Amenities are great and rooms look good but parking here is horrible. There’s never enough guest parking spots and maintenance is bad. Park West is only good as a last resort option.

Management is awful . Took weeks for any of my maintenance problems to be taken care of. It got so bad to the point to where my dishwasher leaked all the way into the hall it took maintenance a week to come & they only came because they saw water leaking through the wall. I have received numerous ridiculous charges. They need to take care of the bigger problems like fixing the broken hot tub instead of harassing the people that live here. I will forever continue to tell everyone I meet about how awful this place is. There are so many nice student living apartments don't fall the for "

Don't live here if you have friends.. there is absolutely NO visitor parking. Any time you show up there are 5 cars waiting to fight for one visitor spot to open up. Super annoying. There are better options in college station.

I didn't think I would have to do this but here I am. I have lived here not even a full semester and I have had almost every necessity in my apartment break. No one ever answers any calls and it takes forever to get someone to fix things. I didn't have AC in my apartment for a week which I'm pretty sure it is illegal in Texas (except if there is a natural disaster). They lost a package that cost me $300 and they refuse to reimburse me. My friend also had a phone coming in the mail and they lost that as well. The employees are some of the most rude people I've ever met. I get

I moved into a broken apartment. Refrigerator does not close causing a lot of food in there to go bad within 2 days. Vent in the restroom does not work and drips water. The shower is clogged. My AC in my room does not work. Oh and btw it’s been two months and they haven’t fixed a single one of these issues. I had to spend my own money and time to unclog my shower drain. When I spoke with the management they stated they were understaffed in terms of maintenance workers. I asked them why they didn’t fix these issues before the move in date and they stated that they don’t inspect units before

This is my second year with parkwest. I’ve somewhat good experiences with this place until two days ago…
I had to go the emergency at 4 am and my friend picked me up, because of my condition she decided to come back and stay with me for couple hours to make sure I am okay. We came by 5:00 am and the guest parkings were FULL. We waited about 30 min and still no spots emptied. So I called the 24/7 parkwest line, explained my situation and asked if we can park in the one empty “future resident parking” and the answer was NO, then I re-explained my situation and asked if we can just park it

Amazing experience with Park West. Specifically, their ability to fulfill work order requests in a timely manner, despite being understaffed is very impressive. One of their employees, John, has been the guy fulfilling our work order requests. He manages to complete them efficiently while doing it with a smile. Overall, very satisfied!

Park West is a great place to live! They have great amenities and maintenance was always very quick to respond to work orders. Especially the worker named John who kept coming back until our fan was fixed! Overall a nice place and very safe for students.

Love this apartment but the parking RUINS it. I live in a one bedroom flat and cannot have anyone visit me due to the lack of guest parking. It takes my friends 20-45 minutes to find a spot because there are only 30 available, that is if they find a spot at all. I asked the resident life office if it was possible for me to purchase an additional surface parking pass for the same price as my own and they refused. I had family coming to visit for the weekend and asked if I could purchase a temporary pass just so my parents wouldn’t have to deal with the issues, I was told that they no longer offer

If I could give no ratings I would. there's never any parking, no one ever picks up the phones or returns calls, maintenance takes forever to respond, the breaker in our apartment goes out once a day, the plumbing here is poor, the dishwasher breaks consistently, and not to mention they charge for almost anything that remotely INCONVENIENCES the staff. If you lock yourself out at anytime after 5PM, it's a $25 charge to get back in. If you lose a package, they won't help. If you damage anything, no matter how small, it's an immediate fine for the entire worth of the object you

Their rooms are fairly nice, but their maintenance is absolutely abysmal. My garbage disposal has not worked for three months, I have put in three maintenance requests and every time it's been deleted without anyone even showing up to look. The sink floods every night with gray water and chunks of food, and no matter how many times I call to complain they do nothing. If you live here you will essentially be living in your own house, nobody will be coming to fix anything that goes wrong.

I would strongly advise not living at park west. This is now my second year here and I regret releasing so much. Last year I didn't have many problems except for the fact that at two separate occasions a random person walked into my apartment and said they were moving in that day. I had NO warning from park west and was forced to let random people I did not know move in because I was living in a 4 bedroom unit with two empty rooms. This year I decided to move into the flats because the Park West people told me it was the best place to live... that was a lie. When I moved in the AC my room was not

We moved our daughter into Park West Apartments yesterday. What a huge disappointment. The fact that it was dirty was nothing. They were put into a handicap apartment. The shelves are so low in the kitchen that they can't put things on the counter. The area under the sink is open so you see all the plumbing cables, wires, disposal. The stove and refrigerator are smaller than in a regular apartment. The regular one has a sliding glass door they have a small door and the patio is filthy. The island in the middle is much smaller.
It'd be great for someone in a wheelchair to get around but

Park west was one of four complexes i lived in while at tamu. this is by far the cleanest and nicest complex i've stayed in. i only had one maintenance issue during the year and a half that i lived there and it was promptly fixed. the three pools and three gyms were typically in very nice condition though it was unfortunate that they were closed due to covid. the four bus stops were extremely convenient and the study rooms/hangout areas and cafe/convenience store in the main building were very nice to have. only issue i had with the complex was with parking. the additional parking spaces added

To be fair, Park West is more affordable than some options in this general class of apartments. And, with COVID, many of the usual pluses of PW have been shut down. That said, if you're looking to get out of the "dorm experience," this ain't the place. Yes, it's newer, but still has the dorm feel. And even though this place is fairly new, the poor maintenance is already starting to show. A/Cs seem to break regularly, bathrooms seem much older than they are. A pile of broken glass sat outside by a door for weeks -- apparently it was nobody's job to clean it up.

This is the 2nd year my daughter is at Park west. I have had issues with the cleanliness of the place. Both times she's moved into a new apartment I've had to thoroughly clean it because Park West didn't.
Our 1st apartment was filthy and had someone's stuff in it. They need to realize their liability, especially during these times with COVID, that they are putting students at huge unnecessary risk.
She moved out from her first apartment since March and we did a renewal contract around October of last year. They asked us to pay $250 because we requested her to move out from

They used to be good when I first moved in. Kinda. What I don't understand is the need for an answering service DURING BUSINESS HOURS??? Especially when literally all you're doing is practically leaving a voicemail for the apartment complex because the people who answer for the answering service do not know anything about the complex and can only "take a message" for someone at the complex to call you back. Don't expect a call soon though, it will take minimum 3 days.

Oh and even their management can't answer questions with actual answers about anything. It is always

During orientation I called to see if they could give us a tour of the complex since we had gotten the apartment sight unseen. They were super nice on the phone and told us to just drop by.
Once we got there we were greeted by many smiling faces! Sidney was great and gave us an awesome tour and introduced us to so many people there. I feel great about leaving my freshman son there and know that his needs will be met and that he will be safe.
Thank you Park West leasing office for being so kind! Sidney even gave us a few goodies to take home... can't thank y'all enough!

After living at park west for a semester I can say it's a reasonably affordable , decently nice , averagely friendly place to live .
It has really great amenities for the price , but everything is so cheaply made . This place is barely a year old and paint is already cracking , doors and wall hangers breaking , and ceiling residue appearing .
It's also quite a hassle to get up as it has much more of a hotel set up then your normal apartment .
