Started an application and paid the fees only to find out nobody would get back to me even after they overcharged me. I called at least 12 times with no answer and e-mailed many times. Started a second application for the same apartment and they charged me more application fees (which they said would be refunded). During this time and even after being given the cost of the apartment, they raised it $400.00 not between the first and second time, but after I paid the second set of application fees that I was told would be refunded. "We are working on refunding your application fees. . . " one rep

These apartments had such great potential but with the staff that doesn't respond in a timely manner and they push maintenance requests out and with the smells in the hallway I know that's not the staff's fault because people aren't taking care of their pets but on the site it says 35 lb limit on pets but I've seen several huge dogs within a lot of these apartments so that falls on the staff for not making sure the rules are followed and then they want to add some concessions in the lease about charging people a fine for not putting the trash and recycles in the proper

Never rent here, I've had nothing but problems since Coastal Ridge took over. My unit lost power on a 90 degree day a few months ago, and I spent an entire day on the phone with the management and AEP trying to restore it. They never once took responsibility for the problem nor apologized for the inconvenience. They never even did a move-out walkthrough with me. They are terrible at responding to emails, phone calls, voice mails, etc. And to top it all off, I got charged for three weeks of power bills after I moved out because the management company never took back control of the AEP account. I've lived here almost 4 years, and except for a few glitches during the changeover from Edwards Urban to Coastal Ridge management, everything about the place has been excellent. The location is great -- in the heart of downtown but far enough from the main corridor(s) so that we don't get trapped during parades and marathons, and a mere block away from the downtown Hills Market, with other eating and coffee shops just as close. The maintenance of the building is also great -- less than 24-hour response time to work orders and meticulous cleaning of the building. And my apartment is a jewel --

I honestly don't understand some of the negative reviews on here. I have a feeling there may be more to the story than what they are revealing. I've been here a little over a month and so far it's been as expected. The apartment complex itself is a bit older (relative to the plethora of newer units in downtown) as a result I do expect a bit of wear and tear. I do have to add to another reviewer on here that the current management is extremely poor at communication. Of course they can be easily located whenever they want something from you (like a payment) but otherwise can't

I moved here 3 years ago when Edwards managed the property. Ever since Costal Ridge took over, I have had nothing but problems.
Soon after Costal Ridge took over, security went severely downhill. Our front door was often broken. The fob would not lock or the glass to the door would be shattered. Apartments were being rented as Air BnBs. Packages… would go missing. Not only were cars in the garage (closed entrance and exit) broken into, but a car was stolen. This is completely unacceptable. It wasn’t until after all of this happened that I started to see security around the building

I agree with another one of the most recent posts- DO NOT move here in the near future. I work 8-5 everyday and haven't been able to use ANY of the amenities (coffee, pool, gym) due to their "safety guidelines", aka, a way for them to profit off of COVID, in 4+ months. AND they are not responsive / not offering rent discounts, even though I am paying for all of the amenities. Going to try and contact other residents / legal council this upcoming week to see if there's anything I can do since the property has been very unresponsive / dodging emails and calls.

Zero review stars because I'm that upset about the management that took over less than a year ago. They do not care about safety at all and a handful of apartments have been broken into. The garage is way over priced for there not being safety measures in place and it shows as many vehicles have been rummaged through and a couple stolen. Serious mold issue on windows that is related to cheap construction and can't be easily fixed. Management ignores residents calls. Even have tried to get cars towed out of the spot I pay for multiple times and management does nothing, leaving me to have

Moved here almost 2 years ago and have loved living here! The apartment is great, service repairs are quick, the amenities are a huge bonus (particularly the clubhouse since my boyfriend and I love to host!) The location is also ideal for us. Feel as though prices are a little on the higher end for the Columbus area, but because of all of the above, feel as though it is worth it!

Since Coastal Ridge Real Estate took over from Edwards Community Management. Everything has gone down hill. From the secure parking lot being accessible to vagrants. To several apartments being used as AirBnB rentals. We have had vehicles stolen and broken into. The security cameras do not work. Trash building up outside by the dumpster. The stench from the dumpster is ridiculous. You cannot sit on your porch, not to mention open your windows without gagging! These issues started to arise soon after Coastal Ridge took over. The employees are posting positive reviews in order to get their ratings
