Services
Outdoor classes are open to everyone! For class location, click "View Details" below for any class. Weather-Permitting: In the event of inclement weather (namely a 25%+ chance of precipitation, "feels like" temps above 90 or below 40 degrees, or 18+ mph winds) we'll cancel at least one hour before class and email you options to join the same class in-studio or via livestream.
We've redesigned our studios to offer abundant outdoor air flow (the closest thing to being outside without being outside!), along with a host of other rigorous health-safety measures, and all of the warm and welcoming touches that make Flow Flow. Our initial in-studio gatherings will be limited capacity, and only for fully-vaccinated students, teachers and staff.
Flow's classes are all led by seasoned and inspiring teachers who are dedicated, above all, to one thing: making sure you feel your best! Whether you're looking to move and sweat or slow down and relax, tap your inner dancer or simply come back home to your body to release stress and heal, at Flow you'll always find a class to fit your mood, your practice, and your schedule.
Step 2 - Reserve your spot in classes! If you'd like to join us In-person you'll need to fill out vax info here before reserving a spot. Our Intro to Mysore pass is the perfect place to begin if you're new to Mysore. We're offering it one per person and you can take as many sessions as you'd like for only $25.

This review is a long time coming. Flow yoga center is not only the coolest and hippest place to do yoga in Washington DC, they also have the absolute best teachers, staff and management. for years Flow has always gone out of their way to bring in big-name yoga educators and to organize large mass yoga gatherings in Washington DC. Debra (owner) is all about yoga and community and if I could give more than five stars I would.

I really love flow. All of the instructors are professional and knowledgeable compared to some other studios I've tried locally. Great mix of physical and meditative classes, depending on what you're in the mood for. The front desk staff has always been helpful and responsive if I have to reschedule or when there's a payment issue. But I'm commenting alongside everyone else who says the classes are too full in the hope that they change that one thing! Attended a yoga sculpt class this am that was way too crowded for us to safely move weights and stretch out as the teacher instructed

Unresponsive front desk staff. Finally got them on the phone and was on the phone with them for one hour trying arguing about ONE class which i lost due to their unresponsiveness by email. They didnt give me the class.

Second thing - the classes are packed. Some are definitely a fire hazard. They told me it is a 50 person capacity in the 14th street studio, which is insane. They just want to pack the classes to the maximum to make the most profit. I dont recommend this studio. There are many other options in the area.

All of the classes are beautifully taught by teachers will an intention to guide, strengthen, and heal. Many classes have a spiritual dimension as well, something I was looking for when I came to Flow. I feel lucky to be a part of this amazing community!

Incredible classes and teachers for all levels of practice. The waiting area feels like a spa with its big bay windows, pillowed cushions, and fresh hot tea. The best part are the people there, both the Karma Yogi’s & Fellow practitioners, it is a wonderful community

This one star is for the front desk on the 14th Street. Came to ask some questions because No response from the email. If you could just find everything online by yourself, DO NOT try to ask their assistance. Because the lady at the front desk would ask you whether you have a smart phone and said you could download an app then found everything there. No concept of what customer service means at all. Attitude is rude and makes you feel you are not welcomed at all. I have been to yoga places all over the world, worst experience ever. Decided not to be a customer here.

I love my sunday morning sessions here at Flow Yoga. It's challenging but somehow calming. I leave each class feeling great. My only complaint is that these classes are WAYYY too crowded. There have been times that I had to squeeze in between two people and we were so close that our mats were pretty much touching. I think this inhibits a really effective yoga practice because you can't do some of the moves correctly due to lack of space. I was at a session recently where a guys foot was right in my face because there just wasn't enough room.

I wish this would be addressed. Otherwise

I came to Flow on the advice of a friend after moving to DC, and I am so happy I did--it has provided grounding for me through graduate school and a new job. Flow's great strength is that it offers something for everyone. As my practice has changed, I have continuously been able to find what I need at Flow. In yoga, like in life, people do have significant preference differences--I think that at a place like Flow you should definitely try a different type of class/teacher to figure out what works best for you. The classes at peak hours can be pretty packed--if that's not your thing, I

This place got me into yoga. I've tried everything exercise-wise, from Urban Boxing to SoulCycle and I'm telling you, this is so much better than both. The two-week class package for first time visitors is more than reasonable, so I'd say come in and give it a try to see if it's for you!

Thoughtful and interesting jivamukti-inspired class. Atmospheric, authentic and spiritual studio energy. The studio space has older hardwood floors and brick walls with light filled windows - a look I love and crave, since we don't have that type of material palette in San Diego. I try to take a class each time I'm back in DC.

