Definitely check out other apartment complexes. We lived in a two bed 1 and 1/2 bath the apartment itself was okay decent enough to live in but then we became pregnant and due to the high risk the stairs weren’t safe for the pregnancy. We had asked to move to a one bedroom and they automatically declined, never listened to anything we said. Then we provided a medical note to move out and that really ragged them and suddenly they could move us to a one bedroom. But we made other plans because we had been told no. They decided to not listen or be considerate and charge us. Luckily we already got

For the price you really can't do much better. There's definitely some issues but if you're not utterly spoiled you can deal with them. It's really close to campus and the staff is usually pretty helpful, if a bit overwhelmed at times. The laundry is nothing to rave about, but that's not Eastgate's fault, it's the machines' company. But honestly I've enjoyed my time here and I'll keep recommending it for those who want a decent place for a decent price and who can deal with the few issues there are.

I lived at Eastgate apartments and overall had a very negative experience, and my quality of living was low. While the staff and my neighbors were excellent and the location and price were close to campus and convenient. I felt like I had an overwhelmingly stressful time here and wish I had paid a little more to live somewhere else first. When I moved in the previous owners had a few dogs, I had to re-clean the carpet when I moved in because I found excessive dog hair still in the carpet. I also had to repaint the walls because there were stains.
For 8 months during my stay I had a leaking window

I lived at Eastgate Apartments for about a year and found it to be a quiet little place that served its purpose well for the price. It's close to campus, has a bus stop right outside, and is maintained fairly well.
I rented one of the 'renovated' apartments which means I got newer appliances and maybe a new coat of paint on the walls. The apartments itself was in 'ok' shape. There were paint specs on the floor in multiple rooms from careless painters, the cabinets were scuffed up a bit, and the bathroom left some to be desired in terms of repairs. With that said however, the price and location

If you listen to my review, you will NOT regret.
If you don't listen to my review, you WILL REGRET.
DO NOT live here.
Yes, this apartment is cheap, close to the campus, the bus stop is right in front of it, it is quiet. But, that's it.
Horrible experience. I really want to get the f**k out of here as soon as possible. Thank god the lease will be over in a few months.....

Take a second thought before you signed the lease!! This place gave me a little quiet home at the first impression. However, even before I move in, I felt like they are short of staff. They seldom replied my emails and phone calls. I have to call several times to get answered. How could you expect someone to help you if they didn't communicate with you?
I'll see if things get better when I move in.
