A home inspection is a visual, non-invasive inspection of a property. We have to remember that we are a guest in someone else's home; therefore we cannot tear into their walls or rip up their flooring. We will look at anything and everything that we can safely inspect. Would not recommend. Paid for inspection, moved in and found obvious long term water damage to wood in our basement that was visible. Also, two outside faucet bibbs were broken upon moving into the house. The Bibb leaked into our basement and I had to rip up our carpet and take out drywall. I was available during the last hour of the inspection. I personally found mouse feces throughout the basement that was missed by the inspector as well. Stated our wall was bowing and needed reinforced. Paid to have a structural engineer come out to evaluate the wall, was structurally sound. Attempted to call

Jon and Jason are wonderful! I've been a realtor for 7 years and refer them as an option to every one of my clients! Their eye for detail is impeccable and they do a great job at explaining items that are issues or that need maintenance over time. They are the best for first time home buyers! And their reports are the most detailed I've ever viewed. They're also wonderful to call while showing a home to answer any questions I have or to follow up on a previous report, even months later. Jon did an incredibly thorough and detailed inspection of our future house. We received his report quickly with tons of detail (38 pages!) and annotated photos. His report was very well organized with a short list of significant issues at the top, along with pages of detailed maintenance recommendations. I would highly recommend Comprehensive Dwelling Evaluations for your home inspection!

CDE did an awesome job of inspecting our future home. Jason, our inspector, was very thorough and went over the property twice. He was very detailed in what he was doing and willing to explain the steps he was going through while the inspection happened. I have no problem recommending this company for home inspections as I would easily use them again in the future. I would also recommend asking for Jason
