and a few bathrooms.
The studio has about 20-30 bikes set up - since it was my first time, the staff was very helpful getting me set up and running through the process of the bike. The bikes move, which is fun, and it really enhances the work to your legs/butt and also

LifeCycle classes are thrilling and effective! My mind, body, and attitude towards working out have improved. Ryding is not easy and you often want to give up half way thru but Golnar, Igor, Brittany and all Ryders are so inclusive and encouraging. I am addicted and after a few days I’m like I NEED to go back!

I really enjoyed my LifeRyde class here! It was challenging (in a good way!), uplifting, and fun! The teacher was encouraging and motivating - I couldn't help but want to push myself a little more to get a stronger workout in. The class had 8 or so people in in, which is a really nice amount for a holiday weekend! I think it probably holds 15-20 people.
The studio was a little tricky to find - it's in the back of Noelle's up the stairs! I would have never guessed it was there before but it's easy to get to. Plenty of parking back there, too!

Took my first class last week and loved it. The bikes move left and right which makes you work harder and breaks up the monotony of riding straight ahead. The ride was challenging so I had to sit during some of the standing climbs...so now I'm motivated to go back and conquer! The owners are a nice couple who are trying to promote health over making a quick buck. Amazing for this area! Great workout with great people.

Lifecycle was a great experience for me. I was recommended by a friend who works at the current gym I'm at. The studio was inviting and very clean, the bikes were all really nice and a lot different then your normal spin bike but in a good way. I went on a Thursday night and took class with Maria who is absolutely wonderful. She's extremely knowledgeable and so helpful. Music was also great even though Maria said she was trying out a new playlist. The first class you take is free which is another great incentive to go.
All around wonderful experience, I will definitely go back.

I was looking for a way to get back into cycling and ran into the owner of the studio. She's got a great attitude, knew how to get me into the exercise in a good way, and pushed hard enough to make it a great workout but not so hard that I could still walk the next day!
I had a great time, and I've been back a bunch which is more than I can say for the regular gym!

I haven't been going to the gym like I should have, and am recovering from ACL replacement surgery so I'm avoiding high-impact exercise. I found out about LifeCycle and talked to the owner about the kind of exercise I was looking for, and my concerns about my injury. She was knowledgeable and understanding, and on top of that the classes with her and another instructor were motivating and they made sure I was pushed to the right level, but not past what was healthy.
It's a tough workout, but they made it really enjoyable and motivating and I've been returning steadily since
