DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY! Overpriced for an apartment that is out dated and when you first move in you can tell right away that they literally do a surface paint over everything. I lived here for 15 months and every single month my dishwasher would stop working. I asked for a new one since it had so much mold build up since I first moved in and the maintenance guy gave me a bottle of dishwasher cleaner and told me if I used that then I would not need a new one! I currently live in this property. Nice apartments and a good price compared to many other places. Funny desk is polite and get things done. No clue what Devon is talking about. Calling someone piggy is trash. The only complaint I would have is letting someone like him live here. No respect!

This is a beautiful property! We have the most awesome gym a property can have. I literally workout there 24/7 and it’s open 24 hours a day! The maintenance is really helpful and they don’t play about the property. They keep it very very clean. Work orders are done in a timely fashion. Lisa is one of the sweetest leasing agents ever. She goes above and beyond to help the residents. Will is also a person that is at Genoa Lakes to help the residents with resources such as rental assistance, utility assistance and so much more! The apartments are very spacious and modern! The complex has 3 pools

This place is a sh****hole, management absolutely blows, ridiculous rent prices. You could live in Scottsdale for the same price. I recommend never giving a dime to these slimebags. Also did I mention they randomly raise your rent and lie about certain employees working there. **** THE HEAD "KAREN" RUNS THIS PLACE AND THATS THE MAIN ISSUE***** if you're looking for a place to live and this is your absolute last resort before going to jail, this is the place for you. DON'T MOVE HERE! When i first moved here five years ago, it was awesome. Very affordable place to be. People and staff were friendly, and i was told how the rent doesn't go up much at all. Maybe $50 at the start of a new lease. But in actual reality, it goes up $100 every year. And now this year it went up $300 additional. I cant get any new carpet after five years, my garbage disposal has been broken for a year and no one evey comes out to fix it. So if you want to move into a place where they will charge additional money every year for absolutely nothing additional offered for the community or

So, we've lived here round about 5 months now, and so far its been a pretty good experience. Personally, I'm not too happy about the pricing, considering that most of the appliances are cheap. Our dishwasher has broken twice, thankfully the maintenance people are quick to come fix it and are very nice. The layout of the apartments are nice, I don't really have very many complaints about this place beyond just the price being a bit too high for what you get. Also, I'm not sure that every apartment building has this problem but we do have a lot of crickets around the patio and they get in sometimes

I've lived at Genoa Lakes now for many years. In the time that I've been there, the following incidents have happened: my car was shot, my car was damaged by the carport during a storm, my car was vandalized, my catalytic converter was stolen, our washing machine repeated damaged clothing and even after waiting 3 weeks for them to replace it with a new unit, clothing was still damaged, I was threatened by neighbor's guests, had to call the police on multiple occasions for domestic disturbances, and had the AC break in the middle of a Saturday night. I originally loved living here. The first year was a great experience and dream come true. The last year has been extremely difficult for me living here. I still love my apartment and the view, but I’ve hardly been able to enjoy it. It’s been problem after problem with no fix and yet I’m expected to still be happy and have no issues or concerns. All of my emails are practically ignored and put into a junk folder I assume- so much so that’s I’ve given up even asking for anything or complaining anymore. Any issues/concerns I’ve had has been poorly handled and ever worse communication

I was placed in a unit that reeked of cigarette smoke from the downstairs neighbors smoking in their unit. I notified the office within the 1st few weeks of living there, nothing was done. They suggested I place a scented filter in my ducts but they couldn't do anything else. After 10 months of living there with daily smell of cigarettes in my unit the new manager did offer me 2 other units, one was over an apartment that had 3 barking dogs and the other other was next to a unit that recently had the cops there for a domestic and someone was arrested. Terrible Terrible Terrible. Do not move in here unless you like not having a parking spot 24/7, having multiple issues with staff, and being over charged for every little thing that isn't up to their high standards. I have lived here for about a year and a half and have truly enjoyed my time here! The office staff has been very helpful and always notifies us if something is going on within the complex whether it's updates or remodeling. Laz the maintenance supervisor is always on top of things and super helpful whenever a maintenance request. I have always had things handled same day and everyone has been super helpful. The gym is much better than most apartment gyms I've encountered, pools and landscaping are always well kept too. I would definitely recommend living here!

I lived here for two years and management was awful. Even for a year after I moved out they would send me mail and call me having me confused with current renters. When we moved in we had to go into the office 4 different times to resign the lease because they kept misplacing it or "were missing pages." I have never worked with a more disorganized leasing office. They have such high turnover you almost never speak with the same person twice. When we were moving out we scheduled a time for maintenance to do a move out inspection and they never showed up. We didn't get a deposit report

RENTER beware poor management they don't know there right from there left. No one who works here is qualified to manage these, second if you move out pay for carpets clean make sure to do the walk thru with someone and have them give you s paper. Otherwise they charge you for damages you never left. Second you can't have visitors people are very in your business here, which for the amount you pay I am not about to be babysat by neighbors. The complex overall is kept up and they do a great job of keeping trash around the complex cleaned. We lived here for one year but just couldn't stay anymore for one big reason, cockroach infestation. And when I say infestation I don't sat that lightly. It's easy to see why as well because throughout the unit you can find several holes in the walls and who knows within the kitchen cabinets and walls how many holes there are. I have lived here for almost 6years rent keeps going up and up yet nothing has been upgraded in my apartment.I've asked for new faucets ( bathrooms and kitchen) two years ago,master shower to be fixed due to old tile and peeling latex paint coming off when you clean it etc . I had a large fridge org they where going to fix brought me a smaller one apparently that's whats being used now I was suppose to get it back never did due to Maintenance now has my old fridge in the storage for there own usage next to the pool. Yet the complex has been upgraded gym and painting. I find it greedy

I lived here for 3 years almost. It was my first apartment. And I really enjoyed the peace and quiet and the ducks roaming around. I would often spend my time walking the grounds or having coffee on my patio in the morning. I lived next to a lake that had a waterfall fountain near the back where the park is with climbing stones. Used to fall asleep to the sounds of the lake in the springtime and enjoy the fireplace in the winter. Staff was always nice but they had their days as much as anyone else working customer service. I rented a 3 bedroom apartment for a year, and had a horrible experience.
On my move in day, as my roommates and I were moving in, the people were still cleaning the apartment. It was a mess. Our carpets were filthy, and the place was dirty through out.
So we had to RE-MOVE everything for them to re-do our carpeting.
They had to come on another day a week later to re-do our carpets, as well as fix my shower as it looked like it hadn't been cleaned in over a year. On top of that, the communication with the management was awful.
As I moved out, they charged me over 200$ for a "dirty"

I've lived here for almost a year and just signed my 60 day notice that I will not be renewing my lease, that should be telling enough. Although there's nothing really wrong with the apartment itself, management isn't great. I've had all sorts of scary neighbors come and go, I've had to call the cops, I've made noise complaints, nothing seems to change. There's dogs that constantly bark above me.
