The food was good but....... NO ONE UNDER THE AGE OF 21!!! Also, I guess because they are short of staff the waitress wasn't too personable and not very attentive. We felt like we were imposing every time we asked for something.

My boyfriend and I went to this restaurant on a Sunday evening. We could tell that the restaurant was extremely understaffed since we saw one waitress running back and forth in the dining room, I didn't get a great look at the dining room but it looked to be a quarter full but I definitely saw some empty tables. Someone was waiting to be seated ahead of us and the waitress/hostess came over to seat her and she looked very stressed out. We moved up in line to be seated and waited 15 minutes there and was never seated. She knew we were standing there and made eye contact with us several times

I'm being generous giving 3 stars - doing so because with COVID and labor shortages, especially in mountain towns, I feel we need to give places a break right now. We waited a good 10 minutes to be seated even though the waitress/hostess kept coming in from the dining room. I could see the issues were lack of clean tables (4 occupied, 6 dirty). She finally cleaned one and seated us. She was not friendly. My menu was gross, needing a good wipe down. Hubby's was ok. She did take our order right away but did not take a beverage order first. I had Eggs Benedict and hubby had an omelette

If you have the chance to stop by Magggies while in Cripple Creek-might i suggest you not. While we were there they were turning multiple guests away due to "slow kitchen service"-which was a quote from one of the servers. The servers were lackadaisical and their indifference for their job was obvious. The food fell right in line.

We came on 8/7/21 so the restaurant was understandably understaffed (like every restaurant in Colorado) so our wait times were a little long, but the three waitresses were working their tails off!!

They got some of the chips and salsa while we were waiting and holy crap those where some of the best chips and salsa I've ever had. Their well drinks are extremely inexpensive. We ordered the green chili smothered burger, and once again the fries were amazing (especially with the green chili on top). The southwestern chicken sandwich wasn't mind blowing, but on par quality and size wise.

Stopped by for dinner before theater down the street. Expansive menu, good choices all around. Typical American fare but cooked well with great flavors, which isn't always easy 9500 feet up.

Bonus: attached to a casino, so no kids allowed.

I can't rave enough about the burgers and other food items! I got the Colorado Southwestern Burger, 5 stars! The fries that came with it were super crunchy and delicious. Our waiters Tyler, was awesome! He had an amazing attitude and was very attentive. I highly recommend :)

My damn Club sandwich was a triple Decker! This place a great start off before gambling and drinking. My sandwich was amazing but I felt like I needed two mouths to fit in my mouth. Group of us and plenty to talk over good food. Did I mention their well drinks are only $1.75!!

Haven't been here in a few years so we were happy to get out and do some gambling. Stopped in for dinner and were greeted by Ingrid. Her very attentive service throughout our meal made this a very enjoyable experience. The homemade beef stew was outstanding! We are looking forward to coming back soon.

The staff here is amazing . All of the restaurants had long waiting lists but at Maggie's we were seated right away. The food was typical American fare. Burgers, fries, all made to orders. Ed is super nice and helpful and Madison was super sweet! If you're in cripple creek and need a quick bite these folks won't disappoint!

The atmosphere was nice. The waitstaff was nice, but practically nonexistent. The food tasted good enough, but my $13.50 burger and fries were overpriced for what I got. Everything did seem homemade.

Started off good. Cassie was very friendly seating us and got us water.
Waitress was Ingrid she was friendly but felt the need to pull her masked to talk to us. She took our order and that was the only time she came back to the table until our check. She walked by the table 3-4 times and never picked up the dirty dishes or asked about the food. My sandwich was a pulled pork sandwich. It was in chunks and very dry and well done. French fries were good. Another server had his mask around his neck the whole time we were there.

Fantastic food. Our server Ingrid was kind and warm on a cold Colorado evening when we and our friends stopped in to experience Cripple Creek's charm and have a bite to eat. Well worth your time and money. Eat here. You won't be disappointed.

We ordered to go lunch from here and were very pleasantly surprised. Food was very good, I had the BLT and my husband had fried chicken with fries. This place deserves a much higher rating than they have, and it's Covid so even more props.

Was a little skeptical about coming here based on the stars but once I read into the reviews I quickly realized that a lot of the reviews were from years ago. I am so glad we came here. Our experience... walking to the casino we were greeted by a nice guy that checked ids and took our temp (no contact), walked straight in and walked down a staircase to Maggie's. We were quickly greeted by our waitress, Ingrid. She sat us right away and took our drink orders. She also had a group of six or seven right behind us and sat them almost immediately after seating us and took care of both at the same

Went here tonight for the first time with a party of 6 adults, 4 kids and a baby. We were seated right away, our waitress came over shortly after. It was the end of the ice festival and she apparently had been pretty busy. I have to say, she was probably one of the best servers I've ever had. She was extremely helpful and polite. She singlehandedly took care of our entire table. The food came out quickly and everyone loved what they ordered. Obviously the kitchen staff was great as well. The burgers were huge, and the other items were giant too. No one left hungry!
I would make the drive

This is a great little spot to have lunch. It is quick, the service was great, and the drinks, if you wanted to drink in the early afternoon, were super cheap. The restaurant is connected to a casino.

I had the Border Burrito. It was good. It had pork green chili over the burrito. It had good flavor. The burrito was really big and served with refried beans and rice. There was way too much food, and if I had a refrigerator to store it, I would have eaten the meal for 4 more days. There wasn't anything exceptional about the meal.

Gambling really makes a person hungry.

After spending the afternoon exploring Bennett Ave, my husband and I needed something to soak up the well vodka we consumed for free at the nearby casino (all hail free drinks when gambling!) The locals we encountered highly suggested Maggie's, and now I know why - which I can describe in three words:
Cheap, Delicious Food.

We opted to split an order of wings, a side salad and an order of fries - all of which came out faster than expected! The small salad was kindly split into two separate salads (which were large!), which proved to be the perfect course

We (4 guys from Colorado Springs) went here for breakfast after a fun but very cold motorcycle ride. The food and coffee were delicious (and hot, thank God!) and the portions were generous. Waitress was great...quick, kind, and happy.

Entering the dark, somewhat dingy unadorned restaurant, I expected the worst, and just ordered the easiest thing on the menu: chicken quesadilla.

It was great! The I saw a salad order at another table: Big and Beautiful! Had to get me one! Fresh and crispy! So much for first impressions!

Staff was very friendly and attentive, quickly seated, given internet pw, took order, food arrived soon afterward and server checked to ask about Quality.
