Nice condos. Maintenance does an amazing job with the upkeep of the property. Clubhouse is cozy. The only issues I’ve encountered was with the “business center” sometimes not having paper or ink for printing, with a lack of enthusiasm for rectifying the issue.
Otherwise, I feel safe living & raising my little ones here.

If possible, avoid!! I moved in on June 20th,2020 and that was the worse mistake. No one walked the unit before we moved in. Upon getting the key, we noticed dead water bugs in almost every room. We immediately contacted the office and we have had this issue every since. MANAGEMENT IS VERY RUDE, NONCHALANT AND SIMPLY DOESNT CARE. They set up meetings ( which they don't even show up to, or give a courtesy call to reschedule), I've sent multiple emails to the property manager whom has yet to respond. Let me begin by stating that I rented the unit that I resided in sight unseen. I was relocating to the area and at the time, hurricane Matthew was hitting the area hard so finding anyone to answer phones about rental properties was difficult to say the least. I spoke with Lisa (no longer there) and she was very helpful. She sent me photos of the unit along with a floor plan. I read the reviews which were mixed but because of the size of the units, the proximity to my job, the interstate and upscale shopping I felt it would be a safe bet and so I rented a 3 bedroom unit. Have lived here 7 months now and love it. It is a beautiful place with 2 story brick buildings (alternating with concrete siding) and many large oak trees giving it a residential feel. This is a condominium complex; some are owned and some are management-owned and rented out.
Our unit has a great layout; and there is a ton of closet space and decent sized rooms. We have an oversized garage that provides plenty of storage space. The location is great, conveniently near the Town Center and several grocery stores but still quiet. This might be different for the units facing the road, but our interior

In my 14 years of leasing, I have never rewritten a bad review on any one of the places I have lived, but with Heritage Deerwood, I have no choice but to warn others. I agree with the other writers on the issues they faced. I lived in this condo for three years with my family. My experience with the management was horrible. When I renewed my lease they wanted me to sign away any right to my deposit BAD SIGN. They never took care of the condo while we lived there, but expected the condo to have no sign of wear or tear. This is a continuation of my review:
I couldn't stand this place and moved out about a month early. I opened up the fridge and freezer and shut it off (as requested in the move out instructions) and put the AC temperature to 80ºF. These people had the gall to enter my apartment while I still had the lease and turn my fridge/freezer back on and lower the temperature on the AC. I watched my daily electric bill and noticed they had done this (the electric had to stay in my name until my lease was up). The electric usage was higher than when I lived there and no one was there!!! I wonder

Responsive Management,
Great Amenities.
Good location, (near mall. Resturants, and HWY).
Now, the Cons:
Very Expensive,
The one bedroom units are situated over the garage of neighbors (pay close attention to this problem).
The living room is over your garage,
The den is over the neighbors garage,
Even worse, the master bedroom is over the neighbors garage.
The problem with this is: you are disturbed every time your neighbors enter or exit their garage ( the bedroom vibrates, and the sound of the garage door opening / closing is very loud
