When purchasing a new or used home, you need to know what condition the home is in prior to purchase. There are good houses and there are bad houses. There are fixer-uppers and then there are terrible houses. We completely understand the need for an informed investment, that's where we shine. Our inspection will let you know what the current condition the home is in and how much time and money it will take to make the repairs you want or need.
When we perform a pre-listing inspection, we conduct our full home inspection. We will inspect the Structure, Exterior, Roofing, Electric, Plumbing, HVAC, Garages, Interior, Appliances, and if needed, any other buildings or structures on the property. What is different with this inspection is that we also make suggestions as to how to complete some small improvements or simple maintenance that requires attention.
We also perform WDO (Wood Destroying Organism) Inspections under 20/20 Pest Intervention. We work for them and are trained, licensed and certified WDO Inspectors. Our Inspections are completed prior to the home inspection and we thoroughly inspect for termites, wood borers, beetles and other wood destroying pests.
A wind mitigation inspection is a visual examination of a home's roof structure, windows, and doors ability (or lack thereof) to withstand damage during a windstorm or hurricane. We will examine various features of your home and describes their current condition as well as any improvements that could make the property more wind resistant.

Easy to coordinate/schedule. Super flexible. Turn around time given the depth of information provided was impressive. We had a bunch of follow up questions that were answered including a perspective on potential remedies and costs to address the issues. Saved me from so many potential problems that would have been significant issues if we did not have the insight gained from the inspection reports and followup conversations. I would have paid twice the amount and still been as happy..

JAX House Dr. we found on line and had high ratings as an inspector. Our home was having roofing issues and we decided to have it looked at. He found many code issues with the roof. He aligned all the resourcing to get us basically a NEW roof. I can not put into words well enough how this inspector went to all means to get us Help. A+++

David at JAX House DR is a fantastic, professional inspector, you can tell he has been inspecting for many years. He inspected my house and found several important issues. His reports had excellent digital photos that explained all the issues. Most of which was not easily identifiable. He also saved us about $400 per year on Home Owners insurance with the Wind Mitigation Inspection. I highly recommend JAX House DR

This was the worst experience I ever had with an inspector. My realtor had a relationship with the inspector and due to a 14 day close, he agreed to do the inspection within 24 hours. It was raining so David agreed to come back to inspect the roof. It took forever to get him to comeback to inspect the roof. I did not receive the inspection report until the day before closing. Everyday I called & messaged him asking for the reports. I would not recommend.
Also, I started receiving sales calls from people stating that he referred them. I never authorize for David to release my personal information

I would recommend JAX House Dr. to anybody that needs a very thorough home inspection. David is very meticulous and took several hours to inspect our new home. I would highly recommend Jax House Doctors for you home inspection needs. I called with a request for VA inspection with WDO and explained my closing situation as needing this done as soon as possible in order to complete my financing. Dave went above and beyond and was out for the inspection the very next day.
Not only did he preform a detailed and quality inspection of the entire home but we had all the documentation that same night and were able to provide it to the sellers for immediate corrective action.
