My wife and I just spent the night there. Josh was fantastic...from reserving a great room as it was my wife's birthday, to accommodating an early check-in. The room was exceptionally clean and comfortable! The location "off the strip" provides for a very quiet atmosphere. Would definitely recommend Gold Fever for anyone visiting Cripple Creek! Dave

We got our room from the radio shopping show at a fair price. The view from our room was pleasant, and the hospitality was fantastic. Our room was very spacious. We had our own fridge microwave. cabinets for more storage. They have the set up to feel really homely. Another plus about this place is they have a shuttle to pick up and drop off to and from the casinos. I would highly suggest this place to someone who wants a comfortable stay in cripple creek .

The staff is truly Amazing and friendly, joe is AWESOME! Treated us like family , anything we needed he was there to help, made our stay inviting and welcomed .
Only issue is there beds are hard as a brick , if they had softer mattresses it would've been better , the two nights there we hardly slept cause of that.
Otherwise I could see coming back just because of the staff they have !

My husband and I stayed a The Gold Fever Inn last night. I can say Midnight Joe and the staff were great! The rooms and bed linens were clean and we had a great night of sleep! It took just a few minutes to get to the main road to reach the casinos. Nothing negative to say about this hotel. We'll be back the next time we visit Cripple Creek!

My reviews of all businesses in Cripple Creek are biased. Each time I come into town I put on the most wonderful rose colored glasses. All the food in town is exquisite, the hotels are unmatched, the service is superb and the people are the friendliest. Gold Fever Inn is no exception. The man at the counter always had an amusing story or joke handy and the staff quickly accommodated each request. I look forward to staying here again.

My husband and I stayed here a few weekends back and what a nasty hotel. There is dust all over, carpets look so worn and gross, bathroom towels are all stained, the bathrooms made me miss mine at home and the people next to us were smoking and drinking being loud all night. Plus the elevator was broken! The owner should be ashamed of himself! I'd be so embarrassed if I owned this dump. The only nice person was Joe and he was helpful and pleasant. This town of Cripple Creek is depressing and maybe fun for old retired people to blow their retirement money at the casinos, but not very family friendly

The hotel is well maintained, the room was very clean and comfortable. We stayed in one of their rooms with a full-size fridge and microwave, which was really convenient. The staff were all great, friendly and accommodating. The night clerk even brought his awesome dog to work! It is about 2 blocks away from downtown, close enough to walk to the casinos, but far enough away that the room is nice and quiet. Great place, great rates, good value

Leaving Cripple Creek to head home to Divide around 1am on a weekend night, but the fog was too thick. Busy weekend with no hotel rooms available. Called several places in town, and this was the only one that had a "no show" and could offer us a room for the night. The clerk was super nice and gave us a good rate, and offered us snacks and a warm sandwich to take back to the room. The room was small but very clean, and they provided all the toiletries you could need. Just thankful to be able to get a good night sleep without trying to drive home in the fog, which would have been very dangerous
