I love taking yoga classes with Yoga District. I started in the summer with the Yoga in the Park classes which were great to get me out of the house and back to taking classes in a group setting. Since it's colder outside, I am taking classes with them online and could not be happier. They have a variety of classes offered from beginners to more… advanced. I also appreciate that they offer free classes weekly. I recently tried the meditation class on a Friday night to unwind from the week and it was just what I needed. One of my favorite classes I took a few weeks ago on a Sunday night is

Yoga District has been home to my yoga practice for 3+ years and throughout COVID. They consistently have a wide range of classes available with incredible instructors at an affordable price. YD values an inclusive practice not found at other studios - this is a very welcoming and accepting environment for all people!

My sister got me hooked on Yoga district. All of their staff and instructors are incredibly welcoming and kind and ready to help you improve. I love their variety of classes and locations. Since the pandemic they have made the switch to virtual classes so well- I hardly feel the difference. And they are affordable! I love their mission to make Yoga accessible to everyone.

Andrea D continues to challenge and inspire her students both physically and mentally. In class on 12/30/2019 (at 14th St), she had us do a much slower flow, actually 5 deep breaths per pose, as a way to make us cognizant of our breathing and how it connects to movements. I cannot wait to do that flow again. The positive energy and vibe from us in the room were clearly palpable. It is not all serious though -- Andrea uses humor with her students to keep a balance, such as when we joked about whether we would have to do the long breaths in chaturanga (yes, we did, and we loved it!). WARNING - DO NOT GIVE THIS COMPANY YOUR CREDIT CARD DETAILS
If you are signing up for their one month trial - PAY CASH.
If you have already paid for a *one off* using credit card - check your statement immediately.
They have been taking $97 each month from my credit card since June (from a card I hardly use except for parking) and therefore hardly check up on. I was only in Washington for one week... over $300 for 3 classes is essentially what I have payed for.
I was utterly shocked to see how much had been taken without any contract, permission or authorization. And after looking at Yelp

I really love Yoga District. Bloomingdale, 14th St, you name it... the locations are great without being over the top, the instructors are down-to-earth, the classes are challenging and exciting. After moving back to DC after 4 years away, a 2-hour workshop on Sunday did not disappoint!
Can't wait to get back in there.

This is a not-swanky, not-corporate, chill vibe studio. They have all the props you’ll need, bathrooms, changing rooms, and mat storage. I came here because they offer a much wider variety of classes than most other places in DC. the top floor studio is bright with nice windows. The instructor, jarrick, was welcoming, friendly, and an overall great teacher who offered lots of possibility for different levels of ability without being pushy. I’ll definitely be back the next time I’m in dc.

I couldn't say enough nice things about this yoga practice. I initially came due to a back injury - I just wanted a good stretch, because my chiropractor was concerned about my lack of flexibility and how it made more intensive workouts more dangerous for me.
I started with two restorative classes - one with Christine and one with Aparna - and was instantly hooked. Since then, I have taken the Yoga 1-1.5 classes, Meditative Yoga, Kundalini yoga, Yin Yoga, and finally Yoga 1-2. The classes are perfectly described on the very user-friendly website, it is so easy to schedule and manage my account

Are you new to yoga and totally lost as to what it means to "flow into down dog?" Great! Are you a practiced veteran looking to deepen your practice? Equally fantastic! Are you a broke person living in DC who thought that you'd never be able to afford to go to yoga and also eat? This is your place- the reasonable prices and ENORMOUS class selection make it possible to actually practice yoga without going broke!
The instructors are amazing. I was immediately impressed by Shahrooz, who walked our small class in the I Street location through the basics of every pose. He was patient and seemed to

I took an Alignment Flow class (Beginner/Intermediate) on 6/21/2016 at the 14th street location. The regular instructor was out, but our substitute Andrew was absolutely wonderful. I'm not in great shape, so the class was perhaps more strenuous than I was anticipating, but throughout the 75 minutes Andrew was helpful and supportive while leading us through a challenging (for me) routine. Andrew created a safe and positive space, and I thoroughly enjoyed my class -- it left me feeling strong, grounded, and relaxed. I'm not a DC resident, but I would love to take more classes with Andrew, I won't

Love yoga district - very affordable compared to other studios in DC. In addition, they truly live the practice of yoga - practicing ahimsa, being kind to others, and building community. I took yoga teacher training here, and I am so happy I did. I have learned so much and have met so many wonderful people because of that experience. looking forward to spending more time with the yoga district family.

In the industry where so many studios seem prohibitively expensive, these have got to be the most affordable yoga classes in DC!
I did yoga on and off for many years until I had my first child two years ago. During that pregnancy, I did some regular flow classes at another DC studio and just modified the practice as needed...yet I always felt awkward being the only pregnant person. There weren't any prenatal classes close enough to me (or reasonably priced enough) for me to justify going elsewhere. This second pregnancy, however, I was so happy to find Brittany and her prenatal/postnatal