I think it is finally time that I review Flow since I have been here 20+ times!

I have nothing bad to say, honestly is the best studio in DC. The teachers and staff are wonderful, and the people that come here are so nice. This isn't one of those studios where you come in and people judge you for your appearance or what you are wearing.

They offer such a wide range of classes from hatha, vinyasa, dharma, ashtanga, rocket, etc., as well as workshops. If you want a real workout, come to these classes.

You can keep your mat there for $10/month and they have mats and towels that you can

Flow is one of my favorite things about the neighborhood; I miss it terribly now that we are in a different neighborhood! The studio is tucked away next to Whole Foods on P Street, and the spaces are cozy. The teachers are fabulous: I have been in a class with Joan now for 3 years and can't say enough about how wonderful she is. I also have taken the prenatal yoga class on Sundays for a while, which is great with Jen!
Most of the other teachers I go to (not as consistently) are also great. Everyone is well-trained and quick to help with accommodations and anything injury-related.

Finally found home. Moving across the nation is no easy feat, but finding your home yoga studio is an even greater task. After exploring a number of studios around the District (hallelujah for new member kickbacks), Flow Yoga sticks the landing for my new found home.

My first time round was through Classpass for Mimi's Flow Power 2..I was absolutely blown outta the water! It's been quite a while since an instructor has really challenged me and pushed me to new heights, but Mimi knows just how to advance you to the next level. (Note: This is an advanced class so work your way up to it

I adore the Flow Yoga studios. I really appreciate that the instructors recognize students trying to bust out of the 1.5 level and really become more advanced in their practices without being pushy or too demanding, but expecting improvement.
I also would like to give a shout out to Anna at Flow for being the best damn heated flow instructor I've ever had. She's intense but in a great way!
Clare in core is also amazing and I love/hate her for it.

After going to flow yoga for a couple months and overall enjoying it, I recently had one of the worst customer service experiences of my life. I was dragged out of class not once but twice by a yoga teacher working the front desk. He told me I had a discrepancy with my account and needed to pay for a class I had not shown up to the night before. Umm what?!
A. I had not been to flow yoga in 2 weeks
B. I'm not aware that you can sign up for a class without paying for it online

He proceeded to treat me like I was lying. On a Friday night after a long week at work, this is not how I wanted to

I feel mixed about this studio. I definitely think they have the best workshops in town - they bring in some of the best yoga teachers in the world. My absolute favorite yoga teacher in the world teaches here when she's in town (I cried when she moved out of DC). Their waiting area is really nice, super comfy. Their classes are always SO crowded though. Every single class and workshop I've taken here have mats touching it's so packed. It is an intimidating crowd too and not a super friendly atmosphere. I would only recommend checking out if you are a super serious yogi looking to

I am new to ClassPass and new to Flow Yoga Center-- and so far this is the friendliest studio I've been too in my quest to try out all the different yoga studios in the DC/VA area.

First, be sure you are going to the right location. There is one on P street and also one on 14th street. Secondly, there is a first time free mat and towel rental which was greatly appreciated so I didn't have to lug my mat around town.

I went to a class on the 14th street location and I appreciated the various cubbies where you can place your belongings (outside the room and inside the room). Also, the

I am new to yoga, and this is hands down the best studio I have found yet. As a newbie, you can pay just $40 for unlimited classes for the first month, which is a steal compared to the $20/class price plan (but they also have other pricing plans, like a pre-paid discount bundle).

The studio offers great flexibility with their times, morning, mid-day and eve, which has allowed me to check out a range of their beginner classes. So far, Slow Flow is my favorite.

Love love love Mimi's power yoga class, she is amazing! I prefer to get a lot of moving and poses with varieties in my yoga class and her class literally is one hour power yoga and you feel like you just had some powerful workout afterwards. She occasionally adjusts your poses too which I appreciate.
I've also taken Kristen's class once too, she was a sub and I fell in love with her class as well. She is full of energy and creative and challenges your poses. She also helps with your poses and handstands. My schedule doesn't work out with her classes but I'd love to be

Great yoga classes, unless you go after work hours or on the weekends. Extremely expensive and full of pretentiously stressed out and arrogant people. Love the cushions, but you can't join unless you buy a $1,000 yearly pass or constantly put up with their nickel and diming you out of hundreds of dollars for classes which expire if you don't use them within a certain amount of time or cancel within 24 hours.

Hi Debra, unless you have updated your policies in the last week, what you are telling me is the opposite of what your receptionists have told me multiple times. I believe you should
