We moved here from out of state a few months ago. We have two small children and a dog and feel very much at home here. The office has been very friendly and communicates well. The grounds are very clean thanks to a wonderful maintenance man named Reed. He really works hard to make sure the place looks beautiful and always greets residents with a friendly hello.
The place has many beautiful public gathering places. I can’t wait to have some hot chocolate by the sleek modern outdoor fire pits with friends.
Overall a very accommodating and beautiful place to live.

Beautiful place to live, plenty of amenities, very advanced with technology, very quiet as well. Rules are fair and help keep the amenities areas clean. Maintenance is very good at what they do, with things being fixed in a timely manner. Elevators in each building which helps a ton with move in. Only draw back are the doors are weak, definitely could’ve been stronger. The gates to the buildings seem to break often and need a lot of attention from the maintance which keeps them busy.

I relocated from out of state and I didn’t know much about the area. After visiting numerous apartment communities in Jacksonville, I decided to go with The Menlo. I choose the Menlo for a few different reasons. First, the staff in the leasing office was very friendly and helpful. They made accommodations for me to take a tour in short notice since I was only in town for a few days. Also, they never seem to be annoyed by my many questions. Been living here for a few months and I have to say we love it. The office staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Maintenance is helpful and quick. The amenities are beautiful and well maintained. We haven’t had a single issue or hiccup since moving in. Which never happens at any apartment community in this city. So safe to say we plan to stay here for a few years, happily!

Very aesthetically pleasing and looks nice but dont let that trick you. I have lived in some pretty shady parts of Jacksonville but this one actually is the one I feel the most unsafe in. There are no cameras anywhere and its right off of the highway with nothing around it. Car actually just got broken into a couple of nights ago so make sure you dont have any valuable belongings in there. Also there's ALWAYS a ton of bugs in the hallways.

Management staff has been great. Mainly worked with Brandon who has been EXTREMELY helpful with every aspect of my move in process. Highly recommend speaking with him for any assistance and inquiries.
The apartments are very modern with high quality appliances. This is a smart building that requires you to use your phone to control access to your building and apartment which makes me feel secure. Hardwood on the floors, carpet in the bedrooms. Balcony is very spacious. Kitchen is gigantic, which was a huge plus for me. Bathrooms are also quite large.

It's been 6 months living here at The Menlo so I thought I would come on here and add a little update. We are still very happy with our choice to live here! Update: Our apartment was broken into last month, when my sister addressed this to two of the office girls, they starting asking questions like "did you leave your front door open? Why would someone break in on the 4th floor? Maybe it was your friends?". Seems that the more appropriate thing to say would've been "are you guys okay? was anything stolen?" or at least let's "file a police report". I was ABSOLUTELY charged a more than $200 deposit prior to moving in. Please explained me the reasoning behind calling someone Asset Protect Insurance that a resident is required to pay for, in addition to it being pitched as my renter's insurance, and tell me how that shouldn't be the "resident's asset's protected?"

Move in at your own risk. I lived there for 2.5 months and had my apartment BROKEN INTO! The doors are not secure, the deadbolt pushed right through the wall. My apartment was not the only one. I had over… $4,000 in items stolen and the worst part is that I was pitched from the beginning that we pay $11 a month for our renter's insurance, as part of our extra month fees, well when it came time to need it they admit it's not actually renter's insurance, it just protects the outside of their building, but residents have to pay for that.
