Our group training program was created to help achieve your personal fitness goals in a community environment. Each group training session is crafted to challenge you and help you reach peak fitness while our trainers provide the guidance and encouragement. Whatever your groups goal and level of fitness is, our team of Coaches are devoted to creating a fitness plan based on our community centered approach to fitness.
TEMPO Fitness is a family owned boutique style gym with the mission to help people achieve their fitness goals and promote health and wellness within the Ballard neighborhood. We understand both the value of time and the importance that fitness has in people's lives. Our programs are designed with all of that in mind.
Our live and on demand virtual classes are the perfect solution for exercising safely from your home. TEMPO Live offers several different classes and exercise styles for you! Our virtual class option continue to provide multiple forms of high intensity workouts. They have been designed with home training in mind and come in a variety of options, giving you the power to decide what exactly you want to work on today.
If you're joining us for a complimentary class or starting your membership, wear clothes that feel comfortable for you to move in. Clean, indoor-only gym shoes are preferred. Please wear a face mask when entering and at all times before and after workouts. Mask wearing is optional during workouts. Whether they're written down or in your head, we want to know how we can help you reach those fitness goals.

This gym is fun and I can get a quick workout. There’s not as much community as at a CrossFit gym, but with COVID that’s a challenge even at CrossFit. I’m not a serious athlete or working on my physique, but there to stay active. This place is perfect for me.

This gym is the best! The trainers, and owners, actually care about me and my fitness goals. I have been a member of so many different gyms, and at Tempo, I am not just another number. The workouts are effective, and so much fun! I highly recommend this gym to anyone.

Knowledgeable trainers, clean space, and overall a great workout in 36mins. I've been training with Quinn, who is very flexible on timing and always brings the best out of me. Every workout is great. I would recommend Fit36 to anyone who wants to try high intensity interval training!

Since my last review I have kept up my workouts at Fit36 and still love the studio. They have changed the format a couple of times which allows for a different challenge and for muscles to be worked in different ways. Monthly challenges keep you motivated and the trainers and front desk staff keep you wanting to come back. I feel stronger than I have ever felt.

Great studio and awesome trainers!!! I've been coming to Fit 36 for the past 4 months and have thoroughly enjoyed it. The trainers push me outside my comfort zone, correct me in postures, and are overall a great energy to be around. The studio is clean and there are a variety of modifications to exercises that the trainers encourage you do if you have an injury, etc.
If you enjoy HIIT workouts, then this is the studio for you! I cannot recommend it enough!

I love this gym! It's a great workout, helps me build a solid foundation, but also doesn't drain me so I can still trail run, mountain bike, climb, ski, etc. on the days I don't go to FIT36. The coaches are all super nice and the facility is clean and has everything to do a variety of different fitness routines.

I’ve loved my Fit36 experience. 3 months in and haven’t lost interest yet! Great instructors help keep me motivated. The workouts are intense and effective and just the right length so I can give it my all the whole time. Highly recommend Ballard Fit36.
Update: coming up on 2 years at Fit36 and I am going strong. I’ve been very happy with the workouts, instructor support, and meeting other members of my Fit36 community. Highly recommend the studio and program.

Phenomenal workout! The workouts are challenging and efficient and there's absolutely no time wasted. They have excellent coaches, friendly staff and clean facilities. If you want to get in shape or if you want a challenging supplement to what you already do, I'd highly recommend Fit36!

Excellent workout, only 36 minutes and after years of traditional and non traditional gyms I get a much better work out in half the time.
Facility and staff are top notch, studio is spatious (even with a full class never feel crowded) and meticulously clean.
Trainers and ownership are incredibly professional and helpful. I find myself totally hooked on the gym and the workouts!
Worth every penny so far!

Fit36 is an efficient & effective workout. It's 36 minutes of high intensity circuit training with a mix of cardio & weights/resistance, alternating between 3 workouts every 2 weeks. The workouts can be a bit leg intensive at times.
Tommy & Katherine are great coaches. They are enthusiastic, passionate, and always working to improve our form and strength. It would be great if there were afternoon & evening classes on Saturday and Sunday.
