They have that promotion which is the first month trial is cheaper than regular, but for some reasons I didn't like the first month trial and left the place. I signed only for one month . But they charged next month payment from my credit card without any reminders. I'm not sure that they have a professional receptionist, everyday different person at the front desk and that lady who helped me for signups haven't ask me that She's going to put my card on auto payment. I'm not able to bring my mat every morning and use their mats sometimes, mats are smells so bad, never

I came here with a friend for a hot yoga class through ClassPass. The space is beautiful and serene. Upon entering, we were happily greeted by the receptionists who explained everything to us since we were newbies to Epic Yoga. The locker room is clean and stocked with any toiletries you may need. Although we brought our own mats, we appreciated the free mat selection they had. We actually opted to use those instead of the ones we brought because our mats weren't meant for yoga.

I love Epic Yoga! Specifically because I take classes with Alex Hall. She is an amazing and intuitive instructor that you can really connect with. She ensures you get the most out of each class through either hands on or conversational connection. She wants to see you thrive not only in your yoga practice but, in life.

Was in town for just the weekend... girls trip. We thought a great yoga class would get us off to a great start on Saturday morning. And lucky us!! We stumbled into an AWESOME class. We took Shannon's Root to Rise and it was wonderful! Everyone was super welcoming, the studio was beautiful, and the flow was perfect. Absolutely recommend. Wish I could go back every Saturday...

Alex Hall's workshop - Soul Vibe + Reiki - is absolutely soul penetrating. I left feeling rejuvenated and believing in the power of Reiki. Since participating in this workshop and taking Alex's soul vibe yoga class I have become a firm believer in the benefits of Reiki on your body, mind, and spirit. I HIGHLY recommend this workshop for anyone who feels that they need a reset or time to reflect. I have since been to see Alex for private Reiki sessions and can attest to the impact it has had on my mindset. Alex also spent time with each participant individually and stayed after class to

I've tried one class here and enjoyed it. They have a reasonable locker room with showers - score!
The rooms are nice and calming too. My class was over packed, but it was a free promotional session, so, I'm not going to judge too harshly.
I think that my instructor's name was Paul? He was really great. I liked his all levels flow. He had flow combinations I haven't had before, which was fun and novel.
Overall, if I lived or worked nearby, I'd definitely consider using this studio.

Had my first ever yoga experience at the Epic yoga. The studio is very nice, ladies at the reception are very very friendly. I was a tad late , room is rather small, so my spot was by the door and wasn't particularly warm. I'm sure this can be fixed by tacking the door with a towel or a mat. The instructor is very lovely and tries to engage all participants but she doesn't use a microphone and the back spots are fairly far, it was quite difficult to hear anything but I could follow people in front of me.
Overall, I will be back when I need a workout that is a tad easier than hotspot

I love Epic!! Finally broke down and bought a membership (which is a lot for a commitment-phobe like me).
They have a really great lineup of yoga instructors. they all have very individual styles though (which i like) but definitely check out a few to find out who's best for what you need.
Emma, the owner, is a wonderful, warm vibrant person and she brings that energy to each and every class I've taken with her. I wish i could start every day with one of her classes, but sadly my schedule doesn't ever seem to line up with her teaching schedule.
Rob is very straightforward, and

This studio has so much going for it:
-Great location across from the Dupont Metro
-Showers and bathrooms stocked with towels & toiletries
-Free mat usage
-Beautiful light-filled studios with exposed brick walls, some heated, others room temp
-A variety of classes (vinyasa, hot yoga, barre, yogalates, rooftop, etc.)
-Free Sunday community class with Rob
-Sign up for classes online so that you don't risk coming to a class that's full (a benefit over corepower in my book)
-Classes are usually not to packed that I'm on top of the yogis next to me

I like epic yoga for a few reasons but they definitely have room for improvement in my eyes:
Classes
There are hot classes and non-heated style classes. The classes do not seem to have a formalized structure but rather. But rather a buildup to the pose of the day to work on and improve a certain pose. I have signed up for class thinking I was taking a heated class which turned out not to be so descriptions could be improved.
Instructors
The instructors are hands on so if you are doing something wrong they will correct you by positioning you right. They do demonstrations of poses I cant

I was looking for a new yoga studio in Dupont, and tried Epic Yoga out. I bought the "FIRSTTIMER" promo pass which offers unlimited yoga for $50 in your first month. So far, I have tried the Hot Yoga and Lunch Power Hour classes. Both classes were excellent.
I had been going to Tranquil Space and District Yoga before I came here. I find that Epic has a much more athletic vibe to its classes. District Yoga is more of a beginners spot with cheap classes, Tranquil Space is more advanced but also more spiritual and pricey. Epic assumes some basic knowledge and some of the flows are pretty

I came to this yoga studio located right off of the Dupont South metro to attend April's Sweat n Samadhi ISHTA Yoga class. This is a beautiful space, and the class and the instructor were awesome !!
Sweat n Samadhi is less intense than the Bikram yoga classes than I ordinarily go to. The studio is heated to only 85 degrees, so I didn't come out with that same detox feeling I get after a Bikram class. That said-- the class is still challenging and great for muscle strengthening exercises. You will do the expected yoga poses and stretches.
While the yoga portion was great, I loved

Epic is right! This studio is gorgeous, gigantic, and they have a life size cardboard Michael Jackson cutout hanging out in the lounge with hula hoops (see pics).
The studio has three rooms for classes; one for yoga, one for heated yoga, and one for yoga barre. There are two large lounge/sitting areas to hang out in and the women's locker room is huge. It has five showers and complimentary lockers. They also have complimentary towels and mats, and they even clean the mats for you.
I thoroughly enjoyed all of the classes I took here. Emma's yoga barre classes are a mix of power vinyasa
