Absolutely horrible. They were EXTREMELY rude from the get-go when my roommate and I provided doctor’s proof of need for accommodations for disabilities, going so far as to lie to us about our rights. Have had a plethora of problems, from our fridge breaking to our furnace spewing smoke to our carpet (and ceiling) being soaked from water leaking. The water leak is a few days old and still hasn’t been fixed. Best part of it all is that we had a mouse infestation for three or so months, and it took MULTIPLE maintenance requests and phone calls for it to be solved, but not after they tried finding

Overall, an expected starter apartment for OSU student. For what it was, it definitely could have been cheaper, that complaint can go for any OSU off campus rental though. When we got there it definitely stunk of cat or some animal, and that smell has never gone away. Within two days of living there, we smelled a gas leak. The maintenance man came and checked the stove and said it was fine. However, we called Columbia gas on their emergency line and what do you know our gas water heater had a leak (which was never checked). This definitely scared me, especially with no carbon monoxide alarm pre

My daughter just moved into a GAS property off campus. So far so good. They have taken care of maintenance request very quickly and Nikki has always been very helpful. Move in was 2 days early and went very smoothly.
I gave them a 4 star instead of 5 because they said they painted, but don't think they did. They did replace carpets in bedrooms which was nice. Old building, but new windows and shower.

My experience with G.A.S. Properties has been very pleasant so far. The office workers are very nice and happy to help with whatever you need, which is amazing in contrast to the rude workers I have met renting through other companies. The best thing about this company is that their maintenance requests are completed within a day or two, which was a God send when our heat went out in the middle of January. The apartments aren't the nicest, but when you are a college student on a budget this is the best that money can buy. If you are considering renting through this company, I would definitely recommend

One of the worst companies I have ever rented from. When we moved in we found roaches infested in our apartment. We called as we were moving in because it was so bad and there should not be roaches in the house in the first place. They told us that they had sprayed the day before, so they knew about the roaches, did not inform us and expected the problem to be resolved by the next day when we moved in. I am allergic to roaches and told them I could not live there until it was fixed. They told us there were not that many roahes and we were over exaggerating so we had to send them pictures. It was

Lived with four different leasing companies while I was in college. GAS was easily the best. Handled maintenance calls within 24 hours and had no major issues while living with them. Apartment could have been a little better, but it’s a college place so I can’t complain. Laundry was pricey though. $1.75 for each machine.

I rented from gas for one year; I regret it and wish I would’ve taken my time to read reviews and search for a different landlord. Upon moving in our apartment was not only dirty and looked like it hadn’t been cleaned but was also infested with fleas leading to multiple treatments needing done to our floors and our carpet needing completely replaced. On top of this, our AC broke and leaked water all over our new carpet and our heater broke more than once in the winter months as well. Also, do not expect to get your security deposit back from them as they will scam you out of it by charging

I had a very good experience with this rental company. Maintenance gets issues resolved the same day or the next day. They were very helpful and kind when I needed to get someone to sublease and answered all of my various questions about the process. My particular apartment was a bit old and it showed, but that's about the same with every other apartment near campus that you are going to get. Good location and allowing pets is a plus.

I rented an apartment at their Lane Ave and Indianola Ave location. These people are criminals. Poor property management. The stairs and balcony constantly had huge pieces of metal falling off of them. The water heater was constantly breaking and it would take days for them to fix it. When I moved out they stole $600 of my deposit. They charged me $149 for carpet cleaning and guys were there tearing the carpet out of my apartment while I was moving out. They charged me for holes in the walls that were documented when I moved in. Don't rent from these people, they are liars and cheats

I am currently renting with GAS properties and have had a mixed experience. The apartment is nice enough, not perfect but certainly adequate for a college student, and there is plenty of room in the kitchen, bathroom, living room, and bedrooms. I live in a double with one other roommate and have seen apartments made for 4 or more people with smaller kitchens and bathrooms, so I am easily satisfied with the space. I am happy with the price too, especially for how close my apartment is to campus. The landlords were incredibly nice, helpful, and we're willing to talk anytime and answer all of my questions

I've had a pretty positive experience renting from gas properties. The apartment I rent is spacious, close to campus and has a reasonable monthly rent. The management and maintenance workers have always been nice and have been timely at fixing any problems that have arisen. My only complaint would be the unreliablility of the washers and driers in the laundry room of the apartment complex. I have had to pay to use multiple driers in order to get my clothes dry on a couple occasions. Compared to many of the slum lords in the campus area, GAS properties has been wonderful. I fully recommend thier

These landlords are unscrupulous, dishonest slum lords preying on students. My daughter rented from them in what I trust was an illegal dwelling attached to their offices. She had feces running down her kitchen wall from the mal functioning commode in the apartment above. Their "maintenance staff". used her paper towels to wipe the mess off the walls-the extent of their repair as the wall bowed and dark liquid continued to weep through th wall. when she moved and I requested a walk through, they refused to provide any paperwork-too busy. They were threatening and menacing. Nice prior

I had rented from this landlord thirty years ago with a decent experience, so I trusted to let my daughter rent from this company. It certainly has changed. They don't even do the minimum amount of maintenance and the office manager lies about when they will come out to do repairs, and then lies about what he said on the phone. Recently when my daughter called me because she had fainted and was ill; we discovered that her furnace was broken and was releasing carbon monoxide gas at very dangerous levels. It is a miracle that she did not die in her sleep. When the office was contacted they
