Although I can drop a name or two of very exceptional staff members, 70% of the staff is rude, incompetent and looking for an excuse to dismiss the tiniest of requests. The security here is also very bad to say the least. We had a scary incident happen at our apartment a little while ago (we had to call and report to the police and everything) and we asked to change units which they agreed to. They didn't seem shook by what happened which leads me to believe that it wasn't at all the first time a security breach has happened! A month in and we have tried contacting them, talking to the manager

Nice size room but other than that I cannot wait until my lease is up! Staff will talk to you like you’re a child or just stupid and never knows any answers. Has no cameras for safety, maintenance is horrible!!! They are more worried about painting the buildings than actually listening to the residents and improving.

The most unprofessional leasing office I have ever been to. Don't expect any work orders to actually have been completed. You will get e-mails saying that work orders are done even though no one will show up at your unit. Not to mention they left me with no functioning A/C for three months in the summer when my unit reached 90 degrees and they did nothing about it until we tried to take legal action against them.

This property is not perfect but I can see that the staff is always putting forth effort and doing their jobs. Eric, a manager, is always responsive, caring, diligent, and friendly. The maintenance manager is also responsive, caring, diligent, and friendly. I usually have any minor maintenance issue resolved within a week. I have had no major issues. Some of the girls working at the front are not as friendly and chipper as the men, but they are not mean, rude, nor are they disrespectful. They do their job, which is what matters to me as a resident.

DONT LET THE GOOD PRICES FOOL YOU! I stayed at the Highland Ave location last year and my experience was absolutely terrible!! Floorboards were so creaky it kept me up MANY NIGHTS without sleep. Very poor management in some cases & the maintenance men are very disrespectful. They came one day to do maintenance and I come home to my kitchen completely trashed!! I know they seen the mess they made but didn’t even bother to clean it up! If you care about your peace of mind I’d advise you save your money & stay FAR AWAY from this place!!

Please save yourself and do NOT move here. This place is terrible all the way around. Staffing is horrible, maintenance is terrible. The managers are terrible. I contacted the manager, Au’Jordan O’Neil is regards to an incident and she ignored my mother & I numerous of times. When I first moved in, our unit wasn’t even up to par and looked nothing like the pictures provided online. They never take out the trash, it’s just horrible here all around. They want to host parties and cater to things that don’t matter instead of helping the students. They also towed half of the students cars

This was my son's 1st apartment. On move in day, they gave us keys that didn't work. This happened twice. The AC and wifi wasn't working on day 1. One week later, I checked on my son and the AC still isn't working inspite of his roommate filing a maintenance order earlier in the week. The dryer is broken so there is no way to dry his clothes. I'm still shocked but now I'm very upset at these horrible living conditions and poor management. Before signing a lease, read all the reviews and don't sign. Pay a little more to get a better apartment experience. We

I recently moved out in July. This will be my first and last review of this complex. I moved in three years ago and the quality has definitely declined. When I moved in, the staff was excellent and did a great job of building a sense of community and trust. After that first year, things started to go downhill. I was transferred to 3 bedroom. Maintenance is terrible. They took weeks to complete simple orders. They never completely fixed our AC and it went out multiple times. Let me start off by saying this, Do not stay at the Vic. You will be cat fished! First of all to check in, it was stated that there was an "express lane" for those that had already had payed rent so they could grab keys and go. Which was non existent.
Second the line was super long, they were calling out names like we were in 5th grade to get our keys, it was so unorganized.
Third I grab my keys and go to my room. It was terrible. I specifically asked for furniture in my room and a Roomate with no dogs. And of course I got no furniture and a dog in the room. Mind you the manger said

DO NOT LIVE HERE. They are crooks. They change rules weekly to try to charge you. They make all these promises when touring and they never keep them. When I signed they promised a $500 Visa card never got that. When I resigned my lease they promised a $250 Visa card never got that. Then they remodel all units and don't have enough money for the remodel they try to charge you for damages that never existed cause they don't have enough money for remodels.

The office staff is very friendly and the lounge area is as it appears on the website. However, that is the end of the positive notes on The Vic. The apartments are NOTHING like what they appear to be online and the short time that my child was a resident there, it was a complete nightmare for her!!!!! Filthy apartments, mold, lack of real support from management when told that roommates were smoking in the non-smoking unit....and reports of them smoking pot was only met with the response that my child should have called the police.

I live in the 4 bed 4 bathroom apartment, which are the nicest ones I believe. I have not had many bad experiences while being at The Vic but I do think it should be cleaned and inspected more often. My roommates and I have placed fix orders before and the maintenance guys take care of it quickly. I am renewing my lease because I think the price and style of the apartment is nice considering the area.
It is definitely not perfect, but The Vic is not bad considering other apartment complexes in the area. The Vic should install security cameras and enforce and trash & pet policies as some do

The management here is completely unprofessional, unorganized, and inefficient.
I went in to view an apartment, and the way the staff interacted with each other was so unprofessional. Their attitudes toward each other made me uncomfortable. I should have taken that as a sign, but I didn't.
Secondly, I put that I had a pet on my application, but when I received the email telling me how much I had to pay to move in, it didn't include the pet fee. Mind you, this is after my guarantor and I had already signed the lease and my move in day was two days after I received this email.

I wish I never moved here the leasing office is nice but my room my apartment I pay to stay in isn't stuff doesn't work in my unit things almost never get fix unless you keep go to the office and then when you go up there they act like you weren't just up there the day before complaining about the same problem just over living here can't wait for move out day

If you're not staying in a 4 bedroom apartment I do not recommend staying in this apartment complex at all. Outside of the 4 bedrooms the apartments are so called renovated but it's not the case. The pictures on the websites are sooo misleading The counter tops are replaced and the cabinets are just painted over and said as "new" when you can clearly tell they are not. My apartment was without wifi for a month and was not clean when I moved it. There was holes in the walls and doors. Shootings happened almost every night. There's even more but I don't even care enough
