Absolutely do not live here. Me and my fiancé moved into wood gardens in July and it has been a disaster ever since. When we moved in our carpets were soaking wet. The property manager Stephen has been unable to properly address this issue, and our carpets get wet every time it rains. The apartment was also not clean when we moved in as the ceilings were filthy. This was an awful decision to live here and we can’t wait to leave.

Be wary of all the suspicious 5 star reviews. Management is TERRIBLE.
Our apartment was not ready when we moved in. They had to replace the water heater and a/c blower the day of our move-in and said it would be ready when we got our keys. It took them almost a week for them to install the blower. That’s with us following up with them daily. Also at this time The National Weather Service had us under a heat advisory.
They will charge you for the most minor of things when you move out. They went as far as to charge us for something pre-existing of our move in. We had a block of wood on our door

I am a new resident. My leasing experience was very pleasant. Mr. Steven was extremely professional and helped me with any questions I had.
Everything in the apartment was working as he promised and I love it. We had a few minor cosmetic issues that we brought up and he addressed immediately.
He made the entire experience easy and painless and I would recommend the place to anyone

This is possibly the worst place I have ever stayed and it has been a nightmare for the past year trying to get things repaired. The office management is so unprofessional. After finally being able to make it to the office during office hours after months of emails and trying to get repairs done, the property manager Steven Phillips, could not produce documents that I had asked for when I clearly said that I had never received them. He got upset, raised his voice and told me to leave his office. This happened on two different occasions. The second time I had someone with me to witness the behavior

I was looking for a place to start fresh on my own. Once I got there the exterior threw me off. But the real treasure was the staff. Stephen!!! He was Heaven sent. He did not rush me He did not rush me, nor was he rude. When he showed me the apartments I felt at home. This a great place to start off especially if you are trying to live on your own. Kudos!!!

The most disgusting place I have ever lived. The apartment manager is horrible and does not understand how to properly communicate with people. We were fully taken advantage of the fact that we could not come tour our apartment until the day we signed our lease due to COVID. We were sent a video of a completely different apartment and were originally given a different apartment number until the day before we were to move in when we were asked to change apartments and were assured that it was comparable to the original. For the three years that I have been living in this complex, I have not had to make any complaints about there services. The office staff are very friendly, professional, accountable, and work promptly to have your issues resolved. They go beyond the extra mile! The property manager came out himself to resolve a water leak that I had in my apartment and made sure himself that everything was well taken care of. Very great staff from office staff to maintenance staff. Also it’s a plus that the apartments are very nice and spacious and the apartment complex is a really great place to stay.

I would have given this organization 0 stars but that is not an option. Staff is very rude and unprofessional. They do not care about basic human needs such as AC in the middle of he summer. There is no sense of urgency to fix maintenance emergencies. Problems are solely fixed during business hours and not even sometime then completed. They will charge you HUNDREDS of dollars for the smallest of things, VERY money hungry organization as a whole. Will give you a unit without first walking through it. HUGE bug problem.

These apartments are probably the worst ive ever experienced. starting from the people in the office: horrible service. maintenance: horrible. there are raccoons at these apartments late at night . there are so many nasty insects. so many roaches and spiders. this place is filthy. the staff is lazy and rude. i will never recommend these to my worse enemy. if i could i would not even rate this place 1 star. wood gardens deserves zero stars. i hate this place!!!!

I just want to give a shout out to anyone that is looking for an apartment in Hoover, Alabama!! I moved here to Wood Gardens to be closer to my job, however, my life changed on so many different levels when I moved here!! I moved here in February 2014 and just signed my lease for another year! I am going on my 4th year living here and I don't have plans on moving anytime soon!! I have made great friends here and we all look out for one another! We are like an extended family here! I love this place!! Living in Hoover can be VERY expensive but Wood Gardens is economical compared to the other

If I could give 0 stars I absolutely would. DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!!! The day I moved in I was warned by a couple on the bottoms floor. They said "Don't do it. Whatever you do don't do it." I unfortunately had already signed the lease. I was a resident for 3 years there ONLY because it was one of the cheapest rents in Hoover which by the way I was never late on a payment one time. Management and corporate management do not care AT ALL about the residents. You will wait months for maintenance to come fix issues and then they blame YOU for problems. Management lies and can't

If your expectations live up to waiting over a month for a simple maintaince request to be addressed (with repeated request in between), consistently needing pest control to help keep those critter at ease (notice I didn't say get rid of them), frequent leaks from your ceiling (which I once waited 4 days for maintenence to address), plumbing issues, older and energy inefficient HVAC units, then this is the place for you! Don't just take my word for it, read the other raving reviews of this "luxury" apartment complex elsewhere. I wish I had read them before moving here, because
