The buildings and neighborhoods are yours. It doesn't matter whose name is on the deed or what's been zoned for what. They were built and created for people like you to live in, work in, learn from, and discover. We don't think it was anyone's intention to plan something and never have it happen. Or to build something only to have it sit vacant deteriorating for decades.

The apartment has a great staff who is very helpful and kind. The location is perfect with access to great restaurants, coffee shops, and other local stores. I have had zero issues with the apartment and am a big fan of how pet friendly it is!

Very easy to get in touch with with any maintenance issues. Apartments have great finishes and are spotless when move in day came around. Location is fantastic with its proximity to the short north, but far enough away to not have the noise be an issue.

This place has some of the worst management I’ve ever experienced. I would give it 0 stars if I could. Emily, in particular, is especially useless as a manager. They are not timely and have a lot of hidden fees. Do yourself a favor and look else where!

If I could give them 0 stars I would. Ridiculous to say the least. I had full intentions on moving in and they gave my apartment away without any notice or even calling me. Emily was rude on the phone about it as well and unwilling to compromise. Do yourself a favor and spend your dollars in a better complex.

I lived in Battery B for a year. Would have loved to stay but work took me elsewhere.

The Apartment -
Great space for a single or couple, plenty spacious for my preferences. Very modern and updated finishes and appliances. Washer and dryer in unit. Clever floorplan allows for a large and sunny living room, with a nicely removed bedroom to make for a nice spatial design. I lived on the 3rd floor which had a stylish vaulted ceiling with sky lights (easily noticeable from the outside of the building).

Other notes:
-Loved the waterfall style shower head
-Very quiet and well constructed units

I've lived here for about a year with no problems. This apartment strikes me as a great value too. The downsides, if there are any, are mainly that the hot water heater will only support a 4-minute shower, but that doesn't justify taking a star away in my mind. Feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions about living here!

This was by far one of the best experiences in all of my years of living in Columbus. The location and price cannot be beat, as well as the property management team. Tammy and Rebecca were just absolutely amazing to work with during my time at Battery B. Any maintenance issues were dealt with right away and resolved, the neighborhood and neighbors were amazing, and it is the most dog- friendly place in Columbus. The only reason that I did not renew my lease is because I purchased a condo downtown for a great deal. These apartments are so attractive that I am actually designing my condo from the

Rented from these folks for a year, had to move due to work. The apartment is gorgeous, and really not too pricey for what you get. Location in Italian Village is great and my apt had a very modern look (new build).
I'd say that the noise between apartments was higher than I'd like, but not too bad most of the time.
Staff were accommodating and responsive to requests for information or maintainance. The three times I had service requests, the response was prompt and everything was taken care of professionally and quickly.
All in all, I'm sad to see this go! Leaving Columbus for an emploumemp

The location is good, but the apartments are not well built and you can hear almost everything your neighbors do, or voices of people outside. My window leaked for almost a year after I moved in and the unit I lived in always had a small pond outside my front door, but I do think that maintenance has improved somewhat since it initially opened. Parking is difficult for guests as there is a limited parking lot and no available parking nearby. There is only one trash dumpster which is near the Jeffrey/Metalworks so I had to walk a pretty long distance to dump trash. The floor plans are a little awkward

I lived at Battery B for four years and the ONLY reason I moved out is because I moved in with my boyfriend. Otherwise, I would have stayed in my perfectly sized apartment for one (plus pup) as long as I could! After living in many different rentals in Columbus over the course of 14 years, I have had my fair share of poor landlords - Tammy Popp is a breath of fresh air by comparison and so is the maintenance team. Any time I have ever had a maintenance issue, it has been fixed within 24 hours. Non-maintenance inquiries are always answered quickly by Tammy, and I even had an urgent issue after I

I had the loudest neighbors who would blow coke till 8am / pee off the balcony. Most tenants are professionals, some are quiet college kids, rarely 1 or 2 are this bad. My negative review comes from JDS's failure to do literally anything. It will take about 3 emails to initiate a response from Tammy Popp, she is combative and rude the entire time. When it rains, the wooden walk ways becomes useless as rain pours between the cracks. Everyone hears everything, these apartments are not made well. Our mail is awful, sometimes they bring packages to the door, sometimes they leave everything in a big

I have lived here for about a year and a half and have had no issues. The maintenance requests get resolved within a day or two. The staff is friendly and they do a good job keeping the property clean and well kept. The gym needs updated though.

Battery B: I loved this apartment so much, but the landlord was completely impossible to get a hold of and work with. We had things break in our apartment that would be broken for months because she didn't respond to my many emails. Our windows wouldn't close for almost the full last year we lived there because they were "waiting on a part" to fix it.

If I was just basing it off the apartment, I would definitely give 5 stars. Battery B is an awesome place!!

Live in battery B for 1 year. Unit 200 had floor to ceiling windows. We only used our heat maybe 3 times during the winter. I had a concern with the big windows with heating in the winter but this was not a issue. We loved the company so much we moved to The Jeffrey which across the parking lot and is the same company. Security cameras are in the parking lot and it not just for looks, if any issue comes up management either already is on top of it or will review to solve any problems.

DO NOT MOVE HERE. I will 100% be moving out of this complex as soon as my lease ends (sooner if possible). I have never had a worse experience with a complex than I have had with Battery B.

While I enjoy the actual apartment, you can tell it was finished too quickly. When I moved in, the floors were filthy and the property manager told us they would not clean them again, even though my unit was being toured by others almost daily until I moved in. The floorboards don't meet the walls (therefore bugs easily get in), there was a hole above my shower head (that still isn't fixed, more

I would score a 2.5/5 if possible but based off of the Yelp criteria my experience has been closer to "Meh" than "A-OK". My fiance and I moved in this May and haven't had the experience we expected from a luxury apartment.

We signed our lease while the property was still under construction so we did not have the final product to observe before signing but we had a good idea after a lengthy tour. Unfortunately the best way to sum up this property is a GREAT idea that was executed in a mediocre fashion. The quality of construction/materials seems to be lacking. Examples

Moved into my unit about a month ago and am loving it! The windows are large and let a ton of natural light into the apartment, which makes for happy Saturday mornings reading on the sofa and munching on an egg sandwich from the Fox in The snow which is a short 5 minute walk away! Everyone at the company has been friendly and helpful and are very responsive if you have a question. The rain shower is wonderful and has great pressure. My goldendoodle actually prefers the shower over the baths he used to get. Floors are easy to keep clean and I recommend getting a washer and dryer in your unit. Haven

I moved into Battery B (from out of state, site unseen!) early February of 2015. It's a brand new complex, and very modern! I have a ground floor 1 bedroom apartment. My main contact through the renting process was Jenny Zhang- she is so kind and amazing. She worked with my time constraints, and was/is always available for any questions or issues that might arise. She made the whole transition to Columbus so easy.

The complex is in a great area, a few blocks from the Short North and High St., and only 2 miles from downtown. It's quiet and safe, and haven't noticed any crime in
