You most likely understand the basic concept of what a home inspection is designed to do for you and the value it can bring. That a home inspection is a visual or normal operating mode inspection of the major components of the home as defined by the Texas Real Estate Commission's Standards of Practice.
If you have questions about this scope of inspection, we are happy to discuss it and answer your questions prior to scheduling. You are also probably aware of how large an investment your home purchase will be in the scheme of your financial life. WHY you should hire Absolute Inspections, LLC and Professional Home Inspector Kevin R. Weiss to perform your home inspection.

I see a home inspector as an essential advocate for their client. I have no vested interested in the overall transaction (I get paid my fee regardless of whether you buy the house.) I see this as a positive. I am 100% on your side, but I am not influenced by subjective factors, Realtors, cosmetics, values, commissions or any other outside influences.
Some inspection companies live by and even hide behind the Texas Real Estate Commission's (TREC) Standards of Practice for home inspection. They produce simple checklist reports based on the standards. While this is not wrong in and of itself, at Absolute Inspections we see things differently. The Texas Real Estate Commission standards are an important guideline.
Many people are surprised at the idea of paying for an inspection of their newly constructed home. It is our experience that having a One Year Warranty Inspection may be one of the wisest decisions you make regarding your home in the first year. This is a decision that could save you thousands of dollars down the road.
The concept of inspecting a newly constructed house before closing may seem a bit strange. You don't get a new car or appliance inspected. It is new. Unfortunately, the reality of the situation is that quality control and subcontractor supervision can be extremely spotty and questionable in the new home market in DFW.
Listing inspections also known as pre-listing inspections or seller inspections became popular during the housing recession of 2008. The basic idea is that the seller hires a home inspector to perform a home inspection before listing the home with the intent to find major or serious issues so that they can be repaired or at least accounted for in the asking price.
